- Anna (10/5): Lloc ideal per uns dies a Tokio. - Molt agradable, en un barri molt tranquil i amb tots els serveis necessaris
El propietari molt atent. Comunicació fàcil
- Konstantin (10/5): - The perfect place to stay in Tokyo. The apartment is very clean, has its own kitchen, bathroom, and plenty of space compared to other options in the city. The futons were comfortable to sleep on, and I loved the location. The nearest metro station is a five-minute walk away. The area is quiet, without the crowds of tourists.

- Eric Cheun (7/5): good value for price, convenient location, responsive and great host - host was very responsive and nice, location is very ideal and close to nezu station, which is accessible to other parts of Tokyo. The unit is on the 2nd floor and the host lives on the 3rd floor. Because the stairs are narrow, the host will carry your luggage up to the unit for you. the place is a bit dated, but you get what you pay for. the bed was very thin and uncomfortable and the duvet was synthetic and not breathable at all. we both woke up in sweat, even with the AC on throughout the night. The AC had some black mold spots inside, not sure if is common with the humidity of the climate..
- Soon (4/5): It’s in a good location, clean, spacious but noisy and slightly uncomfortable - It has more space compared to hotels and it’s easier to access in and out of it. The apartment has a toilet, bathtub for shower and a small kitchen area if you need to cook some food. The room is equipped with a dressing cabinet for clothes & luggage compartment and two floor mats with a pillow each and blanket. There is a sofa and a coffee table in the room. This room is located on the second floor and there are 3 floors for this building. Location wise, it’s in a nice quiet town and there are some restaurants and cafes nearby. There will also be a walking guide that’s provided from the host that’s available in the room. I chose to booking this through booking.com instead of a hotel hoping to have a quiet stay. By quiet, I mean I do not want to hear noises like other guests walking, slamming doors, and making other noises. It didn’t reach my expectations for this stay as I could hear footsteps next door and above the room the whole night and other noises like people waking (every single footstep), window closing, moving of furnitures and many others. This is because the structure is not a solid thick concrete but I think it’s a mixture of thin concrete plus wooden build. The walls are thin and not made of concrete too. That’s why I could hear everything. The owner lives there and he could be either downstairs below or 3rd floor above the room. There is also a permanent resident next door in room 202 (2 people living there). I’m sorry to say this but I dislike these kind of noise. Hotels will be a better choice if you are like me. The mattresses are quite thin therefore you could feel the hardness of the floor and the pillows for your head can be flattened very much and doesn’t give any support for the head and that makes it very uncomfortable.

- Kirstin (10/5): A home away from home at the heart of a traditional Tokyo Neighbourhood - From beginning to end the process was well-managed and efficient. The host sent plenty of information in advance, including maps and directions in Japanese for a taxi driver to locate the apartment. This is incredibly helpful as, particularly in the older parts of Tokyo, access to the streets can be complicated.
The apartment was spotlessly clean, with towels and hairdryer, kettle, micowave, fridge, cutlery and basic kitchenware. When I said I would cook, Namio's wife brought me a larger pot and other utensils.
The apartment is in a neighbourhood which has plenty of traditional little restaurants, and shops. Within 3 minutes you are onto a bustling main street with supermarkets, chemists, bars, etc.
I love walking and the location allowed me to easily get to the places I wanted, such as Nezu Shrine, Yanaka, Ueno Park and the national art galleries and museums, within 15 minutes on foot. This meant I discovered a lot of interesting little nooks and crannies, such as the tiny shrine an old lady set to her cat, curiosity shops, and traditional vendors. There are multiple train stations within 5 -15 minutes walk. I was flying into Narita and the Skyliner goes directly from the terminal to Keisei Ueno Station, which is a 15 minute walk away from the apartment.
I also liked that because this was a residential neighbourhood, I got on nodding terms with people over the ten days I was there and didn't feel like a tourist. I have no complaints at all.
- Francesco (9/5): Superb -
- Betina (10/5): Exceptional - Location is very convenient. Not very busy, but a lot of good things nearby. Host speaks english and is very accommodating.
- Nathan (8/5): Great little place away from the bustle of the city - Namio (the owner) is great. He was friendly and accomodating, and provided us with recommendations for activities and restaurants in the area. The location is a great base of operations for sightseeing in the northern part of Tokyo. The bedroom/living area is a great size. The kitchen and bathroom are a bit cramped, but this didn't really bother us too much as we dined out. We were able to store our bags after checkout so that we could walk around easier. As this is in a mostly residential area, there aren't a lot of places open in the late evening (~8-9pm). You might need to travel a bit for some nightlife.
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional - we loved everything about our stay! namio was extremely helpful and friendly. he gave us amazing tips. the apartment itself is perfect and the area great too. we can’t wait to come back
- Fabienne (8/5): Very good - Very nice little appartment in a great location. Calm and clean. The owners are very generous and helpful.
