• Heike (9/5): Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und die Terasse mit Ausblick auf die Acropolis sehr genossen! Sehr zu empfehlen! - Die Wohnung ist ruhig, sehr gut gelegen und mit der Terasse (umgehend, sodass immer auch Schatten verfügbar ist, neben zwei Sonnendächern) einfach traumhaft! Check-in war unkompliziert, die Vermieterin sehr freundlich und immer sehr schnell erreichbar. Die Betten sind sehr bequem und uns hat es an nichts gefehlt! Die Wohnung ist fussläufig zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten und in einem sehr netten Wohnquartier, wo wir abends schön essen gehen konnten (fernab der Touri-Restaurants, authentisch und sehr lecker!). • Christelle (10/5): A recommander! - L'appartement est très bien situé dans un quartier un peu retiré de la partie touristique donc très calme et à la fois proche du métro (6 mn à pied). L'immeuble très propre est silencieux de jour comme de nuit. Quelques commerces de base aux alentours pour de bons petits plats grecs à emporter et un petit restaurant en face très bon et abordable. La terrasse est très grande au dernier étage (avec ascenseur) avec belle vue sur l'Acropole. L'appartement n'est pas très grand mais suffisant pour 2 personnes. La cuisine est bien équipée, il manquerait juste un micro-ondes. Et, surtout, Maria a toujours été très gentille et très réactive à toutes nos demandes, elle nous avait bien préparé l' appartement. Nous recommandons complètement! Manque un micro-ondes
• Piotr (8/5): Wyjątkowy klimat i bardzo dobra lokalizacja - Mieszkanie ma wyjątkowy klimat i bardzo dobrą lokalizację — większość głównych atrakcji można osiągnąć spacerem w około 30 minut. Dużym atutem jest przestronna sypialnia z bardzo wygodnym, dużym łóżkiem oraz taras z pięknym widokiem na Akropol, idealny na śniadanie lub odpoczynek po całym dniu zwiedzania. Na plus zasługuje również bezkontaktowe zameldowanie, które dla wielu osób będzie wygodnym rozwiązaniem, choć część gości może odczuwać brak osobistego kontaktu z właścicielem. W mieszkaniu czekały na nas drobne udogodnienia: butelka wody, czarna herbata oraz duży wybór kawy (kapsułki, kawa sypana i w saszetkach). Kuchnia jest osobnym pomieszczeniem i została wyposażona w sporą liczbę naczyń oraz akcesoriów. W pobliżu znajdują się sklepy, supermarket, dwie piekarnio-cukiernie oraz bardzo dobra tawerna rybna po drugiej stronie ulicy. Doceniamy także możliwość późnego wymeldowania, dzięki której mogliśmy jeszcze skorzystać z tarasu przed dalszą częścią podróży. Kontakt z właścicielką/opiekunką mieszkania był dobry, szczególnie w kwestiach technicznych, takich jak obsługa ogrzewania czy podgrzewania wody. Warto jednak przygotować czytelną instrukcję dla gości — np. dotyczącą włączania bojlera, klimatyzacji czy ogrzewania — co zwiększyłoby komfort pobytu i ograniczyło liczbę pytań. Niektóre rozwiązania są bowiem mało intuicyjne, np. konieczność podłączenia wtyczki przy stoliku nocnym, aby uruchomić klimatyzator. Czysta pościel (poza kocem) oraz czyste widoczne elementy mieszkania. Choć na pierwszy rzut oka mieszkanie sprawia bardzo dobre wrażenie, przy dłuższym pobycie widać, że wymaga większej dbałości o detale oraz lepszego nadzoru nad firmą sprzątającą. Sprzątanie było niedokładne — zabrudzony stół na tarasie, kurz pod łóżkiem, brudne ramy okien, markizy czy miejsca mniej widoczne, np. przy lodówce. Brudny piekarnik. Dużym minusem był również niewyprany koc używany zamiast kołdry. Dla alergika jest to duży problem. W salonie, który pełni jednocześnie funkcję przedpokoju, brakuje podstawowych elementów wyposażenia, takich jak wieszak na kurtki czy niewielki stół z krzesłami. Przy gorszej pogodzie trudno było komfortowo zjeść śniadanie wewnątrz mieszkania. Kuchnia mogłaby być lepiej wyposażona — brakowało garnka, rondelka, noża kuchennego, deski do krojenia czy durszlaka, a dostępna była jedynie jedna patelnia. Przydałby się również ręcznik kuchenny aby wytrzeć mokry blat po myciu naczyń. Warto też usunąć drobne usterki techniczne, takie jak brak blokady drzwi balkonowych w salonie, uszkodzenia podłogi w kuchni czy źle zamocowany skraplacz klimatyzatora na tarasie, który podczas wiatru hałasował w nocy i nas budził. Mimo wskazanych niedociągnięć pobyt oceniamy pozytywnie, głównie dzięki lokalizacji, atmosferze mieszkania i wyjątkowemu tarasowi. Wprowadzenie kilku stosunkowo niewielkich poprawek mogłoby znacząco podnieść komfort przyszłych gości. Chętnie wrócimy ponownie za kilka lat i mamy nadzieję, że wspomniane kwestie zostaną wtedy dopracowane.

• Gabriele (8/5): Cute apartment in a great location with a view - The apartment is located in a great spot. The bedrrom is large and the bed is both large and confortable. There is a very big terrace from which you can see the Acropolis (not close but definitely in sight). In the evening and at night the view is fantastic. The kitchen is rather small, and the dining room is definitely small. The dining table is in the terrace so if you visit in the cold season (like me) you can't really use it.

• Dr Karen (2/5): A stay I will definitely not recommend. There r nice/reasonable price hotels around Plaka area. - 1. The apartment has a good acropolis view. 2. Minimart is nearby. Very nice shopkeeper. 3. Restaurant opposite has nice food and friendly owner 4. The host Maria is responsive but I think she is not aware of the true condition of the apartment and hence her reply. 1. I let u judge the reply fr the host and the pictures for comparison. 2. The “blanket” given for the sofa bed was bed sheet I called back home. 3. My daughter endured 4 nights of cold with the bed sheet as the air con & heater was not working as it keeps tripping 4. Kitchen light was out throughout our stay as we remain understanding as there are no electrician during PH. 5. I found some so called blankets tucked on top of the cupboards but decided not to touch them due to their dirty condition. 6. The water heater and stove is always off and need to be on only from the fuse box. I guess that’s why it keep tripping. Overall a very old building.
• Daniel (8/5): Angenehmer Aufenthalt - The host, ‘Maria’, was really very kind and kept offering her help. Thank you for that. The flat had a great view and everything we needed. The location was also very good. We felt safe. Actually, there was just one thing we didn’t think was great. The cleanliness of the floor and in the corners could do with some improvement. But that surely shouldn’t be a problem to sort out. We just overlooked it for the few days we were there.
• Britta (10/5): Super Gastgeberin und überragende Aussicht - Einfacher Check-In via Schlüsselbox. Besonders nett war der Kontakt zu der Gastgeberin, sie hat immer gefragt ob wir noch etwas bräuchten. Toll war, dass wir schon etwas früher ins Apartment konnten und auch unsere Koffer bis zum Nachmittag am Tag des Check-Outs im Apartment lassen konnten, da unser Flug erst am Abend ging. Atemberaubend war natürlich auch die riesige Dachterasse mit Blick auf die Akropolis.

• Robin (7/5): - Amazing wide terrace with a clear and really lovely view of the Acropolis. We even found the terrace wrapped around the other side of the apartment where there is another view of a church which is floodlit at night. The washing machine saved us trips to the laundromat. Not a touristy but an interesting neighbourhood which needs some adjustment to, but it felt safe in the day and at night. Central for the Acropolis and museums. Only 8-10 minutes from the metro at Neos Kosmos. 'Elegance' is doing some hard work here as the apartment is in need of a lick of paint. It's very tired and it could look much better. The neighbourhood is not touristy (and all the better for it) and takes a couple of days to get used to. Hot water and cooker were switched off on the circuit breaker board and water was running cold until we checked this. Not serviced during our 4 day stay.

Good place to stay in Athens far enough from city center to be pretty quiet but not so far to spend too much time getting main places if you want to cook some meals at home like eggs or bacon or halumi, there is no frying pan. However it was not really big problem

No kettle, 2 coffee machines, limescale on dish drainer, no cleaning cloths in kitchen no t towel. Towels like sandpaper

The apartment has useful appliances. Location is great. The furnishings are minimalist and a comfortable arm chair, cushions, lamp in sitting area would make a big difference. The relatively small double bed in a large bedroom could be bigger or there is an option to have a small single bed in the room.

• Yara (9/5): Perfect location, gorgeous view from balcony - The balcony was very big, very pleasant surprise. The location was also perfect, just around a 10/15 minute walk. Supermarket was around the corner. With all the walking that we did in Athene we were very happy with the elevator. Also the communication with Maria was perfect, fast replies and very helpful. The streets around the appartement aren't the cleanest nor the prettiest. But we knew that, so it was no big deal for us.
• Helen (10/5): Superb booking - Super apartment with everything you need for your stay. 5th floor with a fantastic view of the Acropolis. Outdoor space was very unexpected, weather was great so we could sit out in the evenings. Maria was so helpful, access to apartment using a key safe code, there is a lift for those who don't want to take the stairs after a day of exploring. Maria left us a useful map and was on hand at all times. Mini supermarket just across the street, Sweet Baker no more than 10 mins, lovely fresh baked bread and cookies (highly recommend) Approx 20 mins from Acropolis, 25 mins to Ancient Agora, 30 mins to Olympic Stadium ~ We like to stay on the outskirts and walk everywhere and we did just that, exploring lots of the little streets. We also booked airport transfer through booking.com - watch out for the deals, we got a great one, had never used the service before! Our driver was brilliant 🤩 Enjoy your stay! We did

• Sissy (10/5): Exceptional - The apartment is in five minutes walking distance from metro "neos kosmos" meaning totally close to the heart of Athens. Very quiet neighborhood amazing acropolis view! The apartment was also very clean and you could even smell it! The bed is super comfortable also! Although it was clean the floor it was dusty. I think a mini renovation is definitely needed.

The hospitality & attentiveness of both hosts, Maria & Simone...it's really helpful, welcoming and friendly....what greats hosts they were. 3. The apartment is within 8 mins of nearest tram & metro station. We took daily ticket pass and got to see the beauty of Greece. 4. Close to Acropolis, Plaka, Museums, Stadium Panathenaic & other places we'd like to go, awesome. Perhaps just the kettle that broke down the day before we left. So i miss 1 day of drinking coffee while enjoying Acropolis view 😊

• Diana (10/5): It was a lovely stay - Loved it. The place has an amazing huge terrace with a breathtaking view of the Acropolis that strikes you as you walk in. The place is super cosy and is equipped with everything one needs, perfect for a couple. There is a grocery store just outside and many really good restaurants within walking distance( I recommend Lolos) and also 20 minutes away from the centre. The host was extremely nice and helpful . Would definitely come back. 10/10 We liked everything.

The location is unbeatable, with everything you could want just a short walk away, including a metro station and numerous iconic sights. The apartment itself was impeccably clean and had a wonderful, fresh scent upon arrival. It was fully equipped with all the amenities I needed, making my stay extremely comfortable. The highlight, however, was the stunning, full view of the Acropolis. Maria, who manages the apartment, was incredibly professional, kind, and always willing to help. She went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable and even allowed us to have a late checkout at no extra charge, which was greatly appreciated. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Athens!

Everything you need to see is on the walking distance.Owner was polite and friendly. Apartment was really dirty as shown on the pictures. When we came in we found traces of feces in toilet, windows and kitchen were greasy and there was mold in the shower. Definitely won't recommend.

Brand new towels should be washed before use, lots of blue fluff everywhere from the towels. We were only staying two nights so couldn’t wash and dry them ourselves.

Host was responsive. I would stay again Having a washing machine is a great facility however there is no detergent, so I assume every guest has to purchase this for a short stay. However there is a shop across the road so that was easy to do.

• Sarah (10/5): Perfect stay in Athens in a beautiful apartment with stunning views. - Exceptional apartment! Clean, had everything we needed and the views from terrace were stunning! The owner, Maria, is fantastic - responsive to questions, helpful and friendly. This was our first stay in Athens and we were overwhelmed with the amount of choice of properties - but we struck lucky with this apartment, it couldn’t have been better and we would book it again without hesitation. Nothing! The only tiny negative for me was the lift, it was a perfectly fine lift - clean and well maintained, but small. I don’t like lifts, so I chose to walk the 5 flights of stairs! But that’s just my preference and I would book this apartment again, because of the quality of it, the views and the owner all being fantastic.

• Anja (9/5): We liked the accommodation very much and would definitely come back again - The accommodation is very nice, the location is top, the balcony with a view of the Acropolis is fantastic. The air conditioner works and is great in the bedroom. All the basic facilities are available. The hostess is very nice and helpful. It was cute that she had provided small sweets, coffee and even hotel slippers. It is a nice place for a couple. The neighbors in the house and the restaurant owners of the Greek restaurant right outside the front door are all so kind and helpful. We had forgotten our key and everyone tried to help us and was super friendly. We felt very comfortable and safe. It would be good to have a phone number from the host, as we tried to reach her when we forgot our key. However, the number on Booking.com does not work and so we had to wait until she had read our email on Booking. However, she was very helpful and sent someone over to help us. She was also accommodating and did not charge us for the damage we had caused. If you want to cook in the accommodation, the equipment is mediocre, there is no pan and no cutting boards. I would also have liked to have shelves in the closet for storing my clothes. Apart from that, everything was great.

• Julie (9/5): Spent one night here, and it was perfect for our first night in Athens! - Our favorite part of the stay was definitely the balcony with the fantastic view! It was wonderful to sit outside during the evening and early morning, enjoy our food and drinks, and take in the city while we worked through our jet lag. We also appreciated the self check-in, elevator, a/c, kitchen amenities, and that it was walking distance to the Acropolis area. We were able to shop for groceries a block or two away, as well. Everything went smoothly- can't think of anything!

• Christina (7/5): Good - In our stay to elegance apartment we like the bed which was comfortable and the area which was safe and not crowded. The room was not clean as i was expecting. I noticed lint in the sockets, the side tables were looking used and not clean and dirt inside the toilet.

• Giacomo (8/5): Cozy apartment with terrace view on the Acropolis - Cozy and well equipped apartment, with an amazing and huge terrace facing the Acropolis, perfect to relax after a long day exploring Athens. Great communication with the host, and good position in walking distance to the subway and the Acropolis museum (and South slope). If anything, bathroom is a bit small.

• Rebekah (9/5): Perfect place to stay in Athens. - Host communicated well with clear instructions to get into the property and quickly answered any questions. The property was clean and had everything we needed for a two night stay. It was air conditioned - which was lovely and we were able to do our laundry in the washing machine and used the portable clothes line outside so our clothes cousin dry. The balcony was lovely and the view is the Acropolis was excellent especially at night.

• Mihaela (9/5): Amazing, I’d come again and I’ll recommend. - Amazing view to Acropolis, very close to metro (5 minutes), close to supermarkets and only 20 minutes away from Acropolis and all the main attractions. The terrace/ balcony is huuuge and amazing. Clean towels and bedsheets, toilets and sinks, everything important was in order. There’s a bit of a leakage from the shower tub. The shower does not have tiles inside so the water goes through the wall. It’s not something that bothered us in any ways, but I’s recommend to look into it. It may cause issues on long therm.

• Arlene (5/5): Passable - The Location was the best thing about this apartment. The bathroom was extremely dirty. It was not clean especially the shower. There were brown stains on the back of the bathroom door. The whole apartment needed a good clean. The sofa was not comfortable at all. The air conditioning did not work even though Maria said it did. The church bells were extremely loud (so if you want to be woken early, this is the place for you).
