Castle Hotel Employees are customer service focused and do their utmost to ensure your stay is enjoyable. The delicious hot or continental breakfast that is included with your accommodations is a huge bonus. We thought the Castle Hotel was good value.

- PATRICIA (10/5): - Excellent place, in a very convenient location, very clean, with very nice atmosphere and very happy and helpful staff. The food in the hotel restaurant was amazing and the cheapest in town! 😀 We will definitely go there again!
- Anna (8/5): - Ottima colazione, buon servizio di pulizia.

- Maeve (10/5): I hade a lovely time, the front desk were charming! - Easy to find, central in the city, easy to get to transit It’s a wee bit cold, but the staff was very accommodating and brought a heater!
- Edit (9/5): - A reggeli bőséges, finom. A környék semdrd, biztonságos,

- Jordan (10/5): A great place to stay when visiting Dublin. - The building is classic and pleasant. It's close to the city center/buses to the everywhere. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Also the options for breakfast were wonderful. Our room was very cozy and private.

- Carla Irma (8/5): - Posizione, colazione e accoglienza Riscaldamento
- Sandra (9/5): -
- IMMACOLATA (8/5): Clima freddo in soffitta! Ottima colazione!
- Geraldine (8/5): -
- Jacques (8/5): -
- Cooper (10/5): A perfect setting for visiting Dublin for the first time or a return trip! - Included breakfast was a bonus! The location is perfect to explore Dublin on foot or by public transportation. The apartments are lovely and have everything one could need, and the staff is wonderful. We had a perfect stay and will return!
- Dylan (1/5): -
- Kathleen (7/5): Aangenaam verblijf - Vriendelijk personeel, uitgebreid ontbijt.
Skorzystam ponownie.
- Gerry (9/5): Great for a short stay - Location No windows opened
- Dave (7/5): Mostly good but the rubbish plumbing in the Mews flats let it down - again. - Breakfast choice is good, although it can get very crowded at peak times. Location is good, although our stay coincided with Dublin Bus making significant changes to their routes. Their App was poor the day before the main changes, and dire on the day. And they did it on a Sunday when there is NO support available. The hotel is of course up a steep hill so less able folks rely 100% on a bus service that is reliable and understandable. The mews rooms are nice and quiet but poorly equipped for modern expectations. Examples are - no teaspoons, no food bowls of any sort, no wine glasses (although there is a corkscrew so you can drink it out of the bottle), no coffee mugs, no teatowel, no washing up liquid, one worn out second hand pot scourer. Also the plumbing is sloppy and very unprofessional. Hot and cold water in kitchen are the wrong way round, tap is in the workspace and leaks so the workspace gets significantly wet. Very confusingly the supply in the bathroom is the right way round. Sometimes you have to run the shower ENDLESSLY to get the water hot - it was the same when we stayed in the same room a couple of years ago and is no better now. We reported on our first day that the shower tray did not run away but nothing was done so a few days later it caused a flood. We did warn you it would. The trap is filthy and is probably the problem
- Cecelia (9/5): All inclusive, comfortable stay close to anywhere you’d want to go in Dublin. - The tearoom and pub had excellent food. Breakfast was delightful. The hotel was lovely and our room had plenty of space. Everything was accessible. Great location. We appreciated that we got fresh bottles of water each morning. We would have stayed again when we got back to Dublin, but the rates went up. The fan helped, but even with the windows open, it got stuffy at night.

- Viktoria (9/5): 9/10!!!!!!! (If you don’t care about the carpet stains) - The hotel even though it SEEMS to be an old building, the inside of the room is totally different. Renovated with fully equipped kitchen (I stayed at the apartment not the hotel “room”). The staff was kind and helpful and the checked in for housekeeping everyday. The breakfast buffet was really good with a lot of options. The heating inside the room can be turned on manually but once you turn it on the whole room heats up really fast. Water pressure was also really good, I have been to other properties which the water pressure was almost none existent. From city Center it’s 15 minute walk so no need for taxi or bus. Supermarkets are near by if anything is needed Just a few things, the carpet had stains and also and I think most important the soundproofing is kinda bad. I could hear both my “neighbours” and outside noise. Also in comparison to accommodations in Dublin it’s the most value for money.

- EMILIE (10/5): -
- Maia (10/5): This was my favorite hotel because of the location , friendly staff, very clean and comfortable room, and I could easily - It was nice and spacious and the staff were very nice and helpful. The breakfast was delicious.
- Heike (10/5): -
- Kamran (9/5): -
- Johnson (10/5): The Harry Clarke Mews and the staff of the Castle Hotel were just what we needed to maximize our enjoyment of Dublin and - We liked the idea of having a comfortable ’home base’ from which to go out and see the city and take tours further away and have the wonderful staff who could make recommendations. The breakfast was very good and a good way to start a day of touring. The mews aren’t directly attached to the hotel, but we were aware of that when we booked, so it wasn’t really a problem.
- Natasha (3/5): Wouldn't stay again - Staff were lovely The "apartment " was barely a room, very small, up 2 flights of stairs no good for ppl with mobility problems
- Michaela (9/5): - The staff, the food and entertainment, the main foyer, spaciousness of the apartment The back apartment area was older or a little ‘tired’, different style to the main building
- Heike (7/5): -
- clemente (8/5): - Posizione ottima Niente
- Lillian G (10/5): -
- L (9/5): Excellent, would return. - Brilliant location, staff very friendly and polite, comfortable room and bed. Delicious breakfast. Coffee nice and strong. No AC so was quite warm but this wasn’t really a problem because we just opened the windows.
- Kelleen (9/5): - The staff was wonderful. We stayed first in the hotel and then in the Harry Clarke Mews apartments. Both very clean. Some rooms very small but comfortable. Lots of breakfast choices included. Lots of stairs
- Alice (10/5): Good location, lovely apartment, very comfortable and clean. - Lovely apartment, had everything you needed for a few nights stay in Dublin. About 20 minute walk to centre of Dublin but great location for Croke Park. Had a lovely stay. N/A
- Roy (6/5): Convinient location for City. Overpriced for quality, not 4 Star. Area had lots of homeless people and drunks, didnt see - position was perfect for centre of Dublin it was too hot, no air circulation or conditioning. Very old buildings, not joined very well.
- JOSÉ LUIS (7/5): Be strong to open the doors of the apartment!! - Good breakfast and you could repeat ! The furniture in the apartment, it was not uniform and had different pieces and they looked like odds and ends!!
- David R (9/5): Great ambience and location - Just far enough away from the main drag. Lots of room. Great food and authentic live music. Great ambience but needed some upkeep. Also, no air conditioning means leaving windows open so the seagulls make sleeping difficult.
- Anindita (5/5): An okay stay - We stayed at Harry Clark Mews, part of the Castle hotel, and had a mixed experience. The apartment was spacious with minimal furnishings and the bed and sofa bed were comfortable. The small kitchen was a nice touch. Breakfast in the main building was very good. Location was convenient, with a bus stop nearby . This apartment building was at the back alleyway of the hotel. The garbage bins were located right in front of the apartment, which was unsightly and bothersome. Additionally, the view from the windows was not great, overlooking the parking lot and the back of the building.
- James (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ray (10/5): GREAT STAY IN DUBLIN - Having on site breakfast and dinner was very nice. Very quiet and clean. Very nice stay.
- Adele (3/5): Will never return - Not much We had a room off the alley, it was noisy with staff emptying bottles right under our window. On our first night this was done at 1 am 🤬 We constantly had an issue with the hot water service, there was mould in the shower, the kitchen sink was stained to which I cleaned it myself. I requested a box of tissues but was left a note to say they don’t have any. So many other little things and this place is listed as a 4 star establishment NO WAY!!!!!! This would be a 2 star at best. We did make several complaints and the assistant manager was very understanding and compensated us.
- Annette (8/5): Very good -
- Patrick (8/5): Very good -
- Ann (7/5): Good -
- Chantelle (7/5): Good - It was very easy to check in and out, the desk staff were lovely and the cleaning was done daily which was nice. The apartment suited our needs, the kitchen was great with the full sized fridge and the bed was very comfortable. The little additions of water and the extras provided were also pleasant. There were no extra pillows/blankets, the cutlery/kitchenware was sorely lacking with only two cutlery sets available as well as limited crockery. We were given a tea towel on our second day after using the bathroom towels the previous day for dishes as there is nowhere to drain dishes. The service at breakfast could have been better, we ended up leaving without breakfast after being ignored in favour of a guest who came at least 10mins after us.
- Costas (8/5): Very good - Excellent breakfast, nice restaurant, helpful staff, spotless, everyday new bottles of water were provided, nice main building The room was located in a nearby building where a low frequency noise was noticeable
- Theresa (9/5): It was the perfect location for us. It was within walking distance of everything we want to do. - Breakfast was good. Their garbage garage door was right below us and it was noisy many times during the evening.
- Jason (10/5): Exceptional -
- Oluwaseun (9/5): coming back soon - nice perfect
- Karen (9/5): Superb -
- Ketelbey (5/5): A comfortable stay but not good value for the money - The room was overlooking a back alley. We were confronted with the noise of bins being rolled out every night
The room was excessively priced for what we got
- Jeanette (8/5): Great location, nice staff. - Great location, great breakfast, helpful friendly staff. Room was comfortable, great shower. Lobby of the main hotel reeked of smoke. Description mentioned 14 steps, it was actually 2 flights of 14 steps each which was tough with luggage. Mirrors in the room were oddly placed so you couldn’t stand up while looking in them. Booked 2 rooms and only one of them had the coffee/tea setup.
- Priyanka (7/5): Good -
- James (5/5): No effort - This was advertised as an appartment, its in need of refurbishment, .
The cost was ridiculous, the stale look of the inside reminded me of a bedsit from the 70s.
The advertisement is totally misleading...a waste of money All of it
- Anthony (10/5): Exceptional -
- John (8/5): Yes, would stay there again - Breakfast was very good. Central location. No complaints
- Jennifer (9/5): Superb -
- Wood (9/5): Superb -
- Mauricio (9/5): Superb -
- Gerard (8/5): Friendly staff, excellent service, lovely older building full of history. - Breakfast was really nice, service was lovely. Reception staff were excellent, warm, helpful. Room in The Mews was very spacious, spotlessly clean. Bed was comfortable. Very little noise from outside, Barr sea gulls in the morning but that's expected in Dublin City centre. Room was quite cold on arrival. One radiator in such a spacious room so took a while to heat up. TV stations very poor choice, only rte, Virgin and TH4, definitely would have expected more of a variety in 2025.
