• Graciela (7/5): EXCELENTE UBICACION - La ubicacion es excelente, a un paso de la movida de pubs, cerca de la salida de los free tours. Todo caminando. Como llegabamos a la 1 am (el horario de ingreso era entre las 15 y las 23, pero nuestro vuelo llegaba despues de esa hora) enviamos varios mensajes solicitando nos dijeran como resolver el acceso a las llaves, mensajes que no respondieron. La respuesta llego justo antes de tomar el vuelo, a las 18hs. Luego, pudimos comunicarnos telefonicamente y por wasap pero hasta ese momento estabamos preocupados por la falta de respuesta.

• Christian (5/5): Da die Lage wirklich perfekt war, waren wir im Allgemeinen ganz zufrieden. - Die Lage der Unterkunft war perfekt Dusche hat nicht richtig funktioniert, es kam aber sofort ein Techniker, der sie vorübergehend wieder zum Laufen gebracht hat. Leider nur 4 Decken (wenn auch große) für 8 Leute und generell etwas kalt in der Unterkunft. Nur 1 Schlüssel pro Unterkunft war für 4 Personen pro Zimmer auch etwas mühsam.

Notre hôte nous a indiqué que la taille du lit était de taille standard pour l’Irlande. Néanmoins, pour tout voyageur européen, celui-ci ne convient pas pour 2 personnes. Nous avons dû attendre 11 jours pour le retour de la caution...

• Lisa (1/5): Dark, damp and unsafe plumbing - It was clean. The smell of damp and mildew was overwhelming from the moment you step through the front door. We spent as little time there as possible, as well as the smell it is a dark and fairly oppressive feeling to the flat. Although it is a ground floor it very much feels like a dingy basement. We sensed there was an issue with water and plumbing when we realised the water in the toilet cistern was not the usual cold but hot, very hot. The biggest problem came at 2.15 am when we were woken by the sound of the water tank/immersion boiling. It sounded like a huge pan boiling over. The noise was immense and very frightening. One of my children wanted to sleep in the car as she was terrified it was about to explode. My husband opened the door and turned everything off and could actually see water leaking from the tank!! We didn't sleep again after that. I have been in touch with the property manager who initially tried to tell me that it was the sound of a water tank refilling. I assured her it wasn't the case and it was dangerous. She said she would have someone look at it BUT she has not bothered to contact me again so I am not sure she can be held to her word. I would definitely not recommend this place, it is dark, damp with dodgy and unsafe plumbing.

Comfortable beds, one firm one soft - so we were able to choose which we liked more. Plenty of amenities available, fridge, kettle etc. Cosy heating, great size powerful shower. Lovely place The only thing that could be improved would be having more towels available, and when we arrived there was no toilet roll so we had to buy some.

Owner then wanted a €400 deposit on checking in which wasn’t advised on the booking form and we had already paid in full before arriving. The further deposit did not get paid!

The host is the nicest person ever, so down to earth and always fair and helpful! The apartment has such a nice vibe, it makes you feel like a local living in Dublin. Totally recommended.

• Priscilla (6/5): Great location at the heart of Dublin - The location was great. We were pretty much in the heart of the city, steps away from everything. The unit looked clean, beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked for our needs. Host was kind in helping me to navigate to the unit on the first day when I struggled a bit with the directions. She also checked in during our stay to ensure all of our needs were met. Very attentive host. The water heater, which was located in a closet in the master bedroom, was extremely loud, making noise every so often even when water was not running. I had to sleep with ear plugs. However, one morning we had an early start and had to be able to shower at 4AM, but there was no hot water - none. I am uncertain of whether the hot water is somehow only available during certain times of day, or if we ran out of hot water due to running the washing machine the day before. As far as storage, there were closets with a handful of hangers (not enough), but no dresser(s). The bathroom lock was broken, so had to come to an agreement with the rest of the party that if the bathroom door was closed, assume there was someone using it.

However, it is not a busy street, so noise is not continuous or frequent. Hot water was not sufficient for all occupants to have a shower. The water geyser requires some effort to use- however the online instructions were clear and solution was obtained.

When we arrived there was no vanity basin plug & little toilet paper. These matters were quickly remedied. The taps didn’t work properly, every time you flushed or put run the taps a really loud sound came from the main bedroom, meaning you couldn’t flush in the night because it’ll wake you up. The fire alarm in the bedroom didn’t work and was hanging off. For the money it really wasn’t worth it. It was always so cold even with the heating on. As stated

• Robert (4/5): I felt deceived. The property was misrepresented by photo and by write-up. - The photos did not represent the flat. The red curtains in the one bedroom were tattered, torn and not hemmed. The window was cracked. The dining table chairs were black plastic lawn chairs. The toilet set was askew and loose. There was no cutlery drawer. The washer dryer did not work - the door was broken and had to be repaired. Then, the fuse blew when I laundered a night shirt. Then, the wash/dry cycle did not work. I had no night gown to wear that night. The heating was difficult to sort out. The landlady/property manager came over to help and she has difficulty getting the heat to work. The shower head has to be manipulated to work. There was no dishcloth with which to wash dishes, nor was there a dish sponge. ***** The location was great - 10” walk from train and bus station, 15-20” from Temple Bar, cathedrals,museums. See above.

• Steve (3/5): Not remarkable - Location Location next to a construction site, workers were working all night and the windows could not be shut. Location very close to the main road therefore car noise all night, very angry and irritated. Kettle in the kitchen in a poor state, therefore cannot be used, was later changed by the manager No one to talk through the facilities, difficult to figure out some of the appliances. Not a good experience, especially when travelling with children.
• Alanna (9/5): Comfortable, clean flat in perfect location - Spacious flat that had more than enough room for everyone - it is bigger than it looks in the photos. It was exceptionally clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The staff were excellent: met us on time to show us around and were prompt to answer by WhatsApp when we had a question. Location can't be better. It was a little noisy from traffic on the street but there are currently building works nearby so that probably made it worse. Other than that, everything was great!

The water heater was behind the wall of the second bedroom and "ticked" through the night. We saw a man peeing on the street below and I swear someone dropped a load of crockery one night and then danced in it.

• Andrea (8/5): Great location for disabled users and exploring the whole city. - Clean, well equipped, great layout. Best coffee machine ever! Easy to use for disabled. Marie, staff member was super helpful, taking our luggage in early to enable us to go for lunch and familiarise ourselves with the area. Great location, the Temple Bar pub and restaurant area was just a few streets away, but far enough away to not be noisy at night. Just around the corner to the DART rail service, very easy to get out and about to Malahide. Convenience store 5 mins away. Unfortunately next to a lot of construction. Nothing to do with hosts but drilling and grinders started at 7:45am until 6pm. It definitely got us up and out to see the sights. Overlooking a classroom/ lecture hall so curtains had to be closed for privacy, could do with vertical blinds but didn’t spoil our time together.

• Constance (5/5): Shabby property but good location - The apartment was clean and in a good location but frankly shabby condition. The apartment was shabby, chipped paint, lamps that didn’t work (not just light bulbs), holes is blankets etc. Very outdated and frankly depressing. It has the potential to be a great property with fresh paint, new drapes, bedding, lamps etc. The expensive would not be great so assume ownership doesn’t really care.
• Katalin (6/5): Pleasant - location is great, facilities also first was difficult to find it (our driver had issues) secondly. the windows like paper. you can hear every tiny noise from outside. obviously as the apartment located in centrum, lot of drunk people outside, but honestly you could hear everything- bonus issue is that they are building next corner something. waking up on holiday because of that every day at 6:30-7am isn't cool. flushing toilet or opening warm water gives you a heart attack if you didn't get used to this loud noise.
• Megan (2/5): Very expensive for what we got. lumpy pillows, hard mattress, cold shower, very awkward to use. - the shower wouldn’t work correctly. no hot water. the instructions left were very bad, they didn’t make sense. the English wasn’t great. Ye need to also make aware on your website that it’s a passport you need as an ID. also state the 400€ deposit better. that’s ridiculous amount of money, it needs to be stated more clearly on the website. I would not recommend ye to anyone.

• Joann (6/5): Pleasant apartment, central, but needs updating, wouldnt take much to make it excellent. - The location of this property is great, very near the Temple Bar area and the town centre itself, but still quiet enough. Apartment was warm, and clean. The lighting in the apartment was bad, No mirror in the bedroom, Hairdryer was broken, No normal TV, No batteries in remote, shower head chest height-broken, 4 odd mugs in the cupboard, expectations on photos not met, need a bit of TLC and attention to detail.
• Miles (8/5): great location but noisy - the property was in a good access point to the river and not far from the main points of interest. there were some initial issues with the heating and hot water but the manager completely took care of it within 24 hours which I was very pleased about. Outside noises were loud, people yelling and singing all throughout the night. the widows are just too thin to insulate noise and weather. also the door slamming downstairs was so loud to us as well (1st floor). maybe there can be something done to insulate the windows and to slow does the front door from slamming.
• Ben (7/5): Good - Good location, short walk to most places, spacious, clean. bed wasn’t the best, can be rather noisy on the side street with late passer-by’s.
• Greg (7/5): Decent place for the money. - location was great! WiFi instructions in binder were wrong; had to figure out how to connect by looking at the router.
• Janene (10/5): Exceptional - The suite was larger than expected and the rooms were more modern. Comfortable beds. We had a lift and the location was great.

• Emily (7/5): Not the nicest place in the world, but still worked well for my group! - I liked that the location was very close to the center of the city and a short walk many tourist attractions and bars/restaurants. Our host was also very responsive and accommodating, especially with allowing us to drop our luggage off early before check-in. The apartment was very clean and quite comfortable, and had everything we needed. The "look" of the apartment was not the most stylish, and a couple small things (including the lock on the bathroom door) were broken. The street the apartment also seemed to be the go-to destination for drunk tourists/locals to urinate on the walls, so the smell going in and out the front door wasn't great. The price was a bit more expensive than I think it ought to be, but then again, I booked late so can't complain too much about the places that were still available. The apartment served the purposes of me and my group and we still felt safe and comfortable in the space.
• Dimitris (8/5): We had a pleasant stay in a well equipped place inside the city center. - The apartment is inside the city center! The total room was OK and generally we had no problems during our accommodation. Finally UT is very well equipped.
