- Lauren (4/5): Don’t bother - Location When booking, I ignored some of the poor reviews as I thought the owners would’ve likely rectified some issues, but don’t make the same mistake I did.
The check-in/check-out process was really inconvenient. I had to collect the key from a convenience store, a 10-minute walk away from the accommodation. I arrived at 2:54pm to collect the key and the cashier made me wait 6 minutes before giving me the key, even though he had it?? Then when checking out, you have 15-minutes to take the key back to the store after check-out, or you get charged £50. I dropped the key off and took a photo to prove it, as the charge threat had been voiced numerous times via WhatsApp, email and booking.com messages. I got a call at 10:16 saying I hadn’t given the key back and was threatened with a charge, so I was lucky I took the photo of proof!
I requested an extra bed, which was folded in the corner of the living room. When I unfolded it to make it, 2 springs were broken and sticking out (photo provided), so we couldn’t use it.
There was a coffee machine in the kitchen, but no coffee provided for the machine, so we couldn’t use it.
Basic things like hand soap weren’t provided. The shower water never got warm. The building is so noisy at night time - constant banging and footsteps. The WiFi network we were told to use didn’t come up as an option. I honestly couldn’t wait to check-out.
Communication with the owners felt really passive aggressive: “leave the property in an acceptable state”, “Returning the key is mandatory” and “only call for REAL emergencies”. Not friendly or warm at all.
Communication got confusing on the lead up to my stay, the owner messaged me on booking.com asking for my email and to complete a form. I do this, they email me and then send another message on booking.com that if I don’t send my email address, they won’t be able to provide me with check-in information, (which again, was passive aggressive).

We had issue with the bathroom shower drain which was blocked and every time we showered a flooding occurred .. no action taken by management even though we informed about the issue

Caution de 300£ prélevée sans aucune explication et vidéos de l'appartement prouvant son parfait état.....

El.dia de llegada te dicen qué apartamento te corresponde y está a más de 20 minutos andando. Luego tienes que recoger la llave en un 24 horas a otros 15 minutos del alojamiento. Las camas son incomodísimas, el sofá cama aún peor y además super sucio, la calefacción no funciona, los grifos del baño.gotean y se va el agua caliente, las almohadas sin comentarios,no tiene wifi, las escaleras de acceso un horror, muy ruidoso...Un desastre total y absoluto. Estéticamente precioso en las fotos pero un engaño total. No vayáis con niños

Need to check out by 10 and drop the key back by 10.15am or be charged £50 so you actually need to check out earlier to give yourself time to walk to the drop off.
Deposit felt excessive, £300 and took a long time to be returned and lots of chasing. The communication from the owners felt very aggressive lots of references to additional charges and not contacting them unless its a real emergency.
Accommodation had ants and could have been cleaner. No hand soap provided and no cloths to clean the kitchen. Location is great but it is really noisy particularly after 9pm.

La literie du canapé est un supplice. Très inconfortable. Les draps sont propres mais tâchés et les oreillers n'ont pas été changés depuis des années. The host deducted £300 from my deposit, claiming “smoking in the apartment.” The only evidence provided was photos of cigarette butts in rubbish bins and a vague claim of a “smell.” There was no clear proof of smoking inside the property and no actual damage shown.
Despite this, they applied a flat £300 charge with no itemised costs or justification—just a blanket deduction. When I tried to contact them to dispute it and request proper evidence, they completely ignored all communication.
This feels like an unfair and unjustified charge rather than a legitimate damage claim. I would strongly advise others to be cautious, as deposits may be withheld without proper evidence or transparency Terrible

Close to Central and Piccadilly line and therefore easy to navigate and to travel. Lot of small restaurants, bars and shops in walking distance, some of them literally next door. 2 separate bathrooms, good for larger group. Clean and comfortable beds. Clean towels. Good kitchen equipment. Exactly as described. Great price-value combo. Could use a general clean-up. Not that it was a dirty apartment, but things that are not done in everyday cleaning like wall paint or bathroom ventilation or washing machine. The TV is there but only like 4 canals work. Does not support Wi-Fi so if traveling with children, there was no way to play cartoons for them. Bit noisy due to its location, but our 1 and a half yo was sleeping well so It wasn't that bad as some reviews. The heating in 1 room was not working well. Other rooms were fine.

- Neumann (8/5): Ein in die Jahre gekommenes Apartment, welches aber den Zweck voll erfüllt. - In der Beschreibung stand nur 1 Bad, aber es gab ein Bad mit Dusche und ein Bad mit Badewanne.
Küche war gut und zweckmäßig ausgestattet.
Uns hat auch gefallen, das die Zimmer auf 3 Ebenen verteilt waren. Es könnte grundsätzlich mehr Sauberkeit vorhanden sein.
Das Apartment könnte etwas Frische vertragen. Farbe und neues Silikon in den Bädern.

La réactivité du personnel pour le prix que l’on paye est une vaste blague. Je pense que le minimum est de répondre à nos messages surtout quand on a pas d’eau chaude en pleine période de nouvel an. Faire l’aveugle n’est pas une solution. Je ne souhaitais pas apprendre à réparer une chaudière. De plus, l’isolation n’est pas bonne. Je conseille aux prochains de ne pas dormir proche d’une fenêtre mais plutôt à côté d’un chauffage

- Tracey (2/5): Extremely disappointed as and still no contact. - Location I would strongly advise against staying at this property. We had no hot water for two full days, meaning we couldn’t shower or even wash our hands properly during our stay.
When we contacted the property, instead of arranging a fix, we were sent a list of boiler checks to carry out ourselves. We spent well over an hour troubleshooting and adjusting thermostat settings and trying to fix the issue during what was meant to be a short 2-day break. This is completely unacceptable — guests should not be acting as maintenance staff.
They then refused to take any further action unless we sent a photo of the boiler. By that point we had already left the apartment. We asked where the boiler was located and received no response at all. We tried calling (voicemail full), texting, WhatsApp and email — all ignored.
We eventually located the boiler ourselves and sent a photo. Their response was to ask us to check whether it was switched on — something that was clearly visible in the photo. After that, they stopped responding entirely. No fix, no follow-up, and not even an apology.
On top of this, guests are instructed to leave rubbish out on the street at the end of the stay. When we went to do so, there was a fly-tipping warning sign stating fines of up to £2,500, which is extremely concerning and poorly managed.
The amount of time, stress and inconvenience caused on such a short stay was completely unreasonable. Looking at previous reviews, this does not appear to be the first time these issues have occurred. I would not stay here again and would not recommend this property to anyone.
- Giles (8/5): Good accommodation for a family group visiting London - The kitchen/dining room/living room area is very spacious Some of the fittings are a little tired. We couldn’t find any extra pillows so only had one each.
The general tone is quite threatening. I am fully expecting to have some or all of our substantial damage deposit withheld by the owners after reading the signs around the property even though we treated the property with utmost respect and left it as we found it.
- Helen (5/5): - 3 separate rooms Picking up keys was a pain as not in same location. We got there at 2.30 with luggage and kids but had to wait until 3pm as the shop owner would not release keys a bit early. Not enough toilet roll so had to go out and buy more. Very thin and narrow stairs.

Après avoir lu les différents commentaires des différents voyageurs je constate qu'aucune amélioration n'a été faite et cela depuis plusieurs mois

When I then collected the keys for the alternative accommodation late on my arrival date at 8pm, the keys would not work to enter the flat. I tried to contact them on all number available with no answer. Booking.com then tried to contact them on my behalf . They then cancelled my booking at 10.30 pm, leaving me with no accommodation. This ended up with me having to walk around London at midnight, trying to find alternative accommod
ation after booking.com was unable to assist due to the cancellation of the booking at such late notice.
These guys are not to be trusted.

Vam intentar contactar per wssp i per telefon tal i com deien les instruccions i no va contestar ningu. Varem trucat en un segon telefon i primer no sabien de quin pis parlaven, no el tenien identificat pel carrer i número. El darrer dia (5 dies) ens van passar unes instruccions per mail que no servien per resoldre el problema. Els radiadors estaven tancats i no hi havien instruccions per saber fer-los anar. Et diuen has de deixar la cuina neta, pero no ho repassen, totes les culleres estaven brutes amb menjar enganxat. El sofa llit está força malament, per una nit, suportable, per 4 no. Et retenen 300 lliures, ja veurem quan les alliberaran. Es un tercer sense ascensor, amb escales estretes, a tenir en compte si portes maletes grans com nosaltres. El bany està 7 graons per sota del nivell de l habitacio, ull si tens mobilitat reduida, es un afegit recent a la casa, segurament per això no hi arriba l aigua calenta. El secador sols funciona la primera marxa.

Where should i start? Property is ok, nothing like the pictures.
Pictures are different story, but in reality this place is so expensive for what it offers.
I Wouldn’t book again this apartment, it’s the worst place that I had been.
Sofa bed for 3rd person in the apartment it’s in an awfull state. It had bed bugs, worms and its stained eveywhere.
My niece was sleeping there and she needed sleeping on the floor as it was disgusting.
Towels are in bad shape.
Support from apartment management is good just to ask you for 300 pounds deposit, I have reached out to them to their live chat support and I’m still waiting.
They never mentioned about the boiler, you need to guess and start looking all over the apartment to turn on the boiler that works only once and then you need to restarted too many times to make them work again.
Duvets and bed sheets are also disgusting, all are stained.
Apartment it was not so clean, management ask for you to leave it in a good condition but it looks like they don’t clean the apartment after.
There was mold in the batch , seems like they don’t pay attention to the cleaning.
I wouldn’t stay there even if they pay me to stay, really disappointed as apartment has a lot of potential, but this is a tourist TRAP!

- David (5/5): The accommodation did not live up to the advertised photos and it was well below hotel standards of maintenance and clea - The location was good and the size of the apartment was appealing. The sofa bed for teenage children was worn out and very uncomfortable. It should be replaced as it’s inadequate. The duvet covers for the main bed did not fit. The hot water did not work properly with the boiler needing to be reset each time hot water was used. The TV did not work.
There was no plug and drainer for the sink and there were no cleaning cloths for kitchen surfaces.
The apartment was tired and the communal areas leading to the front door were dirty.
Key collection was a ten minute walk away, from a shop keeper. This was not ideal.
The additional £300 deposit to be paid prior to the key being released was excessive.
- Julia (6/5): Minimalausstattung - Lage, Organisation & Kommunikation, Freundlichkeit des Anbieters, es gibt eine Waschmaschine, Spülmaschine und einen tiefkühler Für 3 war bei Ankunft nur 1 schmales Doppelbett bezogen. Schlafcouch hatte lose Latten, Klappbett in der Ecke ohne Matratze. Bettzeug konnte man im Schrank finden und wir haben uns selbst beholfen.
Sehr zugige Fenster, Hotel gegenüber und zentrale Lage, lassen es im Wohnzimmer laut sein. Wlan funktionierte nicht, war aber kein Problem für uns.
Küchenutensilien (1 Topf, 1 Pfanne, 4 Sets Porzellan) extrem minimal ausgestattet und teilweise angeschlagen, war ausreichend.

It is a quiet area. I didn’t like having to collect the keys from a local shop and then having to navigate to the property. After a long day of travelling when we were tired. Also the same process to drop key afterwords. It was just an added complexity. The distance is a 10 minute walk. This was the only downside.

Tampoco funcionaba la tele.
Te pide 300 euros de fianza por si rompes algo. Pero tú llegas, la casa tienen cosas sucias, y estropeadas.. y a ti te cobran lo mismo.
El sofá cama, da pena. Se desmonta.
La cama es de 135 cm y te dan dos edredones de 90. La cama no estaba ni hecha.

- Leticia (1/5): Quien gestiona el piso no son nada profesionales - Ubicación El sofá cama roto , no se sostenían las patas avisamos a quien lleva los apartamentos y nos ignoraron, un dia no se podía entrar al piso la portero no iba estuvimos en la calle más 5 horas perdimos una excursión por el Támesis y nadie nos dio ni un disculpa. No lo recomiendo a nadie

Picking key up /dropping off was a pain also.
Double bed not a comfy mattress,, not enough pillows and sofa bed only pulled out partially so was short.
Very hot in there and only 1 fan for bedroom and lounge needs 2.
Needs a mirror in the bedroom also.
No tea towels or spray cleaner to clean surfaces.
- Ashwood (6/5): Really good location but disappointed with some small, and not so small, items. - Location good. Well equipped. Good Wi-fi. Main bed very comfortable. Key collection and drop-off was a challenge. Unable to use TV. The steps down to the toilet were tricky to negotiate at night. The bed settee, in the living room was difficult to set up and take down.

Appartement moderne et plutôt cosy. Le ventilateur est un vrai plus.
La réactivité du propriétaire quand nous n'arrivions pas à connecter la wifi. Le bruit autour. Le canapé n'est pas propre.

Der Kontakt mit der Vermietung hat gut funktioniert.
Uns wurde bei allen Fragen stets zu unserer Zufriedenheit weitergeholfen! Obwohl die Einrichtung als stylish durchgeht ist der Zustand doch ziemlich dürftig. Die Rollos sind durch vermutliche Fehlbedienung ziemlich defekt. Auch sonst weißt die Unterkunft einige Mängel auf.

- Emmy (7/5): Central location, clean and comfortable - The flat was very clean and it was big enough for our group. The beds are very comfortable. It is also very centrally located which makes it easy to take a bus or tube. All facilities were working well. It was exceptionally hot the weekend we stayed and it was not easy to cool the flat. It could also use some maintenance:: a fresh layer of paint, you can see where the ceiling was fixed but this was not yet repainted. Perhaps a little something to make it more cozy as it now feels very basic which is a difference from the pictures on booking. We also had a lot of noise until 11 pm from the pub next door.

- Jenna (3/5): Would never stay with this company again! Still trying to get a response from them about claiming back some - The location was handy. The property was not clean and very basic. The sofa bed was covered in stains, the tap in the kitchen was hanging off, the tv wouldn’t work. It was one of the hottest weekends in London so a shower would have been appreciated, however we were left with NO hot water the whole stay. Tried contacting the host aswell as the emergency contact number to only get a response after check out!
- Agata (4/5): Location is good but that’s all - Location is pretty cool, subway is very close We found hair in the bath, a lot of dust and many furnitures were destroyed. Caution is very high (£300) and you can’t leave your luggages. Also contact with the administrator is very bad. Cables sounded weird. Totally not reccommend it. Even if they had a lot of negative opinions about cleanliness they’re still ignore it
- Allegra (4/5): We would not rent from this agency again. - I liked the size of the property; having 3 bedrooms is convenient for a family. I also liked the photos that accompanied the check-in instructions. In short: we didn’t like much. The flat requires you to pick up keys from a convenience store located ~10 minutes away. This was not convenient! Be warned: this flat is several blocks from the Holburn tube station. It is located on a narrow street, which is noisy due to several pubs. Cigarette smoke and noise drifted up into the open windows. Between the 1am conversations and 4am/5am trash trucks, we didn’t get much sleep. Speaking of windows, the blinds were in various states of disrepair. The pillows? Don’t get me started. Composed of lumps. And finally, in the living room, two big red flags: a broken (=dilapidated) floor fan and an overhead light dangling from wires. These last several items point to a major lack of attention to detail by the renting agency.

- Darren (5/5): Disappointing and not clean - Not clean at all, hairs in between the two pillows, on the stirs down to the bathroom and in the bath. There was no hot water for a shower over the two days stay.

Overall a miserable stay. 3 adults and child left early due to unsafe conditions. Photos were deceptive and was told I could be assigned a property within a 9 block area of Russell square but no definite address until I picked up the key at a nest key location 1/4 mile away from the property we were finally told is the place. I’ve never had such a miserable experience. The price was outrageous for what we received in return
