• Afroditi (9/5): - Υπεροχα ανακαινισμενη παλια οικία, με ψηλά ταβάνια ενώ εχουν διατηρηθεί πολλα απο τα αρχικά στοιχεία. Πανέμορφο, ψηλοτάβανο με ζωγραφιστά ταβανια Υπήρχε μια μυρωδιά υγρασίας αλλα ισως οφείλεται και στην παλαιότητά του χωρου

• Plonia Pieterse (8/5): - Erst Guesthouse is centraal gelegen in de wijk Psiri. Gezellige en levendige wijk. Groot appartement, mooie plafonds, prima keuken. Het is vooral in het weekend beetje lawaaierig. Het tweede sleutelkastje is een beetje moeilijk te vinden, het zit links achter in de hal, om het hoekje.
• Tasos (8/5): Overall it’s a great stay in a great spot to stay at Psyrri - Nice building, huge rooms, great location. This is an old building that was renewed. Our room was a whole flat with big rooms, nicely decorated and very comfortable Windows are not soundproof and that can be a little bit annoying when a car pass or a group of people talk outside the house but in general is a quite street so that wasn’t a big deal. Also the ventilation in the bathroom is not great and needs cleaning

• Gerfried (10/5): - Sehr nettes Apartment in einer guten Lage, um Athen zu besichtigen. Alles was man für einen Kurztripp braucht ist vorhanden, eine kleine Bäckerei mit hervorragenden Backwaren befindet sich gleich ums Eck. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

• Christian (1/5): Bettwanzen, teilweise kaputte Austattung und runtergekommene Gegend - Relative Nähe zu U-Bahn. Wir hatten Bettwanzen und mussten mitten in der Nacht die Unterkunft wechseln. Meine Tochter wurde gebissen und wir mussten das gesamte Bett von den Wanzen befreien. Am nächsten Tag haben wir unsere gesamte Kliedung in einer Wäscherei gewaschen. Nebenbei waren mehrere Fenstergriffe waren defekt, Vorhangstangen herausgebrochen. Kochgeschirr, Geschirrtücher etc. fehlte, Geschirrspülmaschine war kaputt. Die Umgebung ist ziemlich runtergekommen, viele Bauruinen und verlassene Häuser. Leider konnten wir nachts keine ähnliche Unterkunft finden, so dass wir gezwungen waren ein doppelt so teures Hotel zwei Straßen weiter nehmen zu müssen und froh waren überhaupt die Unterkunft wechseln zu können. Ich bat um Kostenerstattung aufgrund der Bettwanzen, wurde aber abgelehnt und musste schließlich froh sein überhaupt stornieren zu dürfen. Vermieter wies noch darauf hin, dass die Bettwanzen wohl zum ersten Mal erwähnt wurden. Da wir ganze Nester an der Wand entdeckt hatten, gab es diese wohl schon länger. Wenn ich solche eine Wohnung vermieten würde, würde ich alles daran setzen beim Thema Bettwanzen den Schaden der Mieter zu begleichen und anschließend einen Kammerjäger holen. Da es sich hier um reine Kostenmaximierung handelt, kann ich von der Wohnung/Vermieter nur abraten. Es würde es mich interessieren ob heute noch Bettwanzen vorhanden sind.

• Okan Coşkun (8/5): Pleasant Stay - We stayed on the ground floor of a two-story house. The place was very nice. The floors are wooden, it was well cleaned, and the bed and pillows were very comfortable these details matter, of course :) It was also pleasant to have a small space between the house entrance and the street. It’s a 4-minute walk to Bougatsadiko Psirri and about 7–8 minutes to Monastiraki Square, so the location is quite central and ideal. Next time, I’m considering staying on the upper floor. The smell coming from the bathroom drain. Unfortunately, there are no “Super Mario–level” smart plumbers around. This is clearly a plumbing issue. My advice to guests: wet a tissue and place it over the drain. Also, a grate should be installed on the rainwater drain at the entrance of the house.

• OLGA (8/5): Хороший вариант для семейного проживания. - Квартира расположена недалеко от центра, до станций метро и до Акрополя можно дойти пешком. Внутри квартира хорошо оформлена, красивые деревянные двери и окна, есть удобная мебель и кухня. Есть обогрев помещений горячим воздухом. Потолки украшены орнаментальной росписью. Комнаты удобные. Дома на улице изрисованы непристойными картинками и водитель такси предупредил нас об осторожности в этом районе! В квартире не работал полотенцесушитель, нет микроволновки, минимум посуды для приготовления еды.

• Karina (8/5): - Location was close to the city center surrounded by many cafés and restaurants, ATMs, baggage storage and more. Apartment is huge and very spacious and comfortable. Host was very helpful and responded very quickly. We also enjoyed sitting on terrace which has very nice view of the next building covered in nice images. We got wine as a gift, that was very kind. :) Overall experience 95%. What we didnt like was the fact that there was no kitchen cloth (to wipe the plates),no dishwasher tabs, no complimentary coffee tabs (even though there is a coffee machine), no oil or some basic spices. Would be very nice if there. I would also appreciate if the place was a little bit more clean.

The water pressure is veeeeery slow, sometimes impossible to shower, 2 broken windows- there were hard to open, absolutely no heating in the bathrooms- it was nice to know about it from the beginning.

• levy (1/5): אכזבה גדולה - המיקום טוב. המיטה הזוגית טוב. מיטות היחיד לא היו נוחות. המקלחת לא הייתה סגורה ונזלו מים ולא היו מספיק מגבות בגודל גוף לרחצה. אבל הדבר הכי נורא שביום שבת בבוקר הייתה נזילה וכל המטבח הוצף והחשמל קפץ רק לאחר כמה שעות הגיעה המנקה ניקתה והעבירה את המקרר אבל עדיין אי אפשר היה להשתמש בכיריים ובתנור ואמר לנו שיבוא חשמלאי יותר מאוחר. חשמלאי לא הגיע לא בשבת ולא בראשון ובראשון שוב הייתה נזילה וכל המטבח הוצף. היינו חייבים לאכול בחוץ ובזבזנו הרבה כסף כי לא יכולנו להשתמש בכיריים ובתנור. בנוסף לכך המקרר הועבר לסלון אז היה צפוף בסלון ולא יכולנו לשבת. היינו מצפים שיתנו לנו דירה חלופית אבל כל עוד לא עשו זאת אנחנו זכאים להחזר כספי על היומיים האחרונים. אנחנו מאוד כועסים ולא ממליצים על הדירה הזאת. אפילו התנצלות לא קיבלנו אלא רק חיכו שמצא כדי לתקן. בושה וחרפה. מצפים ממי שאחראי בבוקינג לחזור אלינו גלית 0525866272

• Andrew (9/5): Beautiful apartment in a great location. Spotlessly clean and comfortable. Great value for money. A+ - The apartment was beautiful. Clean and spacious with very comfortable beds. We stayed 3 nights then booked another on our return to Athens. The location was perfect for our needs - less than 10 mins walk from Monastiraki metro station and close to lots of restaurants and nightlife. Would highly recommend. A washing machine would be great but really that's nit-picking. There was nothing we didn't like.

• Estelle (6/5): secure apartment in Psiri - The owner was very accommodating regarding leaving our luggage earlier than check in time. Erst Guesthouse was a well furnished , modern and secure apartment conveniently situated and within walking distance from restaurants, shops and most sights. It was easy accessable for the taxi to drop us off and collect us for the airport. We specifically rented a 2 bedroom and 2 bathroom apartment as we were 3 people. On arrival we were told not to use the second bathroom as there was a leakage. This was very inconvenient and unacceptable. Aircon did not cool rooms properly No dish washing cloth or drying cloth in kitchen.

• Masetti (7/5): Struttura elegante in ottima posizione… con qualche miglioria strutturale da fare.. - L’estetica é perfetta, appartamento davvero ben decorato con ampi soazi ed eleganza. Check in remoto perfetto. Aria condizionata poco performante e con temperatura esterna di 38 gradi è stato impossibile raffreddarla efficacemente. Probabilmente l’appartamento era chiuso da qualche giorno e quando siamo entrati la temperatura interna era infernale. Materassi roventi quindi impossibile dormire la prima notte.

The house was freezing when we got home, and it took a few hours to make house warm. To have hot water, you need to wait for 15 minutes and everytime you want to use it, you have to wait again.

We had a bad luck with group of young men that started to party every evening arround 11.00 pm. The party lasted every night till 4.00 am. Due to the fact that the owner obviously doesn't live in the same house and we had just a phone contact, we didn't get in touch with her (couldn't call during the night). It would be nice to find a "tool" to control, who is comming.

• Yaron (7/5): Great location, good apartment, No WIFI - Excellent location in the center of Athens, large clean apartment with comfortable beds and a very responsive host. This is a good place that can be great if the WIFI would work..... Wifi is just not working. We tried it through several days and it was the same for us and for other apartments in the building. Don't count on working or accessing the internet through WIFI at all.
• Lot (8/5): Beautiful and spotless rooms in a quiet street. - Elegant interior design, location close to restaurants, quiet at night. I’ve been to this place before and came back because I had a good experience. It was just as nice this time. A free bottle of water and wine await in the fridge, which is a nice touch. The place is kept very clean, it was spotless A few things have broken, such as the curtain rails in some places and one of the shutter doors, and have not been repaired. The AC in the larger bedroom isn’t capable of properly cooling the bedroom. At night, the room got very hot but this probably partially to blame to the fleece that is under the bedsheet as well, which made the bed very hot. The showerhead is hand held and not attached to the wall, which makes showering a bit of a clunky experience.
• Benjamin (8/5): Beautiful apartment, bad internet. - The apparent was very spacious & in a great location. The internet connection was so unreliable it was inoperable. For today’s traveller the internet is a necessary safety tool & often required for the working traveller. This was very disappointing, and led to additional costs in data roaming.
• Leonard (10/5): Cozy & quaint place to stay when visiting Athens. - Great communication with owner. Location was close, keeping most everything within walking distance. Property itself was clean and had all the essentials you would need, to include a full kitchen & fridge…and two bathrooms! Which was great and saved time when getting ready. There was nothing we did not like. Only thing I would add is a shelf or something in the showers…someplace to hold soap and/or shampoo.

• Paula (3/5): Frustrating. - Comfortable beds. Do not book this property if you need wifi to work or study during vacation time. The wifi does not work and when it briefly does it’s slow. Despite being told a technician would investigate when I sent a follow up message I was ignored. The showers do not have a wall mount and you literally feel like you are being hosed down. No washing machine, dishwasher tablets which is pretty standard in an apartment. An old sponge and cloth in the kitchen again pretty standard hygiene measures to change after each guests.

• Remi (7/5): Frustrating about the alarm and airco - Location was far by best The airco didnt work all the time it shut down a couple of times and we slept whitout airco a couple of nights that made the nights unpleasant. The alarm went off in the building when different tenant opent the door. This sound was really horrible.

• Sabine (8/5): Very good - We could easily reach all points of interest in walking distance and had nice restaurants and bars around the corner. It was great to have air conditioning! Very recommendable for a family with 2 kids: The parent bedroom is large and has a small balcony, while the kids bedroom is much smaller. But it also works for a 2nd couple. We did not get the dishwasher to work, but the host brought us a plastic bowl so we could clean the dishes.
