- Nora (10/5): Great - We spent 3 and half wonderful days in Napoli...apartment is magical and cozy and "warm" and home-like....The owner Marianna and his daughter are great people...kind and caring and helpfull...I recommend this apartment to everyone. The surroundings are very trashy but typical of the whole of Naples.

- John (7/5): Prima locatie.

- Terrible location. We ended up not staying because the outside streets were like Gotham. The location was terrible. Cab driver recommended we don’t get out of the car with the kids as it was extremely dangerous
- Fernandez (9/5): Super séjour en Famille - L'accueil a été remarquable ,l'appartement est très bien avec une vue Naples,l'hotesse est très accueillante et disponible
- alessandra (8/5): - Posizione centralissima ,pulizia , host disponibile Le scale di accesso: 3 piani senza ascensore e gradini molto alti.
- Jasa (10/5): We had a lovely stay in the colorful and charmingly, italian-style chaotic city of Naples - The terrace is great, with a fabulous view. The appartment is cosy and spatious and clean. The landlord Marianna is nice and cooks wonderful dishes, provided you want to eat at location. The steep stairs that lead to 4 floor. There is a small elevator optional, though.

- Pal (9/5): - Az elhelyezkedés kiváló.
Remek vacsorákat kaptunk.
Nagyon jó a terasz. Nincs lift.
- nevzatarikan (8/5): - Leiligheten har utrolig bra beliggenhet midt i gamle byen. Egen terrasse, rent mer kan man ikke kreve for det man har betalt. Bare et bad og wc
- Ilya (7/5): - The apartment was clean and had all the basic amenities, but no extras. The kitchen had everything needed for cooking, though no essentials like olive oil. There’s a washing machine, but no detergent provided — not even enough for one or two loads. Breakfast was included, but it consisted of a single prepackaged croissant, which felt more like a gesture than a proper meal. If items like oil or detergent were available, even for purchase, I would have rated it higher.
A key detail missing from the listing is that the apartment is on the 4th floor with no elevator. This can be challenging for seniors, anyone with mobility issues, or travelers with heavy luggage, and should be clearly stated.
The slanted ceilings were also a bit inconvenient — we bumped our heads a few times.
The train station area may look untidy and you might be scared at first but I get used to it. If it scars you pick up a different area.
The rooftop view was a highlight — a great spot to take in the city from above A key detail missing from the listing is that the apartment is on the 4th floor with no elevator.

- sabina (10/5): - Terrace was amazing, owner Marianna very heplful and kind.
- Ingrid & Peter (9/5): Wonderfull city center appartment with roof terrace - Perfect location between the railway station and the old town, close to the airport. Beds were good, bathroom was good. The roof terrace was great! Small supermarket nearby on the other side of the road. Wonderful and very helpful host only speaking Italian, but communication was flawless via whatsapp and translation tools. Not a bad thing as such and we did not feel unsafe for a second, but he appartment is located on the edge of the old town where the neighbourhood gets a little bit rough.
- Ioana (10/5): - The apartment was very clean, the terrace was great to sit on both in the morning and in the evening. The host helped us with a restaurant recommendation which was the perfect choice. Everything was perfect. -
- Ashiqur (7/5): Amazing host, grreat 5th floor apartment without elevator , in a shady location! - This is an amazing property to stay in Naples! The property was super clean, nice and in a great shape! Up to 6 people can stay! The owner Marianna was super nice and friendly! She was always there for anything and everything we needed! Even when we were struggling with taxis she even offered us to drop off to some places through her daughter, Sofia! Sofia even provided us info about what to look for and what kind of restaurant we could go to have dinner! They were really helpful and nice people! We would never going to book the apartment if we knew that the location is kind of a shady spot and super dirty neighborhood! we had to climb FIVE FLIGHTS OF STAIRS! Just imagine , four persons ;2 weeks trip luggage size and climbing stairs will made my kids not going outside!
This historic side of Naples is not a great place to stay! You would not feel safe and comfortable walking around 9:00 pm or even late, which was not the case for Milan, Rome, Como or some other city we stayed!
- Csiszárné Szabó (10/5): Pár perc sétára a központi pályaudvartól. Nyugalom szigete a nyüzsgő város felett. - Gyönyörű tetőterasz. Szállásadó kiváló vacsorát készített, érdemes megkóstolni a főztjét. Igazi nápolyi menüt állított össze számunkra.
- Jill (9/5): A+ We loved this apartment and the owners. Very nice and helpful. The dinner that the owner cooked for us was deliciou - The apartment was lovely - spacious, clean. We loved the balcony - a wonderful place to sit and chat and watch the local activity. It is an easy walk to the train station. The only issue was that the elevator was out. This wasn’t problematic for we 3 ladies in our 70’s as a family member of the owner carried our luggage up and down on arrival and departure. We had a 6:30 am departure and they showed up right on time. All the neighbors were friendly and helpful also.
- Thomas (10/5): Very good host and extra dinner was very tasty - Very close train station and center
The host was wonderful and made very good food for extra. I recommend it !
Thank you again
- Lundgren (9/5): Marianna and her family went beyond and above, what we would expect and made us feel very wewelcome - The location is great, in walking distance to most of the old town
Marianna cooked Dinner for us one night, which was great, thank you 😊 she also brought us delicious local cakes for dessert on our last evening, even more thank you, and not to forget her lovely daughter that drove us to the airport. A few more utilities in the kitchen would have been nice. We normally like to cook ourselves, but the equipment available limited how adventures we decided to be 🙂
Otherwise just a great place to get back to after a long day in Napoli
- Lars (10/5): Highly recommendable. - We have rarely encountered such great hospitality and helpfulness. We were in continuous dialogue with the landlord during our stay. The landlord was exceptionally helpful and incredibly accommodating. We had the best dining experiences in Naples on the terrace, where the food was prepared by the landlord. No complaints.
- Sandra (9/5): Superb - We enjoyed our stay very much. Our hostess was very helpful and friendly, and we loved playing with her dog Mia! It's a short distance from the train station. The main attraction is the large terrace. Be aware of the 80 steps to get to the apartment especially with heavy bags!
- Galina (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tim (9/5): Review La Dukesca Chic - The apartment was nice for 5 people, with just an amazing terrace! The location was great, just near the historic center and there's a parking and an ATM in front of the apartment, came in very handy. But what this booking made really great, was Marianne and her charming family. She did everything to make our stay great, from changing towels, to washing the dishes,... She was always available through whatsapp. She advised us great restaurants based on our preferences and even made the reservations for us. And to top it off, she cooked traditional Napolitan 4 course menu's that were so good, for a very reasonable price. These were a heavenly gift after a long trips around Napels. Wish every host was like this! If I come back, I would choose la Dukesca Chic again! If I really need to pick something, I'd say that the matress of the double bed is a bit stiff, bit this is just a small detail.
- Benjamin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lars (10/5): Exceptional - Great terrace and close to the train station. Very helpful host living one stairs down from this penthouse apartment.
- Joy (10/5): Exceptional - the property is a newly built flat on the roof of an old building, it was only finished earlier this year. it is a very short walk from the train station and airport bus in a very central location. Sophia lives downstairs and could not have more helpful. She made us feel extremely welcome and allowed us to arrive a bit earlier on our arrival day and stay a bit later on our departure day. She was very knowledgeable about the city, booked us a table at a restaurant on our first night … we really appreciated her local knowledge and we felt we had a friend in the city. the terrace is fantastic!! nothing
- Hervé (5/5): Correct accomodation for that price !! - We could ask our breakfast preferences to the host, which was good.
Very friendly host, Sofia, who offered good tips and help whenever we needed.
Good location (very close to the central station of Napoli).
For that price, still nothing to complain... very correct ! The appartment is on the 4th floor and the elevator was not functioning. I just had a surgery on my knee, so it was not so nice that I needed to go up and down all the stairs by foot.
We were with 5 adults and the beds were relatively small. Also the kitchen accomodation can be better... Just foresee some more plates, glasses and kichen tools to make breakfast or drink out of enough available glasses.
- Carol (10/5): Perfect penthouse apartment with 2 big bedrooms and a wonderfully modern bathroom. - Everything was perfect.
Location very central and easy to find and an incredibly comfortable and well equipped apartment.
Its a perfect size penthouse apartment with a massive rooftop terrace.
Sophie and Marianne were perfect hosts bringing us fresh croissants for breakfast and regularly making sure we had enough supplies. Plus Sophies mum made us a gorgeous cake, which was a wonderful touch. Naples late night trash collection can be rather noisy but that's the fault of the city and not the hosts!
