Troede at vi havde booket en stor lejlighed hvor vi alle 6 kunne bo - det var hvad der stod i beskrivelsen. I virkeligheden var det 2 separate lejligheder på hver sin etage. Det der betød noget for os var at vi kunne bo i samme lejlighed - hvad vi så ikke kom til.
• Anette (5/5): Stedet godt men lejlighed middelmådig til prisen. Vil ikke anbefales - Beliggenheden Tilpas stor lejlighed til 5 personer SoveSofa elendig ubrugbar Ingen var varmt vand i to dage. Køkkenvandhane i stykker. Toilebræt, bruser, stegepande i stykker. Ingen skuffer til tøj. Manglede velkomstpakke, toiletartikler manglede. Listen uendelig.

• Lisa (9/5): Location, location, location!! - We stayed in both apartments. Both are very large and have a lot of space. Gabriel was a great host and quick to respond to questions. We were able to store our luggage before official check in time which was fantastic because we arrived several hours before check in. The apartments have a beautiful terrace/balcony and in both apartments the AC works very well. The apartment couldn't be in a better location. Close to shopping, restaurants, metro, bus stops.
• Elena (10/5): Exceptional - The apartment is in a super strategic position for visiting Athens, Also with children (We have 7, 5 and 2 years). We travel with Friends and book two apartments: all of wich nicely rennoveted (i like in particulary how they preserved some elements like floor). Near the apartments are a lot of bar, restaurant and very beautiful little square where you can enjoy the greek vibes. Gabriel is a very kind host!

• Adrienne (9/5): Good location. - The location was great. A few block walk to tons of restaurants and shops. The porch was pleasant for sitting outside in the evening. View of pedestrian street below, but not noteworthy. Large size apartment. Very clean. About 60 stairs to get to the apartment, with no elevator. Good workout with luggage. No in person communication with the owner, but enough messages to get all the info you need. Parking ramp two blocks away. We spent an hour waiting to get a spot in the ramp midday on a weekday. 42 Euros for a three night stay. We never moved the car, just walked or took the train. The toilet right in the shower area was odd but was functional. Would recommend staying here to others.

• Maria (3/5): Not recommended for anyone looking to rest at nights. - Relatively central location. Horrible noise. It comes from several sources. At nights it comes from nearby taverns that open late at night and have live music. After closing people keep singing, yelling, screaming. There is noise all night long. Another source of noise is entrance door. It is heavy, made of metal and every time someone close it it bangs and shakes the entire building. It happens all day long. Lastly, despite called pedestrian, this street is anything but pedestrian and cars are not the noisiest, motorcycle and mopeds are. If you need fortnight of sleep stay away from this apartment.

The apartment was neatly kept and met all of our needs, and the location was perfect walking distance to all the sites. All of the assistance with coordinating transport was also so appreciated. The property has recently been renovated but a few but a couple of items need repaired (kitchen tap & shower rose) hopefully these issue will be resolved soon.

• Janine (2/5): DO NOT STAY- dirty, uncomfortable and unpleasant. - The location was the only positive to staying here This place is filthy. There was a puddle of water on the floor of mysterious origin. There are steep circular stairs that you have to drag your bag up in order to get upstairs. The sheets are scratchy, old and faded to gray. The towels feel more like an old mop or a scrub brush than a towel. After many many stays around Greece and all over Europe, this is the only negative review I have ever left. The host accused me of trying to get a free rental because of my dissatisfaction. I made reservations for a group of 15 people in the neighborhood, and this was the only unit we rented that we were unhappy with. We stayed for 3 nights and they didn't allow me to make a review on that unit. So I am using the 2nd reservation that we had which was for an upstairs unit, which was not much better
• Janine (2/5): DO NOT STAY- unpleasant, uncomfortable and not clean. - This place is uncomfortable, and the sheets are gray and scratchy. The towels feel like scrub brushes. There was a puddle of water on the floor that appeared out of nowhere. There is a filthy circular staircase that you have to drag your bag up in order to get to the apartment. When I tried to discuss my dissatisfaction, the owner's representative accused me of trying to get a free stay. They pretend to be interested in how things are going for you, but they do not care.
• Adam (7/5): Location is excellent. - Location is excellent. Beds nice. Perfectly adequate place to stay that is close to all important sites. Nice balcony. Just needs some minor upgrades. Several dining chairs were broken. Microwave broken and looked pretty beat up. A few extra towels would be good. There were some ants upstairs.
• Jennifer (10/5): We loved this quiet, cute apartment for our brief trip to explore the Acropolis and other sites of historic Athens! It h - Perfect location for exploring historic Athens, but still tucked away from the busiest and most bustling areas. Nicely appointed, clean, cute. Coffee shops, restaurants very close by. Owner Gabriel was extremely responsive, kind, communicative and accommodating. We liked everything! Just be aware it is a walk up apartment.
• Paul (10/5): Excellent apartment, in the centre of Athens. - The location was excellent, with lots of bars / restaurants within 5 mins walk and also close to the Metro. The accommodation was clean and had all the amenities that I required The only slight downside is that I thought that the 2 apartments were interconnected and instead they were 2 separate apartments. It would also have been nice to have a lift especially when bringing suitcases upstairs. On the whole we really enjoyed the apartment.
• Jared (10/5): Our family's great home base for walking tours of Athens - Everything was great, easy, clean, and nicely furnished. Simple booking, great communication, easy to find and centrally located to Athens/Acropolis area and more places to walk than you could do in days. Super-clean updated spaces with nice touches in furnishings and amount of in-unit stock of small appliances, dishes, etc. Great communication with host, who communicated proactively and clearly (they have great little manuals in the room that describe any question you could possibly have). Overall 11/10. This is like a clinic in how to run a rental. Would never consider anything else when in Athens. Literally nothing. This is a walk-up apartment/condo but it's a fine wide set of stable steps.

Host gave good recommendations and was easy to work with. There are stairs to go up, but this is very clear in the description. The bathroom could be better. The floor was always wet and it's a little outdated

Our host (Gabriel) went out of his way to ensure he answered all questions and provided items like an iron in our apartment. He also provided a great listing of nearby restaurants! We were allowed to check in early;12:30, which was great. We forgot that in Europe a 2nd floor apartment really means you are on the 3rd floor.... so lots of stairs!

Gabriel, the manager, is very helpful. He sent out all the info on how to turn on hot water heater ,air conditioner and sofa bed in advance which makes life a lot easier. He also recommended restaurants around the area. Very helpful. Thanks Gabriel. Check in/out is easy. Highly recommend the apartment. The only problem we have is to carry the luggages up 3 flight of floors especially for us seniors. But it's an old building, nothing can be done to improve it. The appliances are little bit too old. Would be nice replaced by a more up to date equipments.
• Eleanor (9/5): Well located, large apartments - Good sized, clean, air conditioned apartments that fitted our whole group comfortably. Perfect location, lots of lovely restaurants and bars nearby and easy walking distance to all the main sights. The communication with, and information provided by Gabriel was excellent, and he was extremely helpful when we had a change of plans on our holiday. Be aware there are quite a few steps up to the apartment and it's not the quietest street (but you are in the middle of Athens).
• Kr (9/5): Family of 5 took both apartments for 4 days and were very comfortable in a great location. - Great location, excellent aircon. Larger apartment excellent shower. Outdoor spaces good. Loads plugs and efficient wifi. Generally spacious and comfortable. Good communication with Gabriel. Only downside was bathroom in top floor flat v small, shower flooded and didn't drain properly no matter how careful we were! Stairs might prove challenging for older visitors.

The Athens Historic Apartment didn't have elevators so if you're older or have a lot of luggage i would not recommended since the hike up the stairs was a lot. But they have another apartment with an elevator.

• Mia (9/5): Very good stay. Close to the roof top bar “A for Athens” which was a once in a lifetime view of the Acropolis at night. - We were travelling with 5 teens and ourselves, 2 parents. We needed 2 rooms. This location met our needs perfectly. It was extremely clean and crazy close to lots of great places to eat and grab drinks. The best is the proximity to the city centre and Monteseraki subway, which was how we got to the port to head to the islands. The teens had zero complaints. Neither did we. The owner was super helpful and kind. Nothing was lacking. Very good stay. Very reasonably priced for 7!

• Ikarian_girl (3/5): Poor - We wanted to be in the centre of Athens, so the location was ideal for us. the appartment wasnt clean. I opened the cabinet under the kitchen sink and there was a carton box that contained cleaning product was wet and all the powder was spilt on the cabinet floor. our daughter was 8 1/2 months at the time and she had just started crawling. her travel cot had no sheet, when i messaged the owner he said they used to put a sheet on the travel cot, but because most parents brought their own, they stopped putiing it - i guess i am not a good parent.. also no towel for the little one. Thankfully my sister who lives near by, brought us one. My fiance wanted to use a 2nd pillow, no extra pillow cases either. i was sitting in the table and i saw a massive fluff under the sofa...again i contacted the owner and he said he uses a cleaning crew and someone checks after the crew finishes cleaning...the flat was on the 3rd floor, no lift (but we did know about that), so we wanted to have a shower as soon as we checked in, the bathroom floor flooded... the owner said it was a construction fault and to use the floor mat... again, we were given 1 set of towels each and A floor mat, so if one of us would have a shower, the other one would have to wait for the floor mat to dry a little bit, cause the amount of water was coming out of the shower drain was coming out the bathrrom door. we stayed at the appartment for 3 nights, the WiFi for a day and a half wasnt working but at that point i didnt even care and we used our data.

• Goretti (9/5): Superb - Easy instructions from host about getting into the apartment. It is located in a central location in Athens so we were able to easily walk to different neighborhoods to explore. I would recommend this place to others if they are coming to Greece. We didn't have instructions for the washer in the apartment and the labels were in Greek so some difficulty translating but not terrible.

• Ljh (10/5): Great place to stay and we recomment this appartment if you visit Athens. - We booked both appartments with total of 6 persons. The top (smallest) appartment (One bedroom and sofa-bed) had a big balcony where we all had our breakfast in the sun, very nice. It was great that we could access the doors with a code, so we did not have take the keys with us. The beds were very good to sleep on. All rooms have electrical blinds, so all rooms can be darkened completely, great ! The bathroom and shower in the bottom appartment was big, but in the top appartment is the shower was quite small, but for us that was not problem. The rooms can be reached by decent wide stairs, note that if you cannot climb stairs you are in trouble, but that will be also a problem for the whole of Athenes city. It was also situated close to the center of Athens, so it was the perfect place to stay for us. Across the street, some meters away, there is a bar which you can hear a little bit. They close at 00.00u, but on saturday they are open till 02.00u-02.30u. So you might bring some earplugs if you are sensitive for outside noises.
• Stefan (8/5): Very good - Location is super central and walking distance to thé restaurant area close to the acropolis. We didn’t have to use metro or taxi for the 3 days of our stay. The interior is very pleasant and Gabriel the landlord super flexible and responsive.
