Guest Reviews
- Maryna (10/5): - The location is perfect. It is very close to supermarket and close to bus stops to go everywhere.
When we arrived the weather became pretty cold. We contacted the apartments management and additional heating was immediately switched on for our comfort.
We were glad for immediate address of our concern
- Michael (10/5): Dublin trip - Lovely apartment very clean had everything you would need and comfortable beds. Nothing couldn't fault anything
- JAVIER (10/5): Excelente - Cumple totalmente con las expectativas Nada
- Luis Ángel (9/5): -
- Manero (9/5): Lovely - The design was awesome, and fits perfect for a group of 3 or 4 We were missing a plug on the toilet
There wasnt tea towels and sponges at the kitchen, to keep clean the house
Some of the pots (at the end of the drawer, probably from preavious tenants), were dirty, probably because the dishwasher was not enough to clean them

- Juliana Sofía (8/5): It is comfortable but needs some work put into it. - The place is very nice, has a lot of space and the garden is lovely. It could have been much more well equipped and clean. We spoke to the host and they helped us with some things we asked for. So, they are good at finding solutions. Can still be a much better place for what you are paying.
- Coady (10/5): - Super location and great facilities in quiet clean apartment. .great ground flat well kept with basic necessities.
Loved this cosy abode. Noise from water system but its nomal for these type of flats.
- Zoe (10/5): - Clean and spaciousness
Zdecydowanie polecam i chętnie wrócę ponownie!
- Krzysztof (9/5): Krótki pobyt w pięknym i malowniczym kraju, gdzie wszyscy starają się być mili i uśmiechnięci - Bardzo ładny i przestronny apartament, dobrze wyposażony i zadbany z małym ogrodem. W pobliżu znajdują się sklepy, McDonald i przystanki autobusowe. Dobra lokalizacja w spokojnej okolicy.
- Vinicio (10/5): Muy agradable - Si

- Wadey_Perth (10/5): Home away from home - The property is located exactly where I needed it to be. I grew up close by and was catching up with friends who still live in the area. The property is spacious and comfortable and having washing facilities made it all the better Nothing

- Raquel (10/5): - Excellent 10/10 We had a wonderful two-night stay at The Artane Self Catering. It was the perfect base for exploring Dublin without being right in the loud city center.
The unit itself was incredibly clean and modern. The biggest highlight was definitely the kitchen, which looked exactly like the photo—bright, spacious, and extremely well-equipped. It had everything we needed to prepare meals, which saved us money and made our stay feel very comfortable and homey.
Check-in was smooth and easy, with clear instructions provided beforehand. While the location is outside the immediate city action, the neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, and we found navigating into the center via local transport straightforward.
If you are looking for a clean, comfortable, and well-appointed place to stay for a short break in Dublin, I would highly recommend The Artane Self Catering.
The wall decoration caught my attention that's give me a good vibes.
- Derrick (9/5): Loved the house.rooms were spacious for two couples. It was very clean. Nice, quiet neighborhood. Good pub, coffee sho - It was adorable. Even better in person. The rooms were large. Bed’s comfy. Shower and bathroom were great. While I totally understand not having access to the heating, people think it’s like a hotel and don’t care if they leave the heating running while gone etc. however, when you need the heat on for a pretty good reason and ask. And 3 hours later it’s still not on, I have issue. Not a deal breaker, but it was disappointing. A bit far from city center, Keep in mind it added about $20-25eur each way in taxi charges per day.
- Sherry (9/5): We had a great stay. Good access to the bus and the tube. Lots of good restaurants near by. - Great location! Very convenient. Water pressure was low in the shower. Directions for the washer/dryer would have been helpful!

- Patricia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lauren (10/5): Exceptional - We were treated with kindness and hospitality by our hosts and everyone in Ireland. The location was perfect, and the accommodations were clean and inviting. Will be seeking a follow up stay here!! We had no complaints. Everything was perfect, and everyone so welcoming.
- Jane (6/5): Good out of town location with parking, but some work to do on comms and upgrading of accommodation - Good out of town location with parking (which we didn't use in the end) plus short walk to busses (on Malahide Road) and 2 euro 20 min ride to Dublin City. Also had nearby Tesco (5 min walk) for supplies. We didn't experience any noise from upstairs accommodation.
Fairly well equipped kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine tablets which aren't usually provided. Beds were comfy Check in Communications were unnecessarily cumbersome and responses to information requests - eg best way to travel from airport- were unhelpful.
The beds were fairly comfy and the flat was generally clean however, some items in need of repair/replacement (eg blind in bedroom) and some general TLC/upgrading needed throughout.
- Luba (9/5): Superb -
- Subramanian (7/5): Good -
- Kaja (10/5): Exceptional -
- Joanna (10/5): Exceptional -
- Calvin (9/5): Superb -
- Harrison (10/5): It’s home away from home - The property is just like your personal home. It’s clean and spacious also very well equipped Just the heating system
- Joanna (10/5): Exceptional - The location was great everywhere close.Very nice apartment i will be back there for sure
- Marcos (7/5): Good -
- Jenny (8/5): Very good - Very well appointed kitchen, dedicated parking spot It was cold & there were no extra blankets & the heaters were locked in off position. Broken blinds.
- Nancy (7/5): Cold, but cute. - The place was well stocked, very clean and just a comfortable and cute place generally. We had no way of turning the heat on, however, and when we asked for help from a bot, we received a YouTube video that informed us the temperature is controlled remotely and goes on a few times only during the day. We arrived in the late evening and it was frigid, and the heaters were ‘locked’ at 17 or 14 degrees with no way to get them to turn on. Instead of recognizing we were uncomfortable and completely ignored overnight when we noted the heating problem, we were told we hadn’t switched the heaters on when clearly they were on. Just the temperature controls were disabled. AND the heaters never came on in the morning, either. Attitude and the lack of customer service.
- Barbara (9/5): Superb - Well-equipped apartment in quiet area, shops located in walking distance, close to bus stops, so you can easily travel to Dublin City Centre.
- Luis (10/5): Exceptional - Nice, spacious and clean. Nothing
- Susan (10/5): Amazing apartment in lovely quiet neighbourhood - We booked 4 nights at The Artane and absolutely loved it. Situated in a quiet residential neighbourhood this apartment impressed us all. Check in and communication was great with a key box just outside front door. Big spacious bedrooms, very large bathroom, a big kitchen with absolutely everything you could need; breakfast bar and lounge with huge tv. Through the patio doors off lounge was a really cute garden with picnic table. There is a Lidl and Tesco 10 mins walk away and buses that run regularly through to the Centre of Dublin that took around half hour. We found the best Indian restaurant the Taza Artane just 10 minutes walk away, you do need to book even on a week night as it is so popular. Would 100% recommend this apartment to anyone! Loved everything!
- Mary (9/5): Superb -
- Michelle (10/5): An extremely enjoyable experience and we will definitely be back again. - The property was very well presented and clean. The hosts were extremely helpful with the check in and check out process. Any queries were answered quickly and efficiently. The property is well situated 10 minutes from the city centre and the buses run every 10 minutes so very easy to get in and out of the city centre. Tesco and Lidl are a 2 minute walk away making it easy to get the essentials in.
- Tina (10/5): Very comfortable and well equipped apartment - Loved the layout, beds were really comfy. Kitchen was well equipped and very quiet Nothing really, although the bathroom could with a bit of an update and some garden furniture would not go amiss
- Λοραξ (10/5): Exceptional - Location is convenient, Tesco/Lidl in walking distance, several bus routes also in walking distance or good connections.
Not in the centre so it is pretty chill.
Marked parking spot for the car.
- Corvin (10/5): Really spacious, clean and would stay again! - The place was very spacious and the beds were really comfortable. Everything you could possibly need was there which was a really nice touch. It even has a cute backyard which was nice to sit and eat breakfast in. Be prepared to spend $25-$30 on an uber each way when you want to go to Temple Bar or anything around that area. Also, traffic seemed really bad around this location so prepare for a long wait for any uber you order.
- David (10/5): Good clean relaxing place to stay - Good Clean apartment
Plenty of space
Everything you need and quick to respond to any questions
And allocated parking
What more can you ask for
Will definitely be using this again Nothing
- Samantha (8/5): Very good -
- Roslan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gregor (9/5): Superb - Good location in calm neighborhood. Lidl store in nearby. Around 10min walk to public transport station.
Apartment was clean, tidy, enough of space for two couples. We did not use the kitchen, but it seemed big enough with enough equipment for making proper meals. Maybe the bathroom needs some update - a shower cabin would be preferred. Also bigger water boiler for heating the water would be great.
- Sandra (10/5): Exceptional - Apartment was lovely very clean and had everything you would need a home from home
- Felicitas (10/5): Exceptional - I like everything. The only one that I didn't like is the space provided for us is occupied so we have to park the car in a different space which I'm worried that our car will be clamped.
- Mark (5/5): Good location, but accommodation was underwhelming - Location is great for a very short drive into Dublin.
Also well serviced with shops and several supermarkets within walking distance.
It was reasonably clean. The property is clearly someone's home that they have got a management company to run as a holiday apartment for them while they are away. Hence, there are used items in cupboards and the fridge/freezer. Rooms are a weird design and feel small and pokey. Bed was very uncomfortable. All three guests did not feel comfortable.
The stove hob wasn't working for some cooking, but the management company sent a maintenance guy and he also confirmed it was dead and we left him to it while we went into Dublin. Later, got a message with instructions on how to use it, even though the maintenance guy had confirmed it wasn't working and we'd already tried to use it as instructed. Hey ho.
On arrival, the allocated parking was occupied, even though I had a permit. All around the facility, there are signs warning that clamping/towing is in force. When told that the allocated space was occupied, the property management people said it was fine, just park anywhere outside the property. Really? With all the warning signs around? Given I'm taking the ferry with my car in a day or two, I'm not risking it being towed away with all the hassle of getting it back and potentially missing the ferry. Had to park away from the facility on a main road until the final night when the car occupying the allotted spot had gone.
Dublin was fabulous, but other than the location, I didn't really care for this place and the attitude about the parking really riled me.
- Louise (9/5): Perfect for families - Good location to travel around. Good safe quiet area and spotlessly clean Nothing really
- David (8/5): Great apartment, steep security deposit - Good value, good facilities, well stocked kitchen, very clean and responsive staff. Security deposit is way too high, refunded in full but double the price of the stay.
- Ciara (8/5): Very convenient and I would stay here again. - A spacious, comfortable apartment that had everything we needed. Check in was a little tricky as I had to check in online and it wouldn’t work. The host was able to sort it out through direct messaging, which was a relief.
There was an issue with parking where somebody took our allocated spot. I messaged the host and got no reply, which was frustrating. We had to park in somebody else’s spot but luckily we didn’t get clamped.
- Lois (10/5): Comfortable stay in spacious Dublin apartment - Spacious comfortable apartment in pleasant suburban location. Very easy to catch a bus into the city centre, supermarkets are very close by. We also enjoyed visiting the local coffee shop each morning after breakfast at home.
This apartment is very well equipped, we only dined out one night out of our four in Dublin, after a visit to the supermarket we were able to make a very tasty easy meal at the apartment for the other three nights.
The apartment had plenty of storage for our food and luggage.
We would highly recommend this apartment when visiting Dublin. Nothing
- Блажко (10/5): Exceptional -
- Johann (8/5): Very good - Clean and comfortable. Quiet neighbourhood.
Efficient staff. Coffe machine wasnt working. Some travel to the city.
- Jacek (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michelle (10/5): Great apartment near the airport - Nice facilities. Comfortable. Nice to have assigned parking. Good communication. Nothing
- Kathryn (7/5): overall our stay was great. Staff was quick to respond to messages and the place was comfortable, conviently lovated - was easy to access busses to get to the city, Lidl and other grocery stores very close by, kitchen was equipped with what we needed shower is electric and took a while to heat up, then you’d have to choose between either hotter water or a higher water pressure
- Nicola (8/5): Very good -
- Stefan (7/5): Good -
- Joanie_k (8/5): Very good - Comfortable and clean and easy to find. Near DCU which was great for our requirements.
Efficient checkin/checkout process which is always good.
- Vanda (5/5): it was expensive and not much to do in that area. We was a short taxi drive away from the centre. however I wish I booke - it was big enough for 4 nights and it had a garden the wardrobes smelt of damp so we had to hang our clothes around the property. the beds were rock hard and all of us struggled to have a good sleep. one of us had to sleep on the sofa which was more comfy than the beds! we stayed to give the cleaner the keys back as we had no instructions were to leave them when we checked out. The cleaner told us we had ten mins to get out, which we didn't need as we was ready to leave asap. in this time they contacted the person who was letting the apartment out and we got a rude email telling us we needed to leave! we had already left and this wasn't needed.
- Parkes (8/5): Very good -
