Guest Reviews
- Antti (10/5): We really liked it a lot! - Very good atmosphere, good location, friendly staff and cherry on the cake is the terrace with sauna on top of the building.
- Agnieszka (10/5): - Nowoczesny, czysty apartament z tarasem z widokiem na Tokyo Skytree. Przestronny apartament z dużą łazienką. Przepyszne śniadania, przemiła obsługa. Na przeciwko 7eleven, do stacji metra/pociągu 10 minut piechotą. W pobliżu knajpki z pysznym sushi i ramenem. Okolica bardzo spokojna, 10 minut spacerem do Tokyo Skytree z centrum handlowym i akwarium.
Pobyt bardzo nam się podobał.

- Steven (10/5): - My group loved this stay! Comfortable beds, separate washer and dryer (much better than the combined at other stays), kitchen with everything you could need, great view from the rooftop and the bath up there was a great place to sit in some hot water and chat after a long day out in Tokyo! The hosts were fantastic and helped with a luggage shipping issue that made a potential headache a lot easier to manage. If you're staying here, absolutely get a booking at EMC downstairs. The hosts double at EMC as amazing cooks and made us a fantastic wagyu meal (with fantastic sake pairings)! We'll be back when we come back to Tokyo. Nothing
- Jessica (10/5): A beautiful place to stay with a group near the Skytree. - It was beautiful and the rooftop bath, sauna and seating was an amazing bonus. The staff were really kind and helped us take our baggage up and down the stairs NA
- Hee Soo (10/5): -
- Vy (10/5): - Our favourite group stay in Japan! The host was incredibly helpful and the accomodation was clean, spacious and perfect for a group. The shower and toilet were separate and beds were comfortable and had the ideal amount of separation for the group. Great location about 8 minutes walk from the station
- Huub (10/5): Very nice stay in a magnificent apartment. - Beautiful spacious apartment for us as a family to start our round trip through Japan. Very friendly hosts and a good location.
We also had the Wagyu and Sake pairing, wich was truly amazing.
- Igor (10/5): Perfect spot for a family of 5. - Spacious spot in a quiet area, yet just a 5-minute walk to Oshiage Station. 7-Eleven right across the street and plenty of great food nearby. The kids still talk about it—our favourite stay of the trip. Terrific, responsive host as well! Nothing really, everything was great.
- niki (10/5): -
- Jeffrey (10/5): AMAZING, If i have less people next trip i want to book the third floor. - We had a pretty late flight but the host were crazy accomodating, even having a staff member stay later so that he can meet us upon arrival to give a tour and instructions etc. Not much other than maybe 1 more lamp in the common area.
- Victoria (10/5): -
- Felicia (10/5): We had a great stay and would recommend! Host was so nice and friendly - Comfortable and very nice rooms! The lighting was a little dim
- Nicola (9/5): -
- Laila Taqi (10/5): Amazing - Friendly staff and very cooperative with excellent communication, our room was spacious enough with everything we could need it was convenient and would definitely stay here again Nothing:D
- Natalie G (10/5): Amazing stay! - The stay was amazing! They offer lots of amazing services and are very happy to help you. The rooms are very nice and are perfectly located. Very close to skytree with loads of shops and restaurants. Also loved the view of the skytree from the room. Would stay here again! If you dont like uneven flooring for your beds this might not be for you. There is a kettle and a fridge but no cups, cutlery or plates.
- Luci (10/5): A great way to experience Tokyo while staying with larger groups and small children - Loved that it was spacious and close to Oshiage station. The apartment is modern and comfortable. We especially loved the upstairs terrace with sauna and outdoor bath! The host was very accommodating and helped us out promptly with any requests! Would stay here again next time! Nothing
- Stephen (9/5): A haven in a quiet area just a short walk from Asakusa with a fabulous rooftop. - Lots of space which is a rarity in Tokyo. Lovely open living area and the sleeping cubes were comfy and fun. Roof top bath, sauna and incredible views of the Skytree were the cherry on top. Kitchen could be better stocked.
- Jana (10/5): - A lovely, spacious apartment fit with everything you'd need. The rooftop was fantastic. A gorgeous neighbourhood and in walking distance of a 7/11. It was just perfect for us. Wish we got to stay longer! The steps to the apartment were steep and not fully enclosed so I would not recommend this place for anyone with young children, anyone elderly or anyone living with mobility issues. There was also a large step to the bathroom which someone not able bodied may struggle with.
- Christopher (10/5): -
- gary (9/5): Exciting original space with comfy beds - Great and original
Space with sauna on rooftop
The hosts were fine but didn’t really meet them
We didn’t get a chance to use the business downstairs
It is fairly steep price wise but we were very comfortable and had the most amazing shower ever! The steps are steep and narrow to access room
We were helped on arrival to lift heavy suitcases there
We had to carry down ourselves on departure as we left very early at 6:00am
- chrisbeeton (10/5): Fantastic stay! - Perfect location and a stylish, comfortable apartment. The rooftop sauna and bath were highlights—especially at night with the Skytree view. The hosts were wonderful and even recommended a great local ramen spot. Highly recommended! No complaints whatsoever. We had a wonderful time at this property and will definitely stay there again in the future should we need a place of this size in Tokyo.
- Steffie (10/5): Parfait. - L’originalité, le nombre de couchage, la propreté, les différents services, la localisation et surtout la gentillesse de l’hôte.
- Jetmar (10/5): Stayed at AET & o3 Hotel on our last three days in Tokyo. Place was super clean and great location. - How easy the host Dai made everything about staying at the property.
We were also able to ship our luggage from Osaka to the hotel which was a huge plus.
Also, Dai helped us book a shuttle to the airport Nothing, everything was super clean and a great experience
- SHIE (8/5): -
- Roger (9/5): -
- Thomas (10/5): -
- Austin (9/5): It was a wonderful and value stay, suit a family with teenagers or children. - The location was excellent, with the 7 Eleven a few metres from the hotel makes it very convenient. The Tokyo Skytree Oshiage station is a short walk, which we use it daily to get to the train and it's had food court and good shopping there as well.
The bed compartment was very comfortable and private. The side curtain next to the stair was very thin, which mean when people coming up the stairs in the middle of the night, the light will shine into two of the bed compartment and will wake you up.
Also not sure if the wall was thin or the other guest was too noisy, but we also get woken up by loud footsteps on the stairs and from the upper floor.
- Liza (10/5): Better then expected! - Great loft with funny bed(rooms) wich were especially appreciated by our kids.
For me the rooftop terras made our stay perfect > nice, quite, private and great view and bathtub..
- Maider (10/5): Hôtel fabuleux à 2 pas d’une station de métro avec un hôte extrêmement sympathique et disponible en cas de besoin - Très bien placé
Hôte extrêmement sympathique
Super petit dej
- Nieves (7/5): -
- Francis (10/5): Great hotel. Plenty of space for our family of 5. We enjoyed the roof top garden/bath/sauna. -
- Gabriela (10/5): -
- Kay (10/5): -
- Maria (9/5): -
- Wayne (10/5): Convenient location and quiet, charming apartment. Felt like a home. - We had the entire third floor, and the rooftop to ourselves. Not too many places can meet the needs of a family with 2 adults and 2 kids, but this place was perfect for us. The sleeping arrangements are unique. That said, they were quite comfortable, but it did take some getting used to when I got up in the middle of the night.
- Lori (10/5): perfect for family and groups -
- Ben (10/5): Perfect for our family of 6 - We loved the location with views of Skytree and only a 5 minute walk from the metro station, accessing other major parts of the city were made easy. With 4 kids under 10 this was by far the best accommodation for our family in Japan. Would highly recommend for groups of families. There was nothing to not like. We thought the accommodation was really excellent.
- Sarah (10/5): Definitely booking again - Great design for a family to come back and have space to chill. Awesome location. Great staff - very helpful.
- Richard (10/5): Exceptional -
- Zachary (10/5): Exceptional -
- Seltz (8/5): Very good -
- Calvin (10/5): My best stay in japan ever. Worth every dollar to stay here. Will definitely come and stay here again on fiture visits. - Beautiful design, spotlessly clean, amazing kitchen and very convenient to have washer and dryer available.
Host Dai & Tei were very attentive and super nice. They helped me with all my requests and responded promptly to messages. Stairs is narrow and difficult for seniors, but not a deal breaker.
- Leslie (8/5): Very good -
- Alexander (10/5): Fabulous stay in a lovely neighbourhood in Sumida, within a short walking distance from Skytree. We loved our stay and w - The property was spacious and had very good facilities. Perfect for our family of 5 wanting some extra room after long days exploring Tokyo. Added benefit was the rooftop sauna, fabulous way to unwind! NA
- Lara (10/5): Wonderful stay - This is a beautifully designed apartment and had a unique sleeping pod set up. The location is in a quiet street and is walking distance to the train station.
- Toby (10/5): Exceptional - Owner was very helpful and friendly. Quite a new place to stay in Tokyo.
- Marc (9/5): Cozy, modern space for a family or group or friends close to the skytree and 3 lines of metro - The space was nice, clean. The sauna and was an amazing plus It was all good
- Tim (10/5): Perfect - Easy access and great to have whole family in one room. Bumped my head a few times but that’s Japan !
- Susan (10/5): We’re looking forward to returning! - We absolutely loved the style of the property. It was a joy to stay in. The right blend of quirky and functional made our stay in Tokyo perfect.
The AET is also in very convenient location!
- Emma (10/5): Excellent accomodation for a family. -
- Jessie (8/5): Very good -
- Megan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Valerie (10/5): so spacious and convenient location! - so spacious! we were 4 and we were able to move around freely especially having so many luggages. oshiage station and tokyo skytree are less than 10 minutes away by walk, a convenience store across the hotel and grocery/drug stores around. the staff is amazing and so helpful with our questions! no elevator but the staff will bring up and down your luggages. we didnt get to use the outdoor tub, we would get home late and didnt feel like using it at night with all the buildings surrounding it. the towels were a weird fabric, i hope they change it to normal white hotel towels.
- Derrick (10/5): A good experience overall - Room is cozy and nice. Staff is very helpful and friendly! Toilets are clean and water pressure is good. Water heater is not constant and has to wait at least 20 minutes to be warm. No lift and steep stairs up to property but luckily it’s only 2nd floor.
- Elyasyabas (9/5): Superb - The size of the whole third floor is very comfortable for our family of 5. The hot tub on the rooftop terrace is a bonus for us to enjoy. We just wish there's an elevator so we didn't have to lug our luggages up and down.
- Edwardo (8/5): Needs a bed. - Close to train station Claustrophobic and uncomfortable loft style beds.
- Ian (10/5): Great - Close to metro and 7/11. Direct line to Haneda Airport. Cool cubicles provide privacy.
- Melanie (10/5): Great apartment in convenient location - Good communication from the property. Nothing
- Ian (10/5): Awesome first stop in Japan - I loved the pods. I loved the area - close to metro and 7/11. Bathrooms were great. Washing machine and dryer - awesome. Cool. I liked everything
- Skjong-nilsen (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful building with such a cozy vibe, the floor to ceiling windows are amazing as well as the private rooftop with the sauna and bath.
- Nicola (10/5): Unique place - The staff was very helpful helping us with the luggage forwarding and any questions we received answers back straight away.
The hotel is unique in set up with a 711 very close by.
The station was close.
We are a group of 7 and the facilities suited us very well.
- Normina (10/5): It was lovely and comfortable . - The property is great , the location is brilliant just few minutes walk to/ from Tokyo Sky tree station ,3 stop to Disneyland .Mike and Tie are vey accommodating and very welcoming.Highly Recommended . Bit pricey but worth it☺️
- Prue (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nick (10/5): Amazing, stylish, light apartment with all facilities. - Amazing, stylish large room/ apartment with all facilities. Very light and cosy. We loved to spend time here as a family. The space has large sofa's, bathroom with 2 toilets, very nice kitchen, 3 sleeping pods etc. Also very conveniently located near the Skytree and supermarkets. Last but not least the hosts are super nice. Nothing
- Limor (10/5): Unique and amazing hotel! - An amazing hotel. Beautiful design, great location. Glad we chose this hotel for our family vacation in Tokyo 🇯🇵🇯🇵 None
- Stijn (10/5): Perfect in every way! - Architecture, atmosphere, staff None
- Jasmin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ka (10/5): Excellent hotel. - Great location. Good facilities. Excellent host who will go out of her way to help you with your holiday needs. Lighting near dining table could be reconfigured to be brighter. Kitchen utensils needs chopsticks.
- Westley (10/5): Exceptional -
- Andrew (10/5): Exceptional - The place was very clean and enough space to fit the 6 of us for our whole trip. The area is close to Skytree and a lot of shops which we visited along the way. Having a water dispenser, hot tub upstairs, and a kitchen were really nice and added to the comfort of the stay. I expected the place and beds to be a bit smaller, so the size was a surprise. Watch your head when leaving the beds, just in case you hit your head.
- Magnus (9/5): Great place for large group. - Great space suitable for larger groups. 2 showers and 2 bathroom was very beneficial for us. Location was excellent, close to well connected public transport routes. Living room area was a bit small for the amount of beds in the space. There was no oppurtunity to dry clothes in the apartment, but there was a laundromat relatively close.
- Jan (10/5): Exceptional - The setup, good sleeping arrangements, 2 showers 2 bathrooms
- James (10/5): Amazing! - Friendly and accomodating owners and staff, very comfortable, spacious and well appointed rooms. Our unit was on the third floor, it had a full size kitchen, washer and dryer and access to the roof deck with an amazing view of the skytree. This is definitely our home when in Tokyo from now on. None.
- Sandy (10/5): Perfect stay and comes with a washer - We loved how much room we had! Each family member (there were 6 of us) had our own private space and bed. The beds were comfy and the comforter was very cozy. The entire unit was pristine. We also loved the layout of the bathroom facilities. There were (2) separate toilet closets and (2) separate shower rooms each with their own dry room. The double vanity was separate and accessible to everyone. Another bonus is the washer! We were able to pack lightly. The location was very safe with a 7/11 across the street. The walk to the Skytree Station was about 12 minutes. It was mostly through a quiet neighborhood. We also loved the amazing Life Supermarket next to the Skytree Station. We were able to grab snacks before starting our day or grab a late night snack before heading back at the end of the day. Plus, the host was very gracious and helpful by holding on to our luggage the last day while we explored. Nothing!
- Anna (10/5): Exceptional - - all perfect, great location
- nice design, clean, good for mixed bigger groups
- comfy beds and bathrooms,
- helpful staff all great and great price for Tokyo
- Rachel (8/5): Beautifully clean facilities, functional and close to the train station - Really close to the Oshiage train station, awesome communication with the host she was there to greet us on arrival and kindly looked after our bags after we checked out. They also helped transport our bags up and down the steep staircase.
We stayed on the third floor of the hotel. Facilities were super clean and the rooftop space was very special! Also made use of the washing machine and dryer and both worked excellently, was super helpful having the host explain how they worked when we arrived.
We were worried about hearing noise from guests staying on the second floor but soundproofing seemed good and we had no issues at all.
A note for those booking: there is a wagyu beef restaurant on the 1st floor which looks incredible. This isn’t advertised on booking.com which is a shame as we would have loved to book a dinner here during our stay. For those interested would recommend asking the host in advance to book! We struggled to determine the layout of the space from the pictures and were disappointed to find that the space is in fact all one large room, we were expecting to find a door that closed off the kitchen area so that our baby could sleep in a separate room. Would be good to include a floor plan in the photos to avoid others making this same mistake!
- Thomas (9/5): Superb - Prime location and great facilities No remarks
- Hyunji (10/5): Exceptional -
- Benny (9/5): Superb -
- R (10/5): A gem! - An amazing, cozy and cool apartment! We loved staying here. Would definitely come again! The location is great too - a short walk to the station and the skytree! Staff are super friendly and helpful! Nothing. Would recommend staying here!
- Daniel (9/5): Superb - Good location. Very clean spacious apartment with rooftop terrace. Friendly hosts. The mattresses in the sleeping pods were a bit hard for my taste but otherwise I enjoyed my stay here.
- Adrianne (10/5): Exceptional -
- Hamish (10/5): A private oasis close to everything. - Close to transport, food, and local attractions - this property has it all. The view - especially from the roof - is amazing. The hot tub is fantastic and a perfect way to relax and unwind. The living area is huge and comfortably accommodates multiple people each doing their own thing. The sleeping pods are incredibly comfortable and have shutters that allow for additional privacy. The stairs were narrow. This is the only negative, and everything else about the property is incredible.
- Quang (8/5): Nice hotel, enjoyable - Compact, clean and convenient. My family really enjoy our stay here. The stair is narrow so you have to be carefully especially if you have kid
- Jake (10/5): Exceptional -
- Joshua (9/5): Superb -
- Ming (10/5): Exceptional - Staffs are nice, provide English service.
- Roxana (10/5): Our host, Tei, was great to talk to and spoke fluent English. He was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the - This penthouse apartment was very modern and well appointed.
The kitchen was a great size for cooking a family meal.
The pod style sleeping arrangements were comfortable and functional.
The bathroom was excellent. There was also a second toilet.
The rooftop area had a great view of the surrounding area, including of the Tokyo Sky Tree. The narrow/steep stairs could prove challenging to climb for less abled people, especially when carrying luggage. Our host was able to give us a hand to help with the luggage.
- Jason (9/5): Stylish central and with a private by demand Wagu BBQ & cafe - Service was outstanding, facilities beuatiful. Central location to so many amazing bars, food venues and the Tower. Our group struggles with the additional bedding. Not used to futtons. But not the worst by far. Literally only complaint.
- Andrew (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dr. (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michael (9/5): Perfect introduction to tokyo - Great location. Not too busy not too quiet. The accomodation was very cozy Was a little crowded with 8 people but it wasn’t an issue
- Brett (10/5): Wonderful - Very roomy apartment with spectacular rooftop terrace with bath and sauna.
Superb view out over Tokyo skytree . It’s in a great location a few minutes from subway and lots of local restaurants nearby. Staff were very helpful and held our bags fii ok r the day before our early evening flights Nothing of note
- Cattleya (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lam (9/5): Great and affordable stay in a quiet location with extremely nice host, highly recommended! - Location was nice and quiet, not a whole lot to do around that neighborhood but was close enough to the train so easily accessible. It was just more at the end of the line. The shop below was very aesthetically pleasing and the barista, Yosuke, was very pleasant and fun to talk with. The owner and his son, Fitz, was also very friendly and both Fitz and Yosuke are able to communicate very well in English, so don’t let the fear of any language barrier stop you from booking this place. We got the 2nd floor instead of the top floor which is the only one with roof access, but it’s not the bookings fault, more just my own. If the group on the 3rd floor is loud you can hear it on the 2nd floor, but I don’t think much can be done about that. It’s really not terrible but if you’re a light sleeper, you can wake up from the noise.
