• Vojtěch (9/5): Great place to stay at in kukes - Clean and big rooms it was a bit further away from the city centre but im talking 5 minutes by foot so it was not a problem. The owner was really a great guy.

• Frank (10/5): - Spacious room with balcony and good WiFi. It was quite cold but we could take extra blankets. Very friendly host who speaks very good English and brought us to the taxi stand to go to Prizren (Kosovo). So it was an ideal location to explore the Kosovo as it is not allowed to use our car without an extra insurance. Our car was safe in the privat car park in front of the house.

• Klaus65 (9/5): Top wie schon beim ersten Mal - Waren schon das zweite mal da. Sogar im selben Zimmer. Der Vermieter ist ausgesprochen hilfsbereit. Platz genug für Auto mit Anhänger. Die Zimmer sind sauber und das Wasser aus der Leitung kann getrunken werden. Hatten das Zimmer nach Osten zur Haupstrasse. Sind etwas spät angekommen. Der Sohn des Vermieters hat auf uns gewartet.

• Paweł (10/5): - Gospodarz to profesjonalista. Punktualny, miły, życzliwy i skory do pomocy na każdym etapie. Bezpieczny parking dla motocykli, a w razie deszczu właściciel sam zaproponował schowanie motocykli do garażu. Na przywitanie otrzymaliśmy zimne piwko.

• Idun (10/5): Super hjälpsam och gästvänlig! - Värden var den bästa mannen i hela Albanien. Han var superbra på engelska så allt var enkelt att kommunicera och hans son hjälpte till när pappan inte var på plats. Även han, en ängel som var superordentlig, gästvänlig och dessutom superbra på engeöska. Vi hade lite problem med vår bil och mannen sa genast att han skulle ta en titt på den så fort han hade tid. Utöver det hade han dessutom tvättat av den. Inga klagomål

• John (9/5): Large spotless room - Large, bright, spotless room with super shower. The host met us and allowed us to keep our bicycles on the property. A black out blind would be great as the property faces East.

• Dorit (4/5): Very disappointed - The oarking is good The shower is terrible. The shower is connected to the sink and the water goes down the toilet. The toilet is a hole in the floor. There is no toilet. Standing. There are only two sockets in the room. One for the refrigerator and the other for the air conditioner. So if you want to boil water or charge your phone, you have to unplug one of them. It is not possible to turn off the light from the bed. The stairs to the room have no railing, which is dangerous. There is no connection between the pictures on Booking and the reality

• Vandenbroeke (8/5): Clean, convenient room for the night. - I enjoyed my stay here, it was a nice secure location. It was new, or at least it looked new. And it was quiet. My only complaint was the heater didn't work very well. But it was a new heater a/c unit. But eventually it got warm in the room. I spoke to the owner the following morning and he said he would fix the problem.

• Whatsnext_42 (10/5): Nice clean room - A cozy, comfortable room with fantastic hosts! The owner even let me park my motorcycle in his workshop right below my room, which was perfect since I use soft luggage and no locks. The place is conveniently located on the main road, near a gas station, and just a few minutes from the city center.
• Geoff (7/5): A nice place to stay but it needs a European style toilet. - A very nice and helpful host. A decent enough room, with a comfortable bed. BUT .... the room has a squat toilet. You can only see this if you closely examine the photo of the bathroom. My knees are too old and rickety for a squat toilet.

The room is nice, the fridge is right next to the room. The bathroom is spacious. Everything beautifully clean. Thanks to the owner, we were able to enjoy a short day in Kukes. None!

Also at the hotel, the owner has his own service for cars, he helped us replace the bulb in the headlight. Thank you very much for everything

• Danail (9/5): Superb - If it is late, it is a strange but very good place to sleep for the night as a last-minute offer. The host, who speaks English was very responsive and let us park our motorbikes in the garage.

• Barbora (8/5): Great host, good accommodation - The host was very nice and welcoming, gave us cold beer, water and also ride to the bus station the next morning for free. The room was fine It was very hot the day we arrived and one little fan was not enough. Also there was a squat toilet in the bathroom, which is okay, but may be strange for somebody who is not used to it.
• Elizabeth (8/5): Clean rooms above a mechanics shop - The guest house worked for our needs, the view after the light industry of car parts in front was really nice. The free drinking water was a nice touch.
• Valerie (8/5): Great option in Kukes - Very nice couple who speak english. They are so polite and helpful. Hotel is out of the centre so it's really quiet and peaceful. The room was clean. I would definetly recommand :)

• Monika (7/5): Good - The host was very welcoming. He picked us up from the airport and showed us a place where we could eat dinner. The room where we stayed was very clean. There were towels in the closet. The night was very hot and it was a petty that there was no air conditioning or even a fan. The building is located near a main road so it was too loud sometimes, considering the open windows. The Wi-Fi connection is okay. The host always responded right away and he even helped us to get to the bus station. He also apologised about the air conditioning, he said it is soon to be built in and he gave us a little discount, because of the missing fan. Overall, if I was to stay in Kukes one more time, I’d definitely consider to go to Arbis guesthouse!
• Edin (6/5): Expensive, not comfortable, try with local hotels (if you are a solo traveler) - The place was very clean and the owner was helpful. He arranged a taxi for me to cross the border of Kosovo for a fair amount of money. He speaks good English which is rare to find in Albania. I was welcomed by the owners kid (10 years old) and did payment with the kid. Beds and mattresses were so uncomfortable. The location is a bit outside the city centre. There weren't any facilities like the kitchen, kettle, glasses, spoons, nothing (only fridge). The Internet was not so good but the situation was solved by connecting to the neighbours WiFi. The view from the window was the wall to the neighbours building. The stay was pretty much expensive for a standard of living in Kukës. You can find cheaper places in cities like Skopje, Prizren, or even in Brussels where I stayed for 17€ a night. That cannot be compared to undeveloped Kukës.
• Jenny (8/5): Very good - All the rooms are different. We had the best one which is big, spacious especially the bathroom and very bright with a big window and a nice view. Arbi is very friendly and gives support wherever needed. There was construction for other rooms around during our stay. The center is nearby. It is more like a private rental. Not really a guesthouse as used to. The minibus stop is also not far. There is no European toilet.
• Aneta (10/5): Exceptional - The host is very very helpfully. He took me at the airport, ordered me pizza, helped me with plane ticket, gave me beer 🍻😀 and took me back to the airport.
• Simek (8/5): Solid choice - Extremely helpful host, easy to talk to, will help as much as he can with everything. The apartments, although rather basic, are very clean. WiFi is a bit spotty unless you go outside. But the host is constantly improving the place so I guess he might replace it soon.
• Tereza (10/5): Exceptional - Extremly kind and helpful host. Even though we were one hour late, he was waiting to accommodate us. Moreover, he gave us a ride to a shop and to the airport in the morning. The apartment itself was very nice and clean. It’s a new apartment, everything you need is there.
• Mamulová (10/5): The best apartment in kukes - The host, his super kind attitude and his terrific apartment mansion. Alarm in a separate building in the middle of the night. :)

He gave us additional blankets which were very helpful. - 10 min walk to the central bus station. - there's a little heater in the room. - it was freezing inside the room. Price is reasonable because there's no AC in a room. So get ready for a cold night.
