• Gizem (10/5): A cozy chic and minimal apartment at a amazing location. - We were very lucky to find such a comfortable stay. We travelled with a 8 month old baby so it was truly important for me to find a good place. Everything was thought for. In every cupboard there are useful amenities. We didn’t need to buy one thing. It was very clean very comfortable and very calm and minimal. The lighting in every room was excellent and the design was also very comforting. They even put extra blankets and towels for the baby. There was also coffee pods and even olive oil and everything that i would have need to buy. The location was amazing. Right around the corner is all of the world big brands yet not in the middle. We didn’t use a taxi even once. Restaurant’s cafes markets coffeeshops everything is under the place. I think this was a catch. This is going to be the only place we stay when we come to Athens. The only handicap was that there is no balcony that you can actually step into. So i thought It did have one but it was only a balcony door that has a border.

From 5 in the morning it was impossible to sleep. - the bathroom is very old and very small. Even with the given instructions we did not have warm water in the morning. -

• Mehdi (10/5): Exceptional apartment at a great location! - Great location in the centre, walking distance from all historical landmarks and places of interest. Metro, public buses, taxis, supermarkets, lots of restaurants, self operated laundrette( laundromat all close by within 5-10 minutes walk. Lots of restaurants and food options, shopping again easy walk away. The apartment itself is exceptionally clean and well managed. They have provided all essential stuff. The management responds promptly and are extremely helpful. They know how to look after the guests. We had a wonderful stay and wholeheartedly recommend it. Other reviewers have mentioned about difficulty in getting in and out of shower which could be an issue for those with mobility issues but this was not applicable to us. It was all great.

• Michael (9/5): Would definitely stay here again. - Facilities, Bed, air conditioning, location, wine and water on arrival, security, the music in the lift. Good hanging space A bit awkward getting into the bath/shower, but not really an issue, the washing machine is useless. it left soap in my clothes and failed to spin dry sufficiently. This may have been my lack of understanding of how to use the machine, but I doubt it.

The mattress and the pillows were also good. The apartment is on the 6th floor and the elevator is a bit small and dated.

• Mardi (4/5): Disappointed - The location in terms of proximity to city centre for walking. We were woken every morning by construction works literally outside the 6th floor bedroom window at 7am. The apartment is in an old building, which it shares with offices. Main access is through the use of a very small, old lift, which was reliable but off-putting. We did not think the bathroom was adequate. Firstly, because only one person could occupy at any time. The shower was over the bath, which had very high sides. It was an accident waiting to happen. We did not like the vibe of the place at all. The office next door leaked a strong smell of tobacco smoke into the hall outside of the apartment. All in all I regretted booking it, especially for 5 days. We tried to cancel on arrival, but the owner was not willing to refund any part of our payment.
• Brian (10/5): Quiet and safe location. Apartment was perfect I every way. - It was spotless, everything you could want was included. Water in fridge is a small gesture but a huge help when you arrive so you don’t have to go out hunting. Lovely gesture of wine also. Beds were comfortable and facilities excellent. It really was perfect. Especially loved location with restaurants only yards away . Management staff were excellent and everything was explained in full before arriving. Absolutely nothing to dislike

The host Efi was very attentive and responded to my messages immediately, even though I wrote them late. When there was a problem with the washing machine, she made sure it was repaired immediately. In the perfect location, you can reach everywhere on foot. The apartment is equipped with everything you need for a longer stay. Perfectly clean, new, decorated with style. The garage is two minutes from the building. Efi is a wonderful host. Responds instantly at any time of the day. We found our home in Athens.

• Nicole (10/5): Great apartment for an Athens city trip! - The apartment is located perfectly if you want to explore Athens during 2 days. Efi is a super kind host and all the processes, such as check in and check out were super convenient. We stayed there as group of three which was very easy as well due to the sleep sofa in the living room.

• Stefano (9/5): Superb - The apartment is very nice and comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped with everything needed for cooking. The area around the apartment is very nice, with café and restaurants. In 10-15 minutes by walk you can reach all main places in Athens. The internet connection is extremely slow, I had planned to work remotely during the day, and the slow connection made it very difficult. Forget about uploading/sending files, with 200kB/s you can't do much. The apartment misses a dining table where to eat, the kitchen only has a small shelf facing the wall and the living room a coffee table. The fridge stank, I don't know of what, because it looked clean, but every time I opened it there was a stinky odour that would spread in the kitchen.

The bath impossible to use for old people or people with disability. Also old building had two bad issues electricity cut and lift not working had to climb six floors on the stairs.

The location wonderful and within walking distance of nice cafes and restaurants as well as the town centre if you want a 15 minute hike. I would strongly recommend to change the bathtub to a shower as the barrier is very high and dangerous. Someone older than 60 years old could find the bathtub challenging. One additional thing is to improve the internet as it was slow and my communication failed to reach the recipient.

• Jin (10/5): Amazing apartment and amazing hostess - We chose this apartment as our last leg of our 3 week vacation, and we feel very fortunate to have found this place. Years ago, we stayed at a posh hotel nearby, but I would stay at the Cartier Apartment any day over the other hotel. The apartment is in a very safe part of Athens, close to everything, and we walked everywhere. We landed at the Athens airport and took the train to the apartment. It’s very easy to do. First, Ms Effi is a hostess goddess. As soon as I booked the apartment, I received specific instructions from Effi. I was not able to check in early, but she said she would let us know if we could check in earlier than 3PM. The key pick up - you have to read Effi’s instruction. Because we had an early AM flight, I was tired and I didn’t read the instruction properly, but it’s easy to pick up the key and get to the apartment. We were early, so I connected with Effi, and she said the cleaning person was getting the apartment ready and that we should be able to get in sooner than 3PM. Amazing Effi. The apartment was spotless and lacked nothing. There was a bottle of wine, soap for the washer (the washer is different than what we are used to in the US, but I used a similar one when I was in Florence last year so it was fine and there’s a specific instruction on how to use the machine ), many bottles of water, coffee pods, toiletries galore, etc. The apartment had everything. There is a nice supermarket around the corner and many places to eat, and if you are in the mood to buy luxury items, this is the place to stay in. I didn’t think I would enjoy Athens as much as I did, but I know that it’s because of this amazing apartment and the supersonic speed, professionalism and friendliness of Ms. Effi, the hostess goddess. • Medha (9/5): The room is very spacious and quiet, excellent clean. Full amenities - It’s a bit worrying when to collect key from parking lot station. Though It’s really 3mins walk to apt. The hotel can provide a direction map will be helpful. There’s a lift to bring you to 6th flr but few stairs need to bring luggage’s up can be tough if yours are very heavy. Finding the direction, even goggle map can be confusing. The showering is in a bathtub which is quite high to get down for kids and old folks.

Location is excellent. Bathroom is a little small but manageable. Would not recommend the apartment for someone with mobility issues as the bathtub is a little high: need to hold on to something to step in and out.
