- Alexandros (1/5): Average house, bad management all around and annoying. - Good value for money Because of a booking tax problem, the owner of the property tried to insist on paying an extra tax for the apartment, turns out the tax was correct, but the whole thing was an absolute mess.
Imagine getting called by a suspicious number and telling you that you have to pay extra and to send the money through different platforms.
Only after I asked for the correct tax receipt (the owner didn’t offer it at first) did I pay the extra money.
Wouldn’t recommend it bad experience all around, the apartment was alright though, the bed could have been more comfortable.
The owner also sends a lot of spammy messages when you are literally trying to do your vacation or work.

- Pol (1/5): Not recommendable. - The neighborhood They make you pay an extra fee for everything, such as towels or storeging the luggage a couple of hours. They say that it is for evironmental reasons, but what does have to do with the luggage? All this important information it is only given once you have booked.
The shutter in the bedroom is broken and in the morning too much light comes in. Also very noisy, since the windows look at a steep street.
- Bassam (1/5): Bad - The location only I’d like to mention some issues I experienced during my stay:
- The *air conditioning* did not function properly.
- The *bed was not clean* and appeared dirty upon arrival.
- The *bathroom had a water leakage*, which was uncomfortable.
- The *shutter in the room* was not working, affecting privacy and light control.
And no towels inside the apartment and when i request from the owner told me that we will charge you for towels
Unfortunately, these problems affected my experience
- Hoda (5/5): It is okay for a one night sleep, location was good but facilities were very poor - The location was great, the self check in service was very convenient and the host was responsive There was very little facility available, no hair dryer, no microwave, no kettle, towels came at extra cost, there was a blanker available with lots of stain. I wouldn’t advertise such as a homely apartment.
- Nóra (4/5): Disappointing - The location was great, the bohemian side of Athens. The flat was dark and cold, not like any of the pictures below. The air conditioner and the shutters were broken, rugs and home alike things were not there either.
- Hanım (3/5): Bad👎🏽 - The location is 20-25 minutes walking distance to the center. Other than that, there was nothing positive about it. There were no towels, kettle or hair dryer in the room. The lighting in the room was inadequate. There was no air conditioning remote control. When I asked, the host answered when I checked out the next day. And I was freezing cold all night. There was no one to answer my questions. We paid 9.6 Euros for early check-in. They also asked for a separate fee to wait for the luggage. Complete disappointment.
- Louise (9/5): All in all was good im a solo traveler and i can say that it’s spacious for a couple too. Accessible to restaurants and - I love the property
- Claire (6/5): Pleasant -
- Πορτέλης (4/5): Disappointing -
- Athira (8/5): Very good -
- Diana (6/5): Pleasant - Coolest neighbourhood in Athens and good looking, smooth dialogue with the host I am allergic to cats and the bed was full of cat fur and it was very unpleasant for me
- Kyriakos (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lucinda (7/5): Ok - Affordable Location
- Skirmantas (3/5): Poor - There was no hot water in the shower
- Emircan (8/5): Very good -
- Wise (9/5): Good value for your money - It was perfect for a couple of nights, very well priced for what you get and it was an easy walk to places around the city. There were lots of nice cafes and a grocery shop right near by. We were very happy with our stay :)
- Daniela (10/5): Exceptional - The host was very communicative and friendly. The instructions provided were very clear and easy to follow. The location was brilliant and parking was provided, at an additional cost
- Polpastrello (7/5): Very pretty! - The house is pretty and comfortable if you have to use it as base to sightseeing or going out. Everythinkg was in order, clean and comfy. There were some missing things, like toilet paper, kitchen towels, salt, pepper, oil, hairdryer and other basics to make the stay perfect.
- George (8/5): Very good - The apartment was nice and clean. Bed was comfortable. Easy self-checkin. We didn't have a hairdryer, and the apartment was a bit far from the public transport.
- Ceki (6/5): Pleasant - The hosts were helpful and the house had a modern look. There were no electronic appliances in the house except air conditioning, such as no TV, hair dryer, kettle or toaster. Household appliances were inadequate. The apartment was on a busy street so it was noisy early in the morning.
- Nenad (10/5): Exceptional -
- Novic (10/5): Exceptional - Great location of very clean and comfortable apartment, in the nice neighborhood near the city centre.
Everything is accessible by foot, and near the apartment are lot of coffee shops, and stores.
The host was very kind and always very helpful. Everything was very fine!
- James (9/5): Very convenient central apartment - Very convenient apartment in the Exarcheia neighbourhood. Near to all the tourist spots, which are reachable by foot. Right near Lycabettus Hill which is a must see for panoramic views of Athens. Plenty of shops, bars and coffee shops near by. Apartment is very clean and good value for the money. Kitchen wasn't very well equipped but that didn't bother me. Why to cook there when there's so many nice places to eat in the neighborhood?
- Abdelrahman (7/5): Good -
- Anu (1/5): Bad - Explanation how to find the key, was quite clear. We made a booking for five nights. For us this area and place was depressing, dark and claustrophobic, definitely not homely, outdated and not welcoming. We asked 2 duves, but we got only one duvet cover. When we asked another, it was offered for 5 € per stay. There was one duvet in the closet, but it seemed used. The toilet kept running, you had to flush several times to stop the water running. There was no tv. So we left straight away. We hoped at least a partial refund but we didnt get any. We are not picky and usually go to low budget places, but this was too much. Strange was, that you had to sort you rubish (thats even ok) but also take it out to the main bin on the street.
- Jerzy (9/5): Superb - Location. Everything as expected. Minimalist kitchen equipment. Cutlery - still one fork. No electric kettle. No hairdryer.
- Apartment (9/5): Superb - Good location - 15 min. on foot to Syntagma Square, many cafe's and places to sit in evenings, close to the grocery store.
- Hassan (5/5): Bathroom needs renovations - There is a functioning AC in the place. It also has a shutter and curtains. The place is also very close to the center and you have a lot of restaurants and cafes nearby. The bathroom is in desperate need of renovations. The toilet seat is broken and you feel like you are gonna fall in the toilet when you try to sit down. The shower mixer leaks and you have to hold it in hand to shower (it has no fixture on the wall). The toilet flush is from the stone ages and it was very confusing to use. It also stopped working a couple of times for no reason and they continued to work.
- Andrey (3/5): Poor -
- Claudia (7/5): OK - Good location, close to the center
Air conditioner
Big bed
Good communication, easy check in (key in a box)
Quiet area, close to bars&restaurants Small bathroom (it is almost impossible to take a bath) & broken shower head.
Lack of small hands towel in the kitchen&bathroom.
Lack of toiletries (just a hand soap)
Uncomfortable pillows
- Patrycja (8/5): Very good - The quality vs price was amazing. 10' walking from metro so you can go to the city centre quickly. Plenty of bars on the street, safe neighborhood. Quick communication with the owner. Lack of storage room. You need to turn the boiler on each time you want hot water. A bit noisy overnight if you leave the window open. You need to pick up the keys from their office (1-2' minutes walking from the apartment) - there is a locker on their door. The beds could be more comfy. There is a desk really close to the bed so you need to look out when you pass otherwise you will end up with bruises.
- Emma (6/5): Pleasant - Bed was comfortable. Has black out blinds which was great. Location is good if you don't mind walking 20 to 25 minutes one way. If you don't mind catching buses, the bus stop is outside the apartment. The closest train station is around a 10 to 12 minute walk. The area looks a bit run down but it was safe and fine over night. We noticed that it only had one roll of toilet paper for a 4 day stay, but then we saw a letter stating that we could not put any toilet paper into the toilet at all and that we had to use the bin. The rooms weren't cleaned as it was an apartment, so it meant that you needed to dispose of your own waste at a bin somewhere. It just was not pleasant. I completely understand that parts of the world have to do this, but it should have been stated on the website that this is what you need to adhere to.
Shower was frustrating as you need to hold the shower head. The shower is inside a tiny bath tub with an uneven tub so if you have poor mobility, I would not recommend for you to stay here.
- Clara (6/5): Pleasant -
- Alice (7/5): Good -
- Karolina (8/5): Very good - Clean, comfy and well-equipped apartment in a nice location. Possibility to leave your luggage for the day. Depending on your needs the location can be a plus or a minus. We arrived in the middle of the night and the bars nearby were still open and crowded.
- Alexcis (9/5): Superb -
- Hawa (6/5): Pleasant -
- Jayesh (7/5): Good -
- Minchica (5/5): Acceptable if there are no better options... - The only thing I felt that was really good was the location! With all due respect this apartment looked better in the photos. It is not on a sunny side, it is pretty dark all the time, very depressing vibe (unlike Athens). It is quite small. The bedroom was okay, but everything else not so much. Bathroom is really terrible. Except being small, the bathub has like two levels, so when you stand inside if you are taller than 180cm you most likely won't fit (your head will hit the cealing). The kitchen is very basic but I guess it doesn't matter if you plan to mainly eat outside. The facilites were also poor. The hairdryer was shutting down due to overheating so at one point I had to borrow a hairdryer from the neighbour. Also the communication with whoever the owner is was not up to date - it is not so easy to reach out in case something is not working.
I would only recommended this place if you are a budget traveler/student and none of this matters to you. (I stayed in worse places but as younger. Now, I expect a bit more comfort so you can decide on your own.)
Overall, it is acceptable, especially if it's a very short stay cause it's cheap and close to center, but we booked for 6 nights.
P.S. We also thought the flushing of the toilet doesn't work but it is a strange mechanism, you have to pull it two times faster and then the second time the water starts.
- Coorg (9/5): Superb - It is conveniently located easy walk to center of the Town
- Katherine (7/5): Good - Location was great. Instructions very easy to follow to collect keys. Great value for money. Wifi worked. Could do with a few more kitchen things. There was barely enough cutlery and no bowls to eat from.
A neighbour was very noisy until 03:30am.
Shower just dribbled, couldn't really call it a shower- fine for a very short stay but not really usable in the modern sense of a shower.
- Serhii (3/5): Poor - The apartment was not cleaned after the previous tenants.
- Nikitas (10/5): Exceptional -
- Shane (6/5): Pleasant - Cheap, big appartement Bathroom too small
Not clean, stains onbedding
Lively district but far from main attractions
- Horcsog (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ahmed (7/5): Good - Location
- Jurgita (8/5): Simple flat, clean , bargain for a short stay . Good location. - Small but everything you need. Good location Bathroom is very tiny. No Kitchen towel
- Evdoxia (9/5): Cozy in good location - Nice and cozy, good bed, coffee available in the kitchen, nice neighbourhood. Shower was a little slippery, could use some kind of anti-slipping device.
Kitchen sink needed some work, as water was not going down.
- Kevinwang70 (9/5): Superb - the room is big, and have a kitchen, you can cook. the soundproof is a bit bad. couldn't fall asleep easily if it's noisy outside.
- Anonymous (9/5): Superb - The accomodition was tidy and the location was also good and safety, near to the citycentre. There was only one blanket.
- Elie (8/5): Very good -
- แคทรียา (8/5): Very good -
- Tomcruz (8/5): Very good -
- Massimiliano (9/5): Superb - Place was large and comfortable. The shower was a bit small and was difficult to move.
