• Karen (8/5): - The apartment was situated in such a handy location, central and easily accessible. The roof garden views were fabulous and despite the location being in a bustling area the soundproofing was absolutely fantastic and blocked out all the noise. The staff were really lovely too and greeted us everyday with big smiles. The bathroom was tiny. Not a problem if you're slim but a larger person woukd have struggled.

• Celine (5/5): Disappointing room WITHOUT balcony but great location - The location! In the middle of the restaurant and bar area. We booked this accommodation via Booking.com, under the impression that we would have a balcony with a beautiful view. Don’t trust the pics on Booking. Upon arrival, we were met with a completely different reality: the view consisted of graffiti-covered walls and a direct line of sight into the neighbors’ property. The shower was another issue—after just 10 minutes, the hot water ran out, and we had to press a button and wait 20 minutes for it to heat up again. When we tried to call the apartment’s contact number for assistance, we were told not to disturb them in the evening unless it was an emergency. Apparently, having no hot water does not qualify as an emergency. The rooftop access, which was supposed to be a highlight, was disappointing as well. The stairs leading up were narrow and unsafe, and there was absolutely no view worth mentioning. Other problems included the lack of an interior lock on the door, barely enough space to move around in the shower, and harsh lighting that created a cold and unwelcoming atmosphere. At €70 per night, this was by far the worst money I have ever spent on accommodation. I cannot recommend staying here.

• Nicola (10/5): Super fun place to stay - Neat apartment with everything we needed. The area is lively but we never felt unsafe. Local restaurants good value with excellent menus, our favourites had live rebetica music. This is a super convenient spot for sightseeing. The rooftop views are amazing. Strong WiFi. TV was limited

• Lucy (9/5): Lovely apartment in an excellent location. - The apartment was clean, a good size, well-equipped and in a fantastic location. The room was exactly as advertised and great value for money. I would recommend to anyone visiting Athens and wanting good bars and restaurants on their doorstep. The water pressure in the shower was not great when using the hot water.

• Mikhail (1/5): Despite advance payment and confirmation the room was sold to other people - Nothing, the room was sold to other people with no prior notice despite the advance payment. Despite the advance payment and booking confirmation, the room was sold to the other people. We even got the door codes and detailed check-in instructions. No prior notice, the host did not even bother to inform us about double booking. We made 6 hours drive to the center of Athens, got into Friday night traffic, hardly found a parking place and paid for it. Came on foot with the luggage just to find other people inside! If you don’t want to get stuck in Athens in the night without a place to stay, or meet other guests in your room because they got the code, stay away. The host did not provide any compensation or alternative stay. They even lied in the response on google maps saying “we hope you liked the alternative we provided”.
