• Lisa (2/5): Very Disappointing Experience. - Unfortunately we checked into the maisonette and within 2 hours we left. The facilities and amenities were not what was described in the description. The kitchenette was completely lacking. and the dining was non existent - literally no table or chairs in the property both in and outside. There was no shower as described and just a rail to hang a few clothes, no wardrobe of any kind or drawers/shelves to place your things. The only mirror was in the toilet. The mattress was dirty and stained and while laying on the bed for max 20 mins I got bitten on my stomach and my upper leg. Despite all this the property refused to give or offer any kind of refund. Very disappointing.

• Kayleigh (8/5): Comfortable stay close to the main attractions but you get what you pay for. - The property was in a fantastic location. We very much enjoyed the hot tub, the outdoor space was nice for unwinding after a day of exploration. Staff were very responsive when contacted. The room was fairly dated compared to the photos. We had a few days of wind which made the doors rattle a fair bit. And the floor was not cleaned very well. The main inconveniences were the lack of equipment in the kitchen. No sharp knives for cutting, no towel to dry dishes etc. It was very unclear where our rubbish was meant to go (very small kitchen bin)

Lasciano solo un cuscino a persona. In tutta la casa non c’è una sedia, comodino solo 1, l’altro gliel’ho sistemato io. Per un soggiorno di 5 notti hanno lasciato due asciugamani a persona. • Christina Kouloumbri (10/5): Ευχάριστη διαμονή στο κέντρο της Αθήνας - Ήταν όλα όπως το περιμέναμε! Το διαμέρισμα ήτανε πολύ καθαρό. Η περιοχή πολύ ήσυχη για τόσο κεντρικό σημείο στην Αθήνα,κάτι που το έκανε ακόμα πιο καλό. Εύκολη πρόσβαση στα μέσα μαζικής μεταφοράς και σε εστιατόρια, καφετέριες και κατάστημα.Το μπάνιο-υδρομασάζ ήτανε απόλυτα λειτουργικό, ακολουθώντας τις οδηγίες χρήσης του, κάτι το οποίο έδωσε ακόμα μία νότα χαλάρωσης στο επαγγελματικό μας ταξίδι. Δεν υπάρχει κάτι αρνητικό να πω.

• Charalampos (10/5): - Υπέροχη τοποθεσια-κοντα στο κέντρο και σε συγκοινωνία. Το προσωπικό πολύ ευγενικο και πρόθυμο να εξυπηρετήσει. Το ζεστό νερό ανεπαρκές. Χρειάζεται πολύς χρόνος ώστε να ζεσταθεί και να μπορέσουν να κάνουν μπάνιο 2 άτομα. Το τζακούζι (κυρίως για το οποίο κλείσαμε το συγκεκριμένο δωματιο) ήταν αρκετά προβληματικό. Έχανε νερό από την τάπα συνεχώς. Τα παράθυρα λόγω αέρα χτυπούσαν και έκαναν φασαρία, όπως και η πόρτα του δωματίου η οποία δεν έκλεινε. Ο τοίχος του μπάνιου είχε υγρασία πάνω. Τέλος, δεν υπήρχε κουζίνα η έστω κάποιο μάτι/εστια για να μπορέσουμε να μαγειρεψουμε. Συνολικά είναι ενα βολικό διαμέρισμα κοντά σε μαγαζιά και μέσα μαζικής μεταφορας, ωστόσο αξίζει να σημειωθεί ότι είναι περίεργης διαρρύθμισης και προχειρης ανακαίνισης.

Die Bettlaken waren zu klein. Über neue Matratzenschoner bzw. neue Matratzen kann nachgedacht werden. Es gab ein kleines Wäsche-/Klamotterrack, ein Schrank der für zwei Personen reicht wäre schön.

• Joseph (8/5): Lovely apartment not too far from acropolis! - A lovely spot only 15-20 minute walk from the acropolis. The apartment felt special and it was lovely to have a balcony as well as the large, private roof terrace to relax on. Whilst it does feel like this property is on the backstreets, we never felt unsafe. There are lots of steps to get upto the apartment (2nd floor), which then has more steps to get upto the roof terrace and bathroom, which may be difficult for some. Sadly the jacuzzi bath didn’t work during our stay. The staff were very responsive via booking.com but sadly this couldn’t be resolved during our stay. It would be nice if there was some storage for clothing / suitcases.

Late self check-in always a good thing. The stairwell smelled absolutely awful, just like in a cowshed. The strong smell of urine also seeped into the apartment. Our apartment was two floors, and the staircase took up a large part of the floor space. The kitchen had almost none of the basic necessities, such as a knife or a kitchen towel. A microwave and some kind of small dining table would have been a nice addition. There was very little counter space or places to hang things.

Don't understand why is it possible to have that smell. The flat is good but once you enter into the building you will understand this comment.

• Katie (7/5): Enjoyable! - The location was great, short walk away from the main parts, so felt quite safe & because of the distance it was actually very quiet area. The property generally was very clean & modern. We really did enjoy our time here. It would be useful to have tea towels to dry up & access to more pillows/ linens. I booked this place specifically for the hot tub, which appeared very clean, when using the jets some sort of limescale appeared and it just didn’t feel clean. It was quite disappointing as we booked this place specifically to use the hot tub. One thing that you likely cannot be changed, the mosquitos were quite a problem in Athens generally, but especially in the apartment. I would certainly take bug spray on a trip here again! There was quite a significant scent in the main hallway, luckily it didn’t come into the apartment. We thought it was the heat, or just being in a busy city, but local friends who came to meet us commented that it was not a normal smell to have and they felt it was quite overpowering.

• Greg (6/5): Quite ok for a short stay. Just a couple of small tweaks would go well. - Downstairs was nice, comfortable. Getting in was very easy. Reasonably handy to Koukaki shops etc. Uphill location so best to get a ride if you have heavy luggage. I’ll be constructive here, as I believe just a few little items would improve the property greatly: Bathroom needs better lighting, a hand towel hanger & toiletries shelf. Some shutters & doors a bit creaky, terrace door doesn’t close without locking from inside, bangs in wind. Stairwell A/c doesn’t work properly (turns on but doesn’t open vent to ‘swing’. A couple of long mirrors would be a welcome addition - 1 in the jacuzzi/shower room & 1 by the apartment entrance. Stairs & no lift didn’t really work for me but that’s not the apartment’s fault. Caution sign visible when descending stairs from upper level but not when going up - I hit my head! Kitchen: tea/coffee tray had 3 teabags & a few sachets of pepper, no coffee or sugar?! Quite strange. There’s a filter coffee maker so bring supplies if you wish to use it (I didn’t know about it but no biggy)

• Letizia (4/5): Mehr Schein als Sein - Es war in einer guten Lage, sauber, das Badezimmer recht schön und der check in einfach. Als erstes hat uns der Geruch in der Wohnung sehr negativ empfangen. Es hat stark nach rauch gerochen, so als wäre jahrelang in der Wohnung geraucht worden. Die Einrichtung ist schön, aber bei weitem nicht so hochwertig, wie es auf den Fotos aussieht. Der Whirlpool war eher nur laut, aber das Wasser hat nicht so geblubbert, wie man es von einem Whirlpool erwarten würde. Die Balkontür im Schlafzimmer ist defekt und lässt sich nicht richtig schließen. Neben dem Geruch nach Rauch hat uns sehr gestört, dass man für eine positive Bewertung 20% Rabatt auf den nächsten Aufenthalt angeboten bekommt, vielleicht kommen so die ganzen positiven Bewertungen zustande.

• Ηλίας (10/5): Συνιστάται! - Διαμονή στο διαμέρισμα με τη βεράντα για μία διανυκτέρευση. Το σπίτι ήταν καθαρό και προσεγμένο, η βεράντα ακριβώς όπως οι φωτογραφίες και με ωραία θέα. Το υδρομασάζ σε καλή κατάσταση και ευρύχωρο. Σε σχέση με παλαιότερες κριτικές, η καθαριότητα ήταν καλή και ζεστό νερό υπήρχε όλη τη μέρα αλλά και το βράδυ με boiler. Ως διαμέρισμα σε κάποια σημεία φέρει σημάδια παλαιότητας που χρήζουν επιδιόρθωσης, αλλά δεν επηρεάζουν ούτε υποβαθμίζουν την εμπειρία της διαμονής. Το προτείνω για ζευγάρια.

• Mariana (10/5): A great spacious and comfortable place to enjoy your time in Athens. - The location was amazing! Very close to the Acropolis of Athens and the underground, making it easy to reach other tourist attractions. There were many restaurants nearby, and the area felt safe overall. I think having a microwave would be helpful for quickly preparing or heating food, especially if you're staying for a short holiday. It also would have been nice to have something to dry the dishes. But overall, I totally recommend this place to stay!

• Samina (9/5): Huge apartment in a great location. Walking distance from the Acropolis. - The location was superb. Everywhere was within walking distance and there were shops and cafes nearby. The terrace was a real bonus so we could sit out and have a morning coffee. The apartment is huge! It was very clean and had everything we needed. The bathroom was also very modern and the jacuzzi bath was a treat!

• Bayan (10/5): Excellent!! - I was nothing short from lucky booking this stay for 3 nights in Athens. The staff were incredibly sweet and helpful. Argyris who i assume is the property manager was very helpful and responsive to all my queries. I booked 702 for two nights and 701 for one night and both rooms were cozy, spacious and clean. Pictures shared on Booking.com match the real thing. The apt is 7 minutes away on foot from Sygrou Fix metro station so by utilizing the metro system it was an easy transfer to each location i wanted to get to. You'd feel at home booking this stay, i definitely recommend it to anyone traveling to Athens. Tip: on the way to Sygrou Fix station there's a place called The Food Hall with variety of greek dishes and very reasonable prices, you can make use of it. Thank you again for your kind hospitality.
• Michail (10/5): Exceptional - By the time we entered the property, we were astonished with how big,clean and well preserved the suite was. The design, the location and especially the jacuzzi made it a perfect romantic/relaxing getaway for a couple. To top it off, by the time we entered the room we had a big bottle of wine waiting for us as a surprise from the staff. It really made us feel welcome and enjoy our time there even more.

The bed was really confortable and the TV had 4K and anything you would watch it looked amazing. The windows are a bit old and we had a windy day so we could hear everything. Also the bathtub closing system didn't work really well and the lighting of that room wasn't cozy.

• Gary902 (5/5): Great Location. Mediocre service. - Great location. Loved the patio. Very comfortable accommodations. The host was late sending me check-in info, so I was standing around in the street waiting for them to message me. We found dirty dishes laying around and the host asked me to clean it up myself, which was not what I planned on doing on my vacation. The fridge also leaked during our stay which I reported to the host but nothing seemed to be done about it. Overall, the accommodations were fine, but the service was disappointing.
• Sara (7/5): Great place that needs to be cared of a little bit more - The location was perfect (it’s a 10 minutes walk from plaka, the acropolis, and so many other things) and the host was very friendly and always at our disposal (also replied very fast) The remote check in and check out were very easy and fast. The bed and sofa were comfortable. Nice looking and cozy minimal apartment and nice terrace from where you can also see the acropolis. Even though we already knew, the apartment did not have enough forniture (microwave, pans, washing machine etc..). there was nothing more than a sample size soap (but there was soup to clean the dishes) The apartment is actually pretty but needs more attention to detail (for example fixing the doors and adding one where the hot tub is and fixing the electric shutter on the window near the bed, the shower needs maintenance) and more attention to cleaning (we found for example some hair on the bed) we loved the position, though it was very hard to find a parking place so i wouldn’t recommend renting a car (this has nothing to do with the host though)
