• Janet (7/5): Was spacious apartment in good location but beware of all the apps and 250 euro hold and strictly no cancellation - it was in an ideal location close to everything and in a good part of town . Spacious apartment with good view of Acropolis. There was no Lee way when two of our party were unable to make the trip . If we cancelled we lost all our money . Beware there is a no cancellation policy if things change . We also had to upload another app with a 250 euro hold on our credit card and then another app to access the front door . A nightmare and hassle for 2 nights !

• Roberto (8/5): Bella vacanza in posizione centralissima! - Posizione top e casa molto ben arredata e con super vista panoramica sull’Acropoli. I bagni non erano all’altezza, assenza di bidet per noi italiani è una pecca e secondo bagno troppo piccolo con un lavandino minuscolo dove era impossibile lavarsi.

• Peter (8/5): - The check in was convoluted because it was a third party management company that handeled the check-in. I expected an email from Expedia which never arrived, the management company email went into junk a couple of days before departure, due to the long flight and lack of internet access I had to make calls to connect with them. They wanted a additional deposit before arrival which caused a late fee charge. it would have been better if it was all handled through Expedia. Addtionaly The address was difficult for the taxi drivers to locate making it more frustrating. The location was awesome, the view incredible, very walkable to restaurants and shops.

• Helen (8/5): A good place to stay. - The location was great, as was the view of both the Acropolis and Lycabettus Hill. The apartment needs some TLC. Some things in both bathrooms were broken, and while still functional, should be repaired or replaced. Also there were no instructions provided on how to turn on the water heater or where to take out the trash. The owners were very responsive to our questions but little stuff like that should be easy to correct.

• Angeliki (9/5): Great place! - Location, size, amazing view. Highly recommended for anyone looking to explore Athens. A bit dated. Needs some maintenance- but the positive things were more than the negative.

• Catherine (9/5): Perfect location with a stunning view - The location was fantastic. 5 minutes to Plaka, Syntagma and 2 minutes to the main shopping strip. Yet, set away from the noise and bustle. And The view was superb, looking out at the Acropolis every day. Magnificent. Stunning when light up at night. No better reminder that you are in Athens. The apartment was very comfortable for travelling as a family with grown up children enabling them to have a spacious room each and a balcony looking out at the cathedral square. Great places to eat all around. We didn’t cook much.
• Ralph (7/5): - Clear instructions prior to arrival to get in. While the location was great, the apartment itself was a bit dated. For example, the floor boards in the kitchen were loose and coming undone when you walk. Overall though, happy with our stay.

It was located outside of a beautiful cathedral. And a short walk to the Acropolis and museum. The elevator was too small, the bed was too low, the bathroom mirror was not clean when we arrived.

• Erez (10/5): Perfect long weekend in Athens - in an outstanding apartment - There are several items I would like to highlight: 1. Communication with the property owner - was outstanding - every question or request was answered pretty fast. 2. Checkin/out - actually I have not me the owner at all. The very clear instructions were provided how to take the key where to leave it. 3. Location - the public transportation in the city is great, however the location was so good that the transportation was not required. You just step out of the building and you are in the center of the city - where all the stores, bars and restaurants are. 4. Apartment - we were traveling as a family of 5 - the apartment was very big, having 2 bathrooms and a large living room with a large TV, large kitchen with all the facilities there including a large refrigerator, dishwasher, washing machine and even an an ironing kit. Very convenient, bring stuff from the supermarket near by and having your own breakfast (important if you are traveling with kids). 5. Transportation - when booking through "Booking.com" I got an offer for a free transportation from the airport to the apartment (had to add 15 Euro due to late night transfer). Highly recommended choosing this option - as there is no need for a car inside the city and the parking is very expensive. Everything was great - if you really want to look for it though, so minor maintenance would have been nice including some wall painting in the shower and some bulb replacements - but really these are very minor things. The apartment is great.

• Desiree (9/5): Excellent views, good size apartment, convenient location - Great location in Mitropoleos Square close to the Plaka, Ermou st and 5 minute walk to Monastiraki. Wonderful view of the Acropolis and sunset over the hills. It was hard to find as the location pin on the map is not correct. It is located in Mitropoleos Square not street as the pin suggests. Second bathroom is a little small but adequate. The hand shower head in the main bathroom did not have a high point to place the head.
• Leland (9/5): A great bang for the buck for a family of 5. Apartment managers were attentive and quick to answer questions and arrang - The apartment was a very short walk to a supermarket. It is in the heart of the Plaka area of Athens. It is within a walkable distance of all the major attractions. The View from the apartment is as advertised. The apartment is on the 5th floor but there is an elevator. The washer doesn't spin dry the clothes so we have to take them out and wring them out so it could be hung on a drying rack on the balcony. Bring that this is Athens it was dry by night fall.

The only thing that could have been better is more than one set of keys was hard to navigate at times. Nothing. I would advise fellow travellers to respect the locals who live in the building.

The view of acropolis from apartment (from one corner) is good. The location on the Map of booking.com is not accurate. The living room was nice. The bedrooms can be better. Bed not so comfortable. Bathrooms need improvement. The 2nd bathroom actually is a makeshift bathroom probably from storage area. It was very very small. I think overall the apartment furniture needs an uplift.

Walking distance to restaurants, shops, metros... - Splendid location, walking distance to Syntagma, Plaka and Monastiraki... well connected by metros. Stunning views of the Acropolis. Wide range of excellent eateries around. Property is rather dated.

View is incredible and location was fantastic - so close to restaurants, shops and sites. No table to eat at as a family. Counter worked fine but would have liked a table. Showers were either small or not tall enough for adults.

The host was very helpful. The shower by the kitchen needed a longer shower curtain or something to stop the water going on the floor. Other than that we had no complaints.

• Richard (9/5): Perfect place from which to explore ancient Athens. - It was the perfect location for exploring ancient Athens. Within the ancient walls and admist all the old streets, we were able to walk and explore all the sites, just as Athenians used to. There was only one small balcony off the second bedroom which was overlooking the square and not the Acropolis. If it had been facing the other way, it would have been perfect; but such is life.

• Jeannie (3/5): Poor - large size for a group, but bathrooms were very dirty and very small. small bathrooms. unfriendly manager, who charges us a security deposit when we got their and never refunded it, I had to get it back through my credit card services. I’ve stayed in Athens many times with my family and this was most dated apartment, with horrible customer service and bad bathrooms. you can find much better for the money.
• Melissa (6/5): Location and View were amazing - The view of the Acropolis was amazing from the windows, couldn't have been better! The location is in the center of everything also couldn't have been better! The furnishings were an eclectic mix of some nice antiques and some items picked up from a thrift store. The management team/owners are really missing an opportunity to make this a truly stunning apartment. Right after arrival the shower head hose sprung a big leak and wasn't fixed while we were there, although it was a weekend and we were only there 2 1/2 days.

Apartment was big and spacious with all the functionalities to be able to stay long term. Had a lift, so was easy to carry luggage to and from the apartment. There were two bathrooms and showers however only one shower had sufficient water pressure. The main bathrooms shower was only trickling out. Apartment looked a little tired and needed a paint.
• Hilde65 (8/5): Very good - Perfect location, and quiet despite the central location - except for the church bells :). Good size and design. The A/C worked perfectly and kept us cool, great to have one in each bedroom. The transfer from and to the airport worked perfectly. An extra set of keys was really good, as our group sometimes split up and wanted to leave and come back at different times. Restaurants, shops etc. just around the corner. The cleaning was so-so, found old dust under beds etc. The maintenance guy who fixed the sun screen in one of the bedrooms, gave us wrong information, and we needed to call the office in order to get the hot water sorted. The mattresses in the single beds bedroom were rock hard and bumpy. A small table and a couple of small stools outside the two balcony bedrooms would have been nice - there was just one small stool, and the foldable wooden table was so old and rotten that it just collapsed. A few more kitchen supplies would have been nice - more drinking glasses, a good bread knife, clean dishwashing sponges, a dishwashing towel, extra garbage bags..... The apartment is overall a bit worn, especially the small bathroom. Still waiting for the damage deposit to be refunded, more than 2 weeks after check-out.
• Peter (9/5): It's a true view! - Location was fantastic, on the square next to the cathedral (not on the street further up like the map showed). The view of the Acropolis is truly stunning from the lounge. Bedrooms are large, living area comfortable. The showers weren't great... and it will need redecorating in the near future. But this didn't detract from the overall stay.
