• yo (1/5): Major security issues with all beds, dishonest landlord - Absolutely dishonest landlord. Every turn of the way, the landlord used tricks to pose the issue on us, avoiding the major security issue. Pictures shown are not what was offered. When security issues were raised, the landlord avoided the issue but keep sending us the posted cheating picture arguing every piece corresponds to reality, yes, but only on conceptual level. Landlord also avoided the major security issues and told bookings that we just wanted a different room, and offered to cancel the last day stay with 2 hour notice and then claimed that we chose to stay. There was not a single bed that was legally sound. Top bunk bed: no railing above bed surface, which means you can roll off the 5ft bed to the floor; the ladder leading to the top bunk was missing bottom 2 steps,. When climbing the ladder up to the top bunk， you for sure will hit your head on the bulkhead extruding from added loft area. Lower bunk: so low that my 130cm tall child could not sit up straight. Any normal human being could function on this bed? Loft bed: that was the only bed left so we all squeezed into that bed, only to realize that the foot of the ladder leading to the loft bed was covered against the foot of the desk, the only furniture in the room. Maybe it could be OK, but not until one has to go up and down the loft bed using the ladder and stepping on to the floor for access to bathroom. The 2nd night, one of us tripped on the foot of the desk and had nose bleeding for a while. We told the landlord this room has unreasonable configurations and cannot be legally habituated as such. 10am the landlord told booking.com to email us to offer us free cancelation for the day if we vacate the room by 12pm, because we "asked for a different room. We were on the other side of the town for a whole day commission. Only to find out end of the day that we supposedly "chose to stay".
• Azahara (5/5): Calidad-Precio mala - La calefacción y la lavadora (a pesar de que no supe como se usaba) es algo que pocos hospedajes ofrecen, se agradece. El lava manos es muy bajito, el baño en general es muy incómodo por lo estrecho que es. Demasiadas multas, por equivocarte al tirar basura incluso. Cobran 1600 yenes cada 15 minutos tarde de checkout y ni siquiera te reciben. Demasiadas exigencias para el precio que he pagado y lo que ellos ofrecen. Por no hablar de que hay que coger 2/3 trenes para llegar a cualquier lado. Encima no hay cama de matrimonio, como creí ver en la foto. Es una litera, mi pareja y yo lo pasamos mal para dormir. Lo recomiendo si no puedes permitirte algo mejor, pero no es un sitio en el que se puedan recargar las energías para vivir el siguiente dia de manera energética.

• Rebecca (10/5): Everything you would need for a comfortable stay - Owner was very helpful in accommodating an earlier check in. Amenities was sufficient, the accommodation provided a washing machine which was very helpful, had a small stove area with cooking equipment provided and utensils if you wish to make your own food along with microwave and kettle. Beds were also nice and firm so it was a comfortable sleep. Only 5 minutes train ride to Ikebukuro station and around 30 mins to Ueno. The route from the nearest station to the accommodation is also very close so is ideal for those with multiple suitcases like ourselves and is pretty much flat all the way. If you have noisy neighbours and other guests within the same building you will hear them, bathroom is a little small but with everything put into consideration it is still a great place to stay

• Kirill (9/5): - It's a very good equipped appartement. For one person definitely big enough.For two, well, it's normal for Tokyo. Even with a vacuum cleaner, very handy. Lack of sound proof. If neighbours are behaving normally, It's all right. I was not so lucky. I didn't know what to do with the garbage staying there for six nights. In Japan it's a general problem. No dust bins, difficult to get rid of it.

Loved that there was a roomy loft and bunk bed. Laundry machine available in room. Hair dryer available and the information binder was super helpful with explaining how to use remotes and appliances. Loved full size mirror by the door. It was a little crammed with the ladder to the loft and storage for suitcases was limited to under the bunk bed. Trash cans were really small. Refrigerator was definitely mini. Small entry way for shoes.

• Kenneth (7/5): Affordable but very small - The location seemed like a nice residential neighborhood, with several dining and convenience store options. The room wasn't immaculate, but clean enough. The bed was fairly comfortable. The price is very affordable for a room that allows you to be at Ikebukuro station in about 15 minutes. This is a very small studio apartment. It's significantly smaller than most American hotel rooms. However it was the size of the bathroom that was a real problem for me. The tub is very small, to the point that I had a hard time moving around in it. Then after showering I would have to walk into the bedroom to dry myself because there isn't enough room to do it inside the bathroom. In fact most of what I usually do in the bathroom to get ready for the day was done in the bedroom, with trips to the bathroom whenever I needed to use the sink. Overall the size of the apartment, while very small, wasn't really a problem. But the size of the bathroom was a noticeable annoyance that I had to deal with every day.
• Glen (8/5): Great local stay with a slightly annoying train transfer to get to. - Fantastic tiny classic Japan style apartment in a very real very local neighbourhood in Japan. Everything you need in a tiny package, clean, easy, will stay again. Main thing to consider this is on the seibu line which most day tickets for the Tokyo transport system do not include, it's just a small annoyance to pay another 160 each time you need to get out of the area.
• Brenda (7/5): Complete mini apartment perfect for a short stay - The place was fully equipped, it was truly a mini apartment. Very clean. And the host was very kind and responsive: you can just message him in the booking app and he responds promptly. The area was a lovely non-touristic neighborhood. Would recommend! The place is really rather small. I would not want to stay here with another traveler for more than a few days, unless you really only use it to sleep.
• Gregory (8/5): It's OK if you are not expecting to do much at home and want to stay out and about. - It was very close to a train station. And the bed was large and comfortable. It was a very small space.
• Regine_s (8/5): Very good - Clear instructions was provided on how to check in / check out. The room has all the facilities required. It is like a mini apartment. This is a self check in hotel with no staff. There are many eateries nearby and I like the place (peaceful). Room a bit small but it has all the required facilities.
• Revill (10/5): Incredible, would recommend to everyone visiting Tokyo - An incredible place to stay during my visit to Tokyo. We were given instructions on how to collect keys, the host was amazing and gave us clear instructions on how to reach the apartment. When we got there, the room was so cute, the bed (we chose a futon) was so cosy. The room was clean and had everything we needed, we were able to wash our clothes and dry them with coat hangers provided. The apartment was incredible. The location was the best, it was a minute walk from the train station which was so convenient. There was a 7-eleven a minute away and a family mart next to the apartment too. If I was to visit Tokyo again I would 100 percent stay here again. Thank you to the host for an amazing place. I loved everything
• Mohammad (3/5): Uncomfortable and not value for money. - Not provided Uncomfortable and oversized mattress sticking out of the bed frame. Very small room and bathroom
• Darren (10/5): Exceptional - Accommodation has everything you'll need for a comfortable stay, like a washing machine with dryer function, equipment and cutlery for preparing meals and air conditioning with heater and dehumidifier function. Very good location with close access to amenities like a supermarket, places to eat and a train station a short walk away. Value for money Bathroom feels cramped as it has both bathtub and the toilet bowl. Shower/bath tap has dedicated hot/cold tap with very hot water so be careful when using it. You'll have to transfer trains at Ikebukuro station from the Seibu line to other lines to access Tokyo (about a 150m walk from the Seibu line to the entrance of JR lines) which'll add around 160yen of travel cost.
• John (7/5): Overall a pleasant enough stay for the price. Could be improved. - Location Size and external noise. Degree of mould due to poor use of ventilation by previous guests? Difficult to find initially.

• Sissilia (7/5): A memorablr stay - The location is really near the higasaki-nagasaki station. So convenient! The neighborhood is so peaceful and lovely. There is no elevator so its really hard to bring suitcase through the staircase if you got the 2nd floor

• Christian (10/5): Exceptional - Pretty good location, lots of amenities If you're a taller person you'll have difficulties fitting into the bunk bed as it is quite short
• Anonymous (10/5): clean and easy location - it was clean. Every material needed urgently was available. There is no place to throw garbage except the small garbage bin

• Davran (10/5): Exceptional - Very convenient location. 200 meters from Higashi-Nagasaki station. If you want to walk through the streets of Tokyo, then this is the place for you.
