- cassie (7/5): Great location for first timers - awesome sized apartment. - Amazing location, super close to the major attractions, beautiful view and friendly neighbourhood! First timers to Japan this was awesome.
Great size apartment for Japan
Good to have a washing machine Bed was so hard, mattress topper provided was good and made it bearable but it was stained and the bedding and pillows really needs updating it’s worn and marked.
Bathroom floods as it does not have a curtain.
Honestly if this place had updated bedding linen, and a nice shower curtain I would book it again.
- Haroon (8/5): Great location with lots of space for the area - Great location and space for the area. Little kitchen was really useful to cook some breakfast. The bed is very hard and the blinds were broken and let light in
- 吉田 (9/5): スリリング - 広かった
眺めがよかった 夜道が怖かった
シャワーカーテンが欲しかった
- Peilin (8/5): - 地點很好,環境舒適 洗澡水有點小
- CHIENYU (4/5): - The bed is uneven and the bathroom lacks a separate wet and dry area.
- Jackson (10/5): Fantastic base for exploring tokyo very spacious - Very spacious for japan with great views. have stayed before and would stay again. Perfect as close to Shinjuku only one stop away. but a bit quieter still great restaurants nearby nothing
- Danté (10/5): - Very close to the shinjuku and provides everything you need Nothing
- Andre (10/5): Top Location to explore Tokyo. - Very nice and fast contact. 10 minutes walk to Shinjuku Station. 2 minutes to Okubo Station. Fantastic view! /

- Sigi (2/5): Dissapointed, got no sleep at all, bad experience with host. - The location is good The facilities was not to our liking, we could hear the entire neighbourhood and neighbours through the thin walls, ambulances all night long, There is no insulation at all. The bed was hard as a rock, it was our fourth bed in japan so it's not just the "Japanese style beds". In summery, we couldn't get any sleep.
When we reached out to the host, the only solution he suggested was to use the folding foam mattress in the closet, which was irrelevant. There was no address to the noise issues.
When we realised we needed a different place to stay in order to get some sleep, we kindly asked to cancel 3 out of 5 nights, we only stayed one night, and thought paying for an extra night would be fair. At first the host didn't want to give us anything, but then he said he can give us half a refund for three nights in exchange for a 10 star review.
We were shocked and declined because it was morally uncomfortable for us to do this. We didn't get any refund even though we left after one night.

- Alicia (9/5): Great location, space and home feeling! - A little home away from home. Has everything you need, spacious, great location, easy check in process. About a 15-20 minute walk to the heart of Shinjuku, train stations 5 minutes away and easy to navigate. Elevator up to the 10th floor was awesome. - the shower / bath leaks quiet a bit causing a puddle/smell in the bathroom, this didn’t affect our trip at all.
- Tess (2/5): Horrible - The other peoples reviews We had a very unfortunate stay at this accommodation. After returning to the apartment, we noticed a strong and unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom. Upon closer inspection, we discovered black mold had accumulated underneath the bathtub. When we informed the host, he offered to let us cancel our second night and receive a refund for that night. However, we were still charged for the first night, even though the bathroom was unusable due to the severe odor and unhealthy conditions. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience that ruined our last day in Tokyo.

Minimal düzeyde her ihtiyacımız vardı. Şiddetle tavsiye edebileceğimiz bir tesis.
- Rui (10/5): Exceptional -
- Scott (9/5): Superb -
- Leigh-ann (8/5): Very good - Location, having our own space and a little deck -
- Yifat (9/5): Comfortable apartment in Shinjuku - Great location near two major metro stations. The apartment was comfortable and quiet. We enjoyed having a "home" in the big city. Walking distance from lots of restaurants, bars, and attractions. (minor) water from the shower makes a puddle on the floor because there is no curtain.
- Jackson (10/5): One of the best places i've stayed in tokyo. Would try and book again instantly if going back. - Amazing location and extremely spacious by tokyo standards. View from both sides is very impressive. The ideal base for exploring busy tokyo. Very clear entry instructions sent from the host/.
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional -
- Darryl (4/5): Just a room with a bed. Overpriced. - the room was spacious It was very drafty, so always cold. There is an airco, but it is not nice to have an airco blowing at max all night. This makes you feel extremely dried out in the mornings and doesn't feel environment friendly. There was black stuff coming out of the bath tap when filling the bath. The owner is very particular in only having one towel per person. This is a bit weird to me, especially since there is also no small towel to dry your hands in the kitchen after washing them. also most women like an extra towel for their hair. The owner was clear about this up front, but it is still super weird to me, what is the hassle of washing 2 or three extra (small) towels?
for this lack of "luxury" I think the appartment was way overpriced.
- Kylie (7/5): Great place, but needs some attention - Great location No cutlery, no tea towels, no shower curtain
- Josiah (8/5): Very good -
- Paulina (9/5): Superb -
- Derrek (9/5): Superb - Stunning views from the balcony and outside. Spacious for Tokyo, excellent value, close to subway lines. Bed was a bit firm, but typical for Japan.
- Sevasti (9/5): Superb - Room was very spacious and had all the amenities that you need. The shower was a bit difficult in the bath and getting in and out.
- Mark (10/5): Exceptional - Great looking place in close proximity to Shin Okubo (little Korea town) No coffee or tea provided
- Troy (10/5): Great way to spend a week in Tokyo. Would stay again. - Quiet and had everything you would need. Very close to the train station Nothing
- Genevieve (9/5): Very comfortable, roomy apartment in a great location. - A lovely clean apartment with lots of space for one or two people. Great position in walking distance to Shinjuku Station and Kabukicho. The bed is firm (very common in Japan) which I like but other people may prefer softer, maybe the owner could think about a mattress topper? The washing machine and dryer on the balcony were greatly appreciated. Overall, I was extremely happy and will definitely hope to stay here again. The sofa no longer has legs, so is very low. Hard for someone of my age with my bad back to get out of, so I hardly used it. The TV has no access to streaming services, just local tv channels. So if you want to use a streaming service, bring an HDMI cable so you can connect your tablet/ laptop.
- Imaacervivor (10/5): BEST HIDDEN GEM IN SHINJUKU! - We enjoyed our stay very much. This was a hidden gem about 12-15 minutes walk to Shinjuku center or only 1 train stop away from Okubo (yellow line). Only a 3 minute walk to Okubo station, closest to apartment or Shin Okubo JR (green line) about an 8 minute walk to station. You can get to Shinjuku, Shibuya or Harajuku with minutes. So convenient and you're not in the "noise" of the city so we had a peaceful sleep aside from some ambulance some nights. And, of course, access to 7/11, Family Mart and Don Quixote open 24 hours. Also, a small outdoor thrift store that was selling clothes starting at 300 yen.:-)
The apartment itself was excellent and had all the amenities you can imagine. A mini kitchen, spacious, modern bathroom with bidet and soaking tub. Eating bar, futon, Hair dryer, cooking utensils, fridge, rice cooker, kettle, iron, AC unit, washer and dryer outside and the bathroom can also function as a clothes dryer & much more. Although, we did not meet the host in person, they gave us clear instructions on how to enter apartment, instructions on how to use utilities & they were always prompt in messaging if we had questions. This was definitely the best stay in Japan. We felt like "home". We would definitely be back. The value and space and amenities beats the average Japanese hotels. Everything was great but, if we have to point out 2 things, maybe more towels and hand towels. It didn't really matter too much because we washed our towels and made it work. We only had 2 pillows but, made it work also. It was big plus to have the washer & dryer to clean our towels, sheets and clothes. Just to point out, our stay was excellent 👌 👍 and we are grateful to have this experience in Shinjuku 1003.
- Zeyu (10/5): Great view, comfortable stay, clean room - Great view, comfortable stay, clean room. Bed was a little hard and out of my normal comfort zone.
- Lai (6/5): Pleasant - location is good. The bath room need a lot of improvement. upgrade to shower.
- Anthony (10/5): Cosy and quite a relaxing feel. - Just had everything you needed for a small flat.. There was nothing to dislike about the property!!
- Anna (7/5): Great location - lots of places to eat and close to transport. - Pros:
- there is wifi, it's just not listed in booking.com
-We had no neighbour problems or noise.
- the balcony door is lockable
- the bed is comfortable (but it is a small double)
- the washing machine is really good
- great bidet toilet!
- the bathroom is a wet room; just to note this
- the 2 burner gas cooktop was very handy. We thought it wasn't working, but the gas just took a long time to initially flow through
- the apartment is a good size and has all amenities.
- great location, lots of places to eat and super close to everything, including transport.
- The apartment does look tired but if it received some TLC, it would go from being good to great. Cons:
-instructions for the washing machine and air con didn't match the equipment.
-no tea towels or paper towels provided for wiping up (drying racks in cupboards aren't practical and don't drain anywhere);
-the drains in the bathroom and kitchen are really slow;
- no pegs provided for hanging washing;
- only one extra pillow provided.
- it would have been good to have a lightweight blanket;
- frypan too scratched to use without buying baking paper to line it.
-The lounge is stained. It's not comfortable as it sits on the floor. In the picture, it has legs, but at some stage, they must've been broken and removed.
- There is a lot of traffic noise; but that's for everybody living here!
-the shower curtain needs replacing
- Kin (4/5): Disappointing - The building looks unsafe
- Anonymous (8/5): Generally it is ok and we would like to share this contact with our friends if they go to Tokyo - Cleanness level is ok Bath tub, dripping at the side cuz it is an add on
Sofa, not clean enough - hairy on it
- Yong (9/5): Superb -
