- Sophie (1/5): For the love of god, do not stay here…. it’s a total rip off & it’s horrendous. - I liked the idea of it. Where do I begin? Every single thing about this property was dismal. When we arrived we met a strange guy who ‘checked us in’ who just said ‘money’. We had to pay before we could go inside, and now I know why… we walked in & the entire apartment stunk like onions & urine. We tried calling the contact number multiple times, and we never had our call answered or returned. There was grime on the walls, and everywhere you looked there were threatening messages saying that you’d be fined ¥10,000 for: being loud, moving the two single beds closer, for complaints made by a neighbour etc etc. The only reason we booked this place was because we had our dog with us, and there were no dog bowls. We booked because it had cooking amenities, so we could cook our dog food. There was no cooktop, no saucepans & no oven (unlike in the pictures). The supplied towels were more like hand towel size & thin. The beds were so cheap, that when anyone rolled over the whole apartment could hear the bed creak.. the mattresses were thin & uncomfortable. The next morning we decided to leave as the stench of urine was now throughout the apartment & it was overwhelming. We packed up and left at 9am. the owner refused to compensate us for the accomodation & the false advertising… so we are still taking it up with bookings.com. In my 20’s I stayed at $2 a night huts on a beach in The Philippines (that had no ceilings, I’ve stayed at run down old hostels in Poland that had shocking infrastructure…. this place was worse. Unfortunately, we only took videos the next day to send to Bookings.com… so I can’t post them as this review only accepts photos.
