• Patricia (7/5): Location, Location, Location, Charming, - The location is fabulous to walk to the Acropolis and restaurants. So that met my expectations fully. Even though it is off a busy street it was very quiet as it is in the back of the courtyard under the steps. The only sound one night was the street musicians playing from the Acropolis and that was keyboard gentle music, so lovely. There was a bit of a miscommunication with the keys and initial messages, but it was quickly resolved. I think there might have been delays in message retrieval from going to the airport to into town. I never could connect to the wifi (instructions were provided) it just didn't ever show connected, yet I could access info so not a bother for me. There is a washer, you need google translate to figure out what the buttons do. There a two drier racks. The tub is high to climb over, and a handheld shower. The kitchen is stocked with what you need. Location is great and a more traditional home setting was lovely. The manger allowed us an later checkout so we didn't have to lug our luggage in the morning to a different location. That was appreciated. The mattress under the loft was very old and overly soft (and I rather have a softer bed than a rock-hard bed). Lots of pillows. There is an upstairs bed, but at 70 the steps would have been difficult to navigate so don't know the condition of that bed. My other older friend slept on the sofa, but she said she was comfortable and there was enough linen to do so. It might have been hidden in the apartment, but we never found a how to guide on location of grocery or market, how to use the washer. etc. That would be nice. A taxi may or may not want to take you down that street

• Genoveva (9/5): Amplio apartamento a 3 min del acrópolis - Amplio apartamento en una de las calles principales de Plaka. Se trata de un casa antigua con patio y varios apartamentos que dan al patio, lo que hace que no haya apenas ruido. A 3 min del acrópolis, en una calle llena de tiendas y restaurantes. En muy buen estado, limpio y muy amplio. El patio huele muy bien a jazmín. Pondría algún espejo más en el piso, solo hay en el baño. No hay TV. No hay microondas
• MICHELLE (5/5): Évaluation - Le quartier formidable, l appartement mérite une petite révision (eau chaude et chauffage pas en fonction avant l arrivée du client, fenêtre qui ferment mal,1 marche d escalier pas secur, litterie moyenne..).des petits détails auxquels l hôte devrait penser et vérifier. Collaboratrice sur place au top!!

• Barbara (8/5): Ideal location close to Metro - Perfect location but initally hard to find: it wasn't exactly where shown on the Booking.com map and had no name or number. Only when I spoke to host on phone did she tell us exact location, (i.e directly opposite the Byron Hotel). Also we never received the WhatsApp message sent by host the day before. After that all was plain sailing. No handrail by or over the bath. Fine for two people but wouldn't have wanted to share with more:; if using upstairs sleeping are no privacy for anyone and hazardois stairway to reach: OK for young and active but not anyone with mobility issues.

• Christopher (10/5): - The apartment was ideally situated to explore Athens, restaurants and cafes were close at hand , despite being in the heart of the city the courtyard was quiet. The apartment could not be improved there was nothing I didn’t like.

• Bengt (5/5): - Läget. Ljudisolerat, lugnt och skönt. Kändes tryggt. Vi bokade som 2 par. Enligt uppgift, skulle det varit 2 sovrum. Var istället ett sovrum med en säng och ett sovloft ovanför den sängen med en smal ostabil brant trapp, utan räcke att hålla sig i. Obefintlig belysning vid sovplatser. Inga krokar i rum eller badrum. Fattades porslin.

• JOSE (7/5): Muy buena ubicación, personal amable, pero mala distribución de la casa y había cucarachas - La localización es perfecta para ver el casco antiguo. El señor fue muy amable, nos facilitó la entrada antes de tiempo y nos buscó un taxista muy amable. Había cucarachas, muy oscuro y copado de camas. La casa es bastante incomoda y el dormitorio superior es una barbacoa.

• Nick (10/5): Plaka on your doorstep - Fabulous location for Plaka and Monastiraki ramblings. Vibrant and colorful area, lots to explore, plenty of places to discover from architecture to entertainment and dining and shopping. Easy access to metro and very walkable. The people and the atmosphere make it a wonderful place to visit. The accommodation was clean, bright functional and spacious, if you can score this place, don't think twice. In all honesty, we could not fault anything here.

• Sanjit (9/5): Great for the price paid - Room met expectations and was in a great location. Kitchen and bathroom were clean and useable. All beds were comfortable and bedding was ok. You get what you paid for I guess, it all worked and was great for what it was and price. Kitchen had ants towards the end of the trip so we didn't use the kitchen much. Some of the sockets were screwed in properly. I'd recommend taking mosquito repellent as we got bit several times during the night. Only other issue was finding a dead lizard in the bed which wasn't there when we went to sleep.

• Tamara (9/5): Superb - Excellent location in the Plaka. Walk around corner to acropolis. Roomy apartment with authentic feel. Photos gave impression there were 2 double beds. Reality was 1 double with 2 single beds that were not in the same room and a fold out couch that wasn't comfortable. Bit of an issue if you are traveling with 2 couples.

• Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional - This property is about as convenient as you can get. The entrance to the acropolis is 1 block walk and all the restaurants of the Plaka neighbourhood are available with a quick stroll north on the same street. Great location.

• Lykke (6/5): Pleasant - The place was nice, and the location is fabulous. Right at the bottom of Acropolis. In a lively neighborhood, but still quiet. That it was very dark. And no instructions on heating/air condition. The latter did not work - until we bought batteries for the remote control

• Julie (7/5): Great stay in Athens! - Big appartment ideally located - Plaka area, next to the Acropole - and yet very calm. Dimitris is reactive and helpful. Appropriate for a few days in Athens! A bit dark (to keep from the heat) and humid - the courtyard is nice but you don’t get to take so much advantage of it.
