• Christopher (4/5): Adequate for a one night stop for the ExCel centre. - The staff member who met me was very polite and helpful. The lift was out of order, the apartment was on the 10th floor. The pillowcases were stained. There was a strong smell of smoking in the stairwell.

• James (1/5): Disgusting waste of money - . It was dirty, tired looking and beyond basic amenities. With stains all over the floor and blinds it looks like the property hasn’t had any maintenance for a very long time. The heating was also not working and with single glazed windows you get a cold draft and all of the road noise come through at night. The ‘apartment’ is also clearly one which they’ve split into multiple small units on the cheap, it’s no bigger than a hotel room at best and wires everywhere in the room where they’ve plugged in a fridge and microwave to give a poor excuse of a kitchen (they’re just randomly placed in the corner of the room) It was genuinely the worst place I’ve stayed, I would never recommend this place to anyone.
• Liz (5/5): Comfortable stay great location but safely issues - Location superb. 1 minute walk to Excel Potential to be fabulous room. But …. Comfortable bed Amazing views I had concerns The heating I assume not working as the man that took me to the room got a plug in heater and plugged in to warm the room. When I switched off before going out the plug and the wire had both heated up. I advised the host on this and they came to check after I’d gone out and messaged to say it was safe. However I do not feel that plugs and wires should heat up and would question the safely ( potential fire risk)! The bedside light on the same side buzzed when turned on but did not come on. Towel rail also not coming on. But as generous supply of clean towels I just used a fresh one. I was concerned re how safe the door handle/ lock was. But it worked ok. The water from one of the two bathroom sinks ran out brown when I first turned it on ! I was concerned re the safety of this water. The TV didn’t work. Apparently they sorted this out. I rang the host and they came and checked everything but I do feel there were potential safety issues associated to the above. I had asked if they had any other rooms that I could move to but they didn’t. I do hope the hosts will act on all these things. Blinds all a bit tatty and 2 didn’t have the wires on to open / shut properly.

• Elisa (6/5): Non adatto ai deboli di cuore - Sarò sincera: la posizione è sicuramente la cosa più positiva di questo appartamento (sì, è un appartamento, non un hotel) perchè si trova a pochi passi dalla Royal Victoria e nei dintorni c'è un bar fantastico (Fratelli's) e la Tesco express! Anche i proprietari sono gentilissimi! Altre note positive sono: il wifi (ho letto nelle recensioni che non funziona, invece sì funziona anche molto bene), l'ombrello ahaha, l'adattatore per la presa europea, l'acqua calda ed internet sulla tv. Il risaldamento in stanza funziona, nel bagno no però si stava abbastanza bene. 1)Purtroppo la pulizia non ci è piaciuta, abbiamo trovato delle lenzuola sicuramente lavate ma con un po' di peli e macchie, c'era un bel po' di polvere nelle parti più nascoste. Non so se dipende dai nostri standard alti di igiene in Italia, o dal prezzo o da altro. 2)Per pulire la stanza ogni giorno bisogna pagare, ci può stare ma va specificato prima. 3)La struttura va rinnovata assolutamente. Insomma non è il massimo, ma a quel prezzo forse va bene... Consiglierei una maggior pulizia e un piano d'appoggio in bagno, anche al costo di un aumento del prezzo! Vi lascio le foto della vista dalla stanza e dei dintorni!.. stupendo

• David (8/5): Lots of space with a good view, in a block right near the Excel. Great for a conference - Simple accommodation with no frills and no fuss for a good price in a good location - just what I was expecting. In a hotel, the space available would have been huge. Some aspects were a little tired - the rug on the floor, the laminate flooring itself for example.

Room looked very worn out, stains on the floor everywhere, disgusting food stains on most of the white roller blinds, worn out bath room, smartlock of the door not working, messy electrical cabling, no housekeeping for entire stay (buy your own toilet paper)…
• Moayed (9/5): Great value for money - The staff is so friendly thanks to Raghad. The only thing is that you have to get to the first floor by climbing the external stairs off the main road then you take the lift to your flat. Otherwise, all was good .

• Niels (7/5): Nice views on a great location - If you are visiting the excel, this is a superb location. Some bards and a Tesco nearby. Walking distance from public transport. Perfect. The view is lovely from the 10th floor. The bed is on tight side for two persons but is a nice bed and good pillows. There is a ventilator and that helps a lot on warm days. Very friendly staff in checking The room needs maintenance. The flooring is scruffy and needs replacing. Bathroom shows numerous signs of old leakage which have been repaired but it doesn’t look fresh. While the cleaning was okay it’s these kind of marks that show age and scruffiness to the place

• Alison (8/5): Great location, great bed- perfect for work. - Located next to Excel, DLR & local eateries it is perfect for me whilst working at an exhibition, would also be good for a concert at the O2. Amazing bed- slept like a log- crisp linen & good shower, and great value for the location versus hotels in the area. Everything is suitable for a work stay. Comfortable & functional. It is just a no frills place. Which is fine for work, but I would probably want a few more luxuries if staying with my partner.

It was a lovely check-in experience. The room was really light and airy with floor to ceiling windows. nothing negative to say

• Iosif (5/5): Very disappointing-only good thing was the view - The view and the shower were the only nice things about this stay. All apartment is really run down. All window blinds are stained with food, wine splashes maybe. Furniture is stained around the tea making area. The heating in the bathroom did not work. The walls are all marked. Who knows last time they’ve been painted. Staff looked really bored about their job. Seemed like it was a burden to check us in later in the evening although we were within checking in times. Not spoken a word to us until we actually got to the flat and explained how everything works. Following day we had to chase them up several times to be able to check out and we waited around for nearly an hour until someone decided to come back to the office although the office was supposed to be open from 9am according to the instructions we got the night before. We travel extensively and we’ve never felt so awkward and unwelcome as we did here. Staff have a lot to learn about hospitality and customer friendliness. Would not recommend staying here at all!

Rey was an absolute star and went over and beyond to help us. Will definitely go back when in London next For this price range in London it would be hard to complain about anything. You get more than what you pay for

• Stephen (10/5): Perfectly located clean well stocked apartment with stunning views - The Apartment was great with fantastic views over London the Thames and O2, the room was spacious and had everything we needed, the bed was comfortable the room was warm The location is perfect with a 1 minute walk to the cable cars that took us over to the O2 for our concert We were met by a very helpful young man who Carried my suitcase and let us into the apartment He gave us our instructions and told us about the area All in all we had a tremendous stay in this lovely apartment We will definitely use this again The TV did not have an aerial so was only able to use streaming services To be honest we weren’t really interested in the tv

WE CHECKED IN AT AROUND 10 PM AND WENT FOR DINNER.... LATER WHEN WE CAME BACK TO CHECK IN AROUND 12:30 AM..THE ELECTRONIC LOCK DID NOT OPEN... WE WERE LOCKED OUT... WE CALLED THE HOTEL/APARTMENT TEAM FROM 1:00 AM ONWARDS AND FINALLY THEY TOOK OUR CALL AROUND 2:00 AM AND LATER AROUND 3:00 AM WE WERE CHECKED IN ANOTHER BUILDING ... ANOTHER APARTMENT WITHOUT OUR BASIX NECCESSITIES OR ANY LUGGAGE... WE COULD LATER CHECK IN NEXT DAY AROUND 11 AM ONLY TO OUR ROOM ... LOSING OUT 1/2 DAY OF WORK AND ALSO ENTIRE NIGHT WAS SPOLIT WITHOUT PROPER SLEEP AND NEXT DAY MONEY, TIME ALL WASTED.... NOW AWAITING BOOKING.COM TO PROVIDE PROPER COMPENSATION FOR ONE ENTIRE DAY LOST AND ALL SUFFERING
• Muhammad (6/5): Overall not very good experience. Will not recommend this property. - Good location. Clean. 1.TV was not having any channels at all. Staff office is away from the property and I was told to message them for any issue for which they did not reply. 2.Next day they started asking even before 9 am when I will check out . When check out time is 11 o clock why keep asking about leaving the property? 3. No toiletries in the bathroom.

• Ronald (8/5): Very good - Lovely views from apartment. Light and bright as windows all around (corner unit). Staff really excellent and helpful. Able to communicate via WhatsApp. Good there was a microwave (though didn’t use) Good there was a nice large fridge with small freezer shelf. Coffee, tea, milk sugar (brown and white) and biscuits supplied as well as kitchen roll and tea towel. Towels supplied. Large wardrobe. Location excellent. Very warm and No air conditioning working on our visit, which is a shame. We pulled down all the blinds and opened the windows but it wasn’t the most comfortable of nights as still very, very warm.

• Sarah (7/5): Basics covered, relatively good value- but some minor improvements needed - Location was good For the money paid, it had all the basics we needed TV didn’t work- unable to watch live TV via apps without it significantly lagging due to weak internet. Seemed ok if you were watching non live programming. Room was very hot. Appreciate it was a hot day (~25 degrees C) but that’s not excessively hot. A better fan would be well received Handles to bathroom and bedroom doors need looking at. They are wobbly, hard to use and offer low security. I got stuck in the bathroom at one point!

• Peter (8/5): Great location for both Excel and easy and quick access to Central London - Given excellent instructions to find the reception office. Very pleasant colleague, who then took us to both the parking space and to the room. Excellent location near to Excel centre (2 minute walk), Docklands Light Railway and Elizabeth line. 30 minutes to central London on super new trains. The quality of the room was a little worse than previous occasion. Obviously a little wear and tear. Door handle on bathroom and toilet seat both loose. Neither a major issue. Some noise from outside at night, People walking past. On flight path for London City so some noise from 07:00 until about 23:00.

• Nina (8/5): Great apartment, great value for money and a great nights sleep. - An excellent stay - I was met by a really friendly host who took me to the apartment which was a top floor penthouse. I had a great night sleep, it was so comfy and quiet. The Bathroom could do with updating, but other than that it was very good.

Non-functional lift on the first mornjng being on the 10th floor. 9. Difficulty reaching staff during check-out. 10. Issues with deposit retrieval. 11. Concerns raised about the request for full name and bank details for deposit transfer.

• Debsw1 (6/5): Lovely staff - The location is absolutely fantastic for excel or O2. The staff couldn't do enough for you. Nawfal kept in touch the whole time to make sure I didn't need anything. Super friendly and reassuring. Large TV with netflix and prime (don't use the tv remote buttons for this, search for apps from home screen on TV) Large fridge Panoramic view of the city. Late check out at £10 an hour Bed was very comfortable The blinds let in a lot of light so sleeping when it's light outside, for me was impossible. I'd recommend taking an eyemask. The white blinds were heavily stained which was off putting. One of the handles on the windows came off in my hand when I tried closing it. I, personally, would have appreciated more toiletries and a shower cap.

Close to where we needed to be. Most of our stay was great. Draft coming from the window. Blinds need deep clean or replacing. Couple cracked floor tiles. All mentioned to staff but none that effected our stay.
