• Adina (6/5): The only really great thing was the location. The apartment is very basic. The beds were not the most comfortable. Mattr - The location was amazing. The door was impossible to open. We struggled every time. The key has to turn a certain way and we wasted so much time trying to get it to unlock. I’ve never had any issues opening doors in my life. It shouldn’t be that difficult.

Se si ha intenzione di cucinare è impossibile perché presente solo una piccola pentola e una sola padella, assenza di microonde.

• Barbara (5/5): - The location was excellent. 4 minutes from the Acropolis and on the historic district. It was spacious. The key to apartment was very difficult to use. I could never unlock the door. It is has multiple locks and even with instructions it was very difficult. Adequate apt but not warm and inviting . Hallway to apartment unclean.

• Shelley (10/5): Athens Perfection. - Perfectly located in the heart of Athens, this apartment is just a five-minute walk from the main metro station and the tram, with countless restaurants, bars, and attractions right on the doorstep. The location truly couldn’t be better. The apartment itself was spotless, spacious, and equipped with excellent facilities, including reliable air-conditioning, a welcome bonus in the Athens heat. I was pleasantly surprised by how much larger the room was than expected. The host was outstanding: professional, responsive, and provided clear instructions for check-in, along with thoughtful recommendations for local food and drinks. One of their suggestions, Scholarhio, turned out to be the best meal I had in Athens and is absolutely worth a visit. Despite being so central, the apartment was wonderfully quiet at night, making it easy to rest after busy days exploring. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Athens.

La comunicazione con l’host è stata eccellente e si é dimostrato molto disponibile e reattivo nelle risposte. L’appartamento dispone di tutti i servizi necessari. Perfettamente pulito. Super consigliato. Direi niente !

La cucina non è molto fornita degli strumenti per cucinare. La cucina era invasa dalle formiche. Assenza di personale per risolvere i problemi che abbiamo avuto. Bagno vecchio, il lavandino era inutilizzabile a causa di una perdita. Tavoletta del wc rotta.

• Alexander (9/5): Amazing location near the Acropolis, excellent staff and comfortable stay! - Location was excellent, right in the middle of Plaka and close to the Acropolis (we were able to walk there when we visite). The staff was very responsive, the check in instructions were extremely clear and included a video which made the entire process extremely easy. The apartment was comfortable and served us well. This isn’t the property’s fault but it is an apartment that is in a building shared with other apartments and we got unlucky on our first night, there seemed to be some kind of argument that went very late into the night and was very loud. Also there are lots of motorcycles that pass at night and the room is basically on the street so it can be loud. Otherwise it’s super comfortable but worth noting.
• Tomas (9/5): Excellent location, clean apartmen and responsive owners! - The location of the apartment was excellent - a quiet street in the middle od a vibrant neighborhood and close to the Acropolis as well as other historical places. Also not far from the metro station - easy transfer from and to the airport. The area is full of restaurants and cafes to enjoy good food and drinks. The apartment was clean and spacious enough for a family of four. Also the air-conditioning was useful, with daily temperatures around 35C. The owners were fast in their responses and a missing linen for a sofa was delivered within an hour. The apartment is situated on the ground floor, with the bedroom and living room windows facing the street. So the window blinders were closed all day for privacy and security and thus limiting daylight. As we were outside for most of the day and stayed for three days it wasn’t a big deal.
• Vidya (8/5): Centrally located, extremely convenient - The location is amazing, right at the centre of everything. We could walk it to all the attractions nearby. Markets, Cafes and attractions were all super close by. Very good for family with kids. The host, Nasos was also very prompt in his replies and helped us guide through the self check in process (as we landed in Athens by 10pm) and used to answer all our queries immediately Nothing really.

• Yvonne (7/5): Amazing location but awful bathroom - The location is fantastic! 10/10. Right in the heart of the best area for bars, restaurants and attractions, yet not noisy at all. Loved the area. The apartment was spacious, with plenty of room for our belongings. It was easy enough to find and get into. The owner was communicative and wifi worked well. The bathroom was dreadful. 1/10. Shower too narrow, toilet seat didn’t fit, sink cracked and leaked from behind. It really needs an update! The kitchen was tired, the walls were a little mouldy. The apartment could do with an overhaul to be honest.

• Julie (8/5): Very good - Can't beat the location, and relatively quiet despite being in a prime spot. The apartment was very spacious with a kitchen and living room. Not much natural light as there were metal shutters on the windows facing the street, though this didn't matter much since we spent very little time inside.
• Mary (8/5): Safe comfortable and friendly - Fantastic location and easy access. Well equipped. Responsive host. When we arrived late there was no bedding for the second (pull out) bed. We had requested accommodation for 4 adults. This was quickly rectified the following morning.

• Stefan (7/5): Athens is great for short stays. Regarding the accommodation, it was sufficient for 4 nights. - The location was fantastic. There are many restaurants and bars nearby, and everything you need to see in Athens is close by. The accommodation was okay for a family of three. But 4 nights maximum. We were there for 4 nights, and there was no possibility of a towel change, vacuum cleaner, or other amenities that you would need if you did not have contact with the lender.

I found a dead cockroach in the kitchen, which was extremely off-putting and raised serious concerns about hygiene. The property is generally very old and poorly maintained. In terms of value for money, it was a big disappointment. You can easily find much better accommodation options in Athens for this price.

• Catherine (7/5): Great location, but really needs a good clean. - The location was amazing. The flat needed a really good clean. The kitchen chairs were sticky to sit on, the bathroom sink had a big crack in it which is very unhygienic, the sheets had stains on them and the sheets had long black hairs in it. The bed was hard. We were there for 5 nights and we only had one bath towel and one hand towel, when we asked for another towel they did bring us more but I don’t think they were very happy about it. For a 5 night stay we usually get a couple of towels with out having to ask.
• Emily (7/5): Ideal location, spacious studio on ground floor, a good base for exploring the city. - Perfect location next to some incredible restaurants with rooftop views. Quiet street and close walking distance to Syntagma and Monastiraki train stations. Very spacious, plenty of room. Kettle and hairdryer at property which was convenient. Our only complaint is that the upstairs neighbours were very noisy, we were woken up 2 of 3 nights due to knocking/slamming.

My flight to return to my country was at early morning and it was possible to schedule a transportation through the host. It's really worth it. The shower space is narrow
• Hana (9/5): Perfect location. - The location is absolutely perfect if you want to see the most important historic monuments, most of them are in walking distance. And metro stops are quite close, too. Plaka is very nice and romantic old part of the city with plenty of restaurants and souvenir shops around. The street is surprisingly quiet for such a lively and touristic part of the city. We felt very safe here. Very practical is the safe box with the keys when you arrive late in the night (as we did). Very good communication with the host who provides detailed information (I recommend to read it and see also the video). There is some oil, vinegar, salt, tea, etc. in the kitchen upon the arrival which is great. And a huge refrigerator! Good value for money. Microwave oven wouldn´t harm - but there is a classical oven in the kitchen, so it is not a big deal. You have to count with the fact that the appartment is on the ground floor. The shower space is little tight, but it is managable.

It is walking distance to all the Landmarks. Would definitely go back in the future.

The flat is spacious and very comfortable and even if in heart of the Athens, still is very quiet. It was also very warm although at the end of November it was getting a bit chilly at night. We did not have to use public transport - everywhere was close :) The host is amazing - Nasos sent us very detailed and helpful information before arrival, he fulfiled our additional request and was in constant contact with us, if we needed his help. • Lily (9/5): Just Under the Acropolis is a great find for two people who want to stay in the Plakka area. - Just Under the Acropolis is aptly named. The Plakka location provides many attractive options to explore. The flat itself is spacious and the ground floor is accessible (one or two steps) for someone with mobility challenges. Basic kitchen staples - olive oil, vinegar, salt, pepper, sugar, and coffee filters were in the cupboard. The flat feels “safe.” Generous storage areas for clothes and personal items. Easy to use heating system. Hot water quickly available. Host very responsive to requests including reliable transportation from and to the airport. On a beautiful fall day, we climbed the stairs to the roof and enjoyed a memorable afternoon. We played music and danced in the sunshine. There are chairs, a table and a hammock. We arrived after dark. Although the area is well lit, it was difficult to read the numbers on the lockbox: no contrast. It took some time to see the numbers adequately to enter the code, which was a little frustrating. Although the ground floor location was accessible for my disabled husband, the shower was extremely difficult to use without fear of falling: very narrow, no handgrip. We placed a patio chair in the shower so he could sit. The kitchen included basic food staples but no kitchen towels or potholders. Plenty of paper towels and the host resupplied toilet tissue and bath towels since we stayed a week. I had the impression there was a washing machine but there is not.

• Lee (10/5): Exceptional host and apartment location! - Spacious clean apartment close to The Plaka and Athens attractions. Host Nasos was incredible with communication, information and checking in. The video of the front door and how to retrieve the key from the lock box was invaluable as we arrived early in the morning after a cancelled ferry the previous day and were able to identify the property from the video. Nasos also sent electronically the property guide prior to arrival as well as suggestions for restaurants. Even though we were so close to restaurants etc, the apartment was quiet and felt it was in a safe area. Bonus of having Netflix too. Nasos organised our transfers (even though one had to be cancelled due to our delay) and was in regular communication throughout our stay. Expected a washing machine as we had been travelling for almost 2 weeks and needed to wash but we just did a heap of handwashing and hung it out with our portable clothes lines and provided clothes airer in the small enclosed balcony. Dried over the next few hours so we were all good and not too bothered.

Walking distance to nearly everything. - Situated on a quiet street but very close to several good restaurants, coffee shops, souvenir shops and more. We would have liked a couple more towels and washcloths for our three day stay but we made it work.

Situated in a quiet side street - From time of booking we had great communication from the owner, Nasos, patiently answering many questions. Location, cleanliness, facilities, etc couldn’t be bettered with this huge apartment. A cute little secure patio area ideal for sitting or just airing/drying clothes. No stairs so ideal for less-able. Supermarket, tavernas, shops literally a few minutes away and not far to hop on-hop off buses. We walked to many attractions. Everything was perfect.
