- Jade (5/5): Good for a short stay. - Great location, host was friendly and reachable. Terrace looked nice but unfortunately we couldn’t enjoy it due to rain. No smoke alarm, drains smelled, leaky shower, no bathroom door, uncomfortable beds, cold room, toilet paper limited to one roll.
- marie (9/5): Lovely room great location - It was a comfortable room and a great location so close to the tube line would definitely book again the WIFI on the first night the password wouldn't work but in the morning it all worked well
- nicholas (7/5): - The location was great, easy to find and ideal for us Nice and clean

- Hazel (10/5): Great Location! Great Value! - The property manager could not do enough. Very pleasant and helpful! I would highly recommend. The location is perfect. So close to everything. And the terrace is such a lovely place to hang out. The stairs were difficult for me. But the property manager helped me with my luggage. So it worked out great.
- Jamie-lee (7/5): Get location and a lovely host but needs some refurbishing. - Excellent location and a friendly, helpful host. It needs quite a bit of work doing to it as it’s showing some serious signs of wear and tear, for example the window could do with replacing and a new roller blind needs fitting, the board from the plinth under the shower needs to be replaced as it’s fallen off leaving the pipes exposed and a folding door on the ensuite rather than a shower curtain would be better.
- Yongshao (9/5): Superb -
- Sarah (5/5): Location good - The location was good for what we wanted to do in London. The shower was good There was no curtain in the main room and this impacted our sleep during the whole stay.
The check in process wasn't what I'd call a comfortable experience but once we were in it was fine.
Be aware that if you're hoping to park on streets nearby, you may be circling a while. Very busy road and not easy to park.
- Sheena (6/5): Cute stay, could’ve been more clean. - The property is exactly how displayed in the pictures. Like every other review mentions, there was no bathroom door, I don’t think this was mentioned. Also this particular room is under the stairs so the footsteps will be a real trouble, cause it’s really loud. The location was good with many stores but gets isolated in the night so be prepared if you’re returning or leaving late night. There are stores nearby, grocery and restaurants. When we entered we wanted to use the toilet as we were leaving for the Christmas market, and we noticed that there was pee. We flushed and wiped and used them and left within 15 minutes and then we came back late in the night around 10 PM and noticed poop inside the commode, we were a bit taken aback not because it was used but we weren’t sure if someone entered our room without notifying us. Not sure how that was there but can’t really blame anyone.
We didn’t use anything, not the towels nor the other complimentary items because we weren’t sure if they had been changed as there was dust collected on everything. The room does get cold and the electric heater doesn’t work well to warm the room. They have a centralised heater but that doesn’t heat up much either. They did provide iron, hair dryer, water, drinks and snacks, not sure if they were complimentary and the hair dryer had some kind of mold or dirt at the back so didn’t use it. If you just need a place to stay at night, this is a good option.
- Amanda (6/5): Amazing location, but the room could be better - The apartment is in an excellent location - extremely close to Kentish Town St. Right now, the underground station is closed, but you can use the trail that is next to it. The room had 2 good beds, with nice sheets and also clean towels. The room lacked window blackout, and there's also no bathroom door (just a simple curtain). I missed the blackout a lot because the room is on the 1st floor and the window is exposed to those outside, besides the sunlight that disturbed sleep. I was able to partially attach my towel to get some cover, but it was not ideal. Another point is that when the bathroom light turns on, the extractor fan also turns on and is very loud. Could also have a TV.
- Valerie (5/5): Ok - unhelpful just when we were locked in, we had to rely on the people in the flat above to let us out by pushing the - Paid extra for upgrade to get more space, dishwasher, kitchen Bathroom - door locked so could not get out without someone letting us out. Inadequate fire escape possibilities
- Mcgirr (9/5): Superb -
- L (5/5): Adequate - Price was ok, was clean, plenty of heating available and was needed as freezing outside but the gap in the window must lose alot of your heating? and close to all amenities. Electric blankets were a surprise but very grateful. The room is very unfinished, some DIY needed desperately and rugs, carpet? Floors were cold, there is a gap in the window which is why it's so cold in the room? Some silicone would solve this and the blind needed changing. The shower was great! Maybe a shelf in there to hold shampoos?
- Terri (7/5): The room was great to put out heads down, we spent most of our time exploring London :) - We met John in the shop at the front of the building and he showed us around the room. Everything was very clear. The room was exactly what we expected. Overall, an enjoyable stay! The bathroom door was a shower curtain, but it did the job!
- Xiaodong (10/5): Exceptional -
- Stanislav (5/5): Passable - Location No toilet door and it was always cold in the room.
- Ailsa (1/5): Bad - The smoke alarm was disconnected and there were exposed wires in the bathroom.
- West (10/5): Exceptional -
- Monty (7/5): Good -
- Stefan (7/5): Good -
- Miguel (10/5): Exceptional - Great location. Metro at two minutes from the apartment.
All necessary for few days.
- Marleen (4/5): Disappointing - The location very close to Kentish Town station is easily accessible and there are some nice restaurants and shops around. I also really enjoyed the heated mattress! The check-in was incredibly complicated. I had to go somewhere, call someone ahead (potentially problematic without having a UK phone), then wait outside a shop to be picked up and brought to the actual place. Also, I was asked to pay a deposit of 200GBP via bank transfer days before without any sort of reassurance, and although I had already paid the entire stay weeks ago. I could have also paid cash there but they were not able to give me a receipt directly for the deposit. This made me feel extremely uncomfortable, and they became very rude! In the end, I had to pay the deposit via bank transfer (as as a foreigner I had no GBP on me and also didn't want to get cash because that would have just meant paying exchange fees and then again afterwards to change it back as I left the UK directly after my stay), but get way less back than I paid, which might be due to addition International transfer fees. So this was a very unpleasant experience, I paid extra and honestly, 200 GBP its absolutely excessive considering the room... it is tiny, cold, dark, the bathroom only has a curtain and no door, and it is basically under some old wooden stairs so that it is super loud when people trample up and down those stairs.
- Peter (7/5): Good -
- Julie (1/5): squat living experience conditions - location everything apart from location
- Julie (6/5): good location but very basic - the location very basic. no fridge to keep milk for hot drinks. difficult getting deposit transferred back to my account after our stay involved sending a number of messages to get this done.
- Rory (8/5): Very good -
