- Barry (4/5): Modest but functional facilities in a convenient location - Location is very good - it is reasonably close to the Maroubra beach and also close to excellent bus services to the Maroubra shopping centre, Sydney city and to Bondi Junction Off street car parking was very good. TV is modern. Our hosts were very nice. The unit was a rather musty when we arrived. It needed airing. The kitchen facilities are very limited. There is no stove or sink. The "glasses", cups and plates are plastic. The bed was very firm.

- Julia (8/5): Great little place with nice toiletries, as well as great selection of tea bags and snacks. Location was awesome. Aircon - The property was lovely, clean and close to the beach. Bed was double so not very big for two people; especially during a heatwave 😄 The aircon turns off every couple of hours and during a heatwave this is very inconvenient and bothersome. Also, the fridge wasn’t properly cleaned; it had milk stains on one of the shelves. Moreover, the cups were not thoroughly washed and also contained stains.

Books and bookshelf were a good idea but needed a dusting. The bed. The mattress was old, soft and lumpy = 3 points. The small travel hairdryer is too inefficient = 1 point. Equals 6/10.

- Helen (10/5): Exceptional - It was a short six-minute walk to restaurants and cafes. The Grumpy Baker was a good stop for morning coffee. We liked the information package in the room that included a one-page map showing how to get on the coastal walk to Coogee. Our hosts were very friendly.

- John (9/5): The owners were helpful, location-parking car off road, many comforts, essentials in compact area - Made breakfast ourselves, very good Only due to husband's lower back problem, the hilly area didn't work in his favour, but nice location to access some shops, beach and 'The Grumpy Baker' for coffee, cakes, pies etc.
