- Michaella (10/5): Absolutely perfect place to stay near Hyde Park - We are so happy with our experience at Maisonette. It is a gorgeous home that is elegant, clean, well cared for, and comfortable. Our group was in London to celebrate a special occasion and our host made sure our time at the property was perfect. She greeted us personally when we arrived and gave us a tour as well as showed us how work things such as the privacy window shades and the thermostat (super helpful!). She was also available by chat at any time, and checked in to make sure our stay was going well and to see if we needed anything. I definitely hope to stay here again in the future.
Some highlights of this home for us were the very nice en-suite bathrooms with showers in all the rooms, the washer and separate dryer, the lovely living room space (so large and yet cozy), the outdoor space, the temperature control, the
comfortable beds, the host, and the location. I honestly can’t think of a single negative thing.

The location is second to none—set on the beautiful, quiet road of Craven Hill Gardens, just a five-minute walk from Hyde Park. Despite being so central, the apartment remains wonderfully peaceful.
The owner/host was truly outstanding—warm and accommodating. The hospitality made the experience seamless.
For a first-class stay in London, this apartment is an absolute gem. I cannot recommend it highly enough and will definitely be returning!
- Maxime (1/5): Terrible, awful, the owner was a crook, thief. - At first, I like the pictures I saw online. It looked like it had some personality. But once in the property I realised a lot of the furniture were scratches. On the wooden dinning table, there were a big stain the supposedly owner tried to hide with a tissue box. After that incident, I understood I could not trust the “owner”. But once in the property I realised a lot of the furniture were scratches, had marks on them. The walnut dinning table in the lounge had a large water mark, that the owner tried to hide with a tissue box. After that incident and once I found out, I realised I could not trust the owner of this property.
I had the property for 8 days at a cost of £12,000.00 and after originally meeting the owner, I set up a few things with her like daily cleaning etc…
I also insisting on the owner to not come to the property once everything which needs explanation was pass on.
The owner disobeyed completely that simple rule and was there nearly everyday. My staff tried to make her understand that she shouldn’t be here, but decided to ignore him and do as she pleased.
The heating was not working properly, the house was not check properly with many lightbulb not working.
The owner was highly unprofessional.
Towards the end of the stay, my guests were leaving on the 03/01, the owner went to visit them the evening after 8pm to ask them to leave the day after before 11 am, creating a feeling of distress among the family who was staying, revealing to them she owned the place!
My booking was finishing on the 04/01/24 at 11 am check out, but the owner decided she wanted my guests out the day before. I was in dismay, I could not believe this was happening. My guests were my priority and this lady break my booking agreement plus so many other rules certainly because she was booking the place again.
I believe the lady didn’t owned the property but rented it at a deflated price and rented it through this platform at an inflated price.
I paid £12,000.00 for 8 days which ended up being 7 days.
The owner owed me a day rent which I will try to get back through the booking.com.
Shocking shocking was the feeling I was left with.
There are crooks around, please be aware!
