- Martin (8/5): Excellent base to explore the historical sites and other districts of Athens. - The location was very good allowing easy access to the main historical sites and the lovely Thisseo district with its restaurants, bars and Acropolis views. There is a supermarket on the same street as the apartment. Thisseo station is a few minutes walk away so it was easy to get the metro to Piraeus to catch our ferry on leaving the apartment. We also liked the shower and the Wifi coverage is very good. Maybe a blanket or cover for the beds in addition to the sheets.
