Guest Reviews
- Johanna (5/5): Passable - Bathroom door blocked by bed so had to squeeze in past door handle through small gap.
Toilets on stairs outside several properties on way to top floor.
Broken window unable to fully close to block out street noise.
Gapping around door frame (top, sides and base) meant disturbed sleep every time landing light went on.
- Marion (2/5): Towels and bedding were dirty and no toilet paper plus door to bathroom only opened 12 ins - The linen and towels were dirty from previous person. no toilet paper. Bins full
- Phyllis (8/5): The flat has been described accurately & honestly. - The flat was described very accurately and honestly. Excellent location for all kinds of public transport - buses, tubes & trains giving easy access to anywhere in London. Small supermarket nearby & plenty of restaurants. A light room, overlooking a little green square, sunny in the afternoon. Lots of hangers in the wardrobe, an iron & ironing board, hairdryer, 2 hobs, a microwave, kettle, toaster, 2 saucepans & a frying pan. Plenty of space to store luggage - under the bed, under the kitchen surface, in the bottom of the wardrobe. The staircase is rather narrow & there are 82 stairs to the flat. Okay if you are fit & without heavy luggage. No mirror, although enough wall space to provide a full-length one. No kitchen utensils - not even a sharp knife or a tin opener.
- Iria (6/5): Well located studio near Paddintong Station - Well located Old building, you can hear the other residents at night, very small room
- Julian (2/5): Do not stay here! - I didn’t even stay here, I left in my first night. Although the area is quite nice, once you enter the building you feel very unsafe and uncomfortable since cameras are the only things giving any kind of sense of security and there is no one from the hosts readily available. The building seems to be partly in renovation, the doors are thin and you can only lock them with a regular key. The bathroom is very tiny. The mattress was terrible and when small bugs came out of it, I decided not to stay any longer and I left before even spending one night there.
- Nobuyuki (6/5): Simple room, Reasonable cost. I hope bed would be softer. - Simple small room with shower and toilet. Reasonable cost. Quiet place. Contact to manager is relatively quick well (such as heater is prepared in the next night). It is easy to buy food and breakfast at market shops on the street. Bed is hard for me. Forth flower is hard work for me to carry a heavy suit case. It is good to add tissue box.
- Igbal (6/5): Pleasant - Easy to make check in and out. Windows not closed properly.
In flat there was no mirror to shave
- Nisar (6/5): It was okay. - It was close to tmy training place Climbing four floors, the pedestal fan
- Yevhen (9/5): Superb -
- Evan (6/5): OK for the price - but wouldn’t take much to help sleeping as well - Good location, security, information Terrible mattress and pillows. Common parts run down
- Maxim (7/5): Good -
- Jasmine (9/5): cozy and compact in a great location - had all the amenities I needed , and was a good location, not too far from the train station and tube due to being on the top floor it was really warm in the evening due to summer weather . The fan available was good but it was not very ventilated at the hottest part of the night . toilet was also tiny !
- Hugh (1/5): Never found. Please refund money.
No address given . When I phoned was either engaged or didn't wo - I did not even find the place No idea
- Lee (6/5): Pleasant -
- Teresa (1/5): Bad - Could not turn the radiator off,and extractor fan in bathroom had exposed bare electrical wires, also cockroaches in the hallway, and no mirror
- Anne (1/5): Bad - nothing. This place was horrible and very dirty in the building and I’m so scared and very narrow stairs.
I couldn’t stay even though I booked two nights.
And I had to book and move to an another hotel, I have never ever experienced this before.
I really hope that the owner understand this striation.
- Ariff (9/5): Superb -
- Tracy (7/5): Perfectly adequate apartment for solo traveller, no real complaints, I’d stay again. - Good location, clean, comfortable enough. I like having a stovetop and fridge. No mirror for shaving, setting water temperature in the shower was a bit tricky at first. No subdued lighting option.
- Ian (9/5): Superb -
- Piñero (4/5): Disappointing -
- Sai (5/5): Passable -
- Jane (2/5): Very poor -
- Perpetua (3/5): You get what you pay for - I liked that the wifi worked and the location and the little kitchen and to be able to do a load of laundry The building looks like a work in progress - the door leading to my staircase to room was literally hanging from the hinges, extremely dangerous Some of the carpet on thestairs not properly fastened so a definite trip hazard. There were no supplies in the shower - not even soap - bacterial handsoap in kitchen but can't use that in shower The laundry room was FILLED with water on the floor - yes, understand due to the rain we've had but strange not to find a way to sort it. Whole building seems neglected.
- Laszlone (1/5): It is UNBEARABLE! I wanted to contact the owner, but I couldn't .. phone was not connected, - nothing! I spent 4 ninghts there, but I couldn't sleep at all, because of the bed! It was unbearable. The mattress springs were broken, and the center of the mattress was lower!!. The staircase was so dirty and smelly, it was so narrow upstairs with no lights! I don't suggest for anybody this place.
I wrote to the owner, but they lied.
- Elsie (9/5): Superb -
- Christopher (1/5): Bad -
- Dima (9/5): Superb -
- Noa (7/5): Good - The location It's an attic and a little bit claustrophobic.
- Edward (1/5): very uncomfortable - The run down nature of the apartment
- Stephanie (1/5): horrible - the location It was on a 4th floor with no lift, the room smelled terrible, it was very small barely any space in the bathroom, no night lamp, no bedding just a duvet, and to top it up there was a MOUSE that frightened the life out of me and forced me to check out the same day at 11:30 pm
- Leah (7/5): Overall, good - All the facilities worked well and it’s in a great location, easy to commute around London. I was there during the heatwave so the apartment was hot all the time, even during the night
- Germans (8/5): Very good -
- Coughlin (2/5): I just wanted to leave - cheap There was no lock on the window and the shower was a hazard in itself along with some visible wires I microwave that felt like it was gonna overheat in any second absolutely no towels and I just felt unsafe the entire time I was there
