• Jon (6/5): Great convenient location, spacious accommodations, but needs work. - The location was very good and convenient, the rooms are spacious but very basic, with no frills, the beds were generally comfortable, the place was not dirty but definitely could use a good cleaning. Lucie, the owner, was extremely pleasant and generally good with communication. The many things we didn't like, most of which we communicated to the owner in real time (Christmas time 2024), can easily be fixed for upcoming guests. Entrance instructions VERY unclear. Email said keys in a "Black lock box on the window." We arrived X-mas Eve; it was dark + cold and we couldn't find the lockbox. After 1/2 hour searching and texting/calling the owner to no avail, my husband went UP THE STREET to a bar to inquire and the bar owner showed us the lockbox... on THEIR window some distance from the front door. Once inside, although we knew the apt was on the "1st floor," we had NO IDEA which apartment, as there were no instructions and no name on the apartment. We tried the key in several doors before finally finding the right door, and also after realizing the 1st floor in Prague is not the same as the 1st floor in the USA. Bathrooms and showers are TINY; both showers leaked water onto the floor. After asking and being told there was laundry detergent, there wasn't any and the owner told us to go buy some; this was difficult given 1) we had no idea where to go, and 2) it was Christmas and ALL the local grocery stores were closed for the holiday. We had to take time out of our vacation to hunt for some. (The owner did immediately repay us what we spent.) Refrigerator had a HORRIBLE stench of stale garlic; every time we opened the door, the stench came into the room... so we had to minimize opening it as much as possible. When we arrived, there was a piece of dried food on the kitchen floor. There are glass tops on the end tables... one of them had a chip on it and the other had a piece completely broken off... dangerous for children. Some towels were frayed and a bedsheet had a hole. The mattresses sit on top of wooden slats and EVERY move caused the slats to creak... all night long. Finally, in the desk, the owner had left a stack of old papers with passport and contact information of prior guests, which I discovered after looking for a pen and paper. I told the owner they're lucky I'm honest.... No elevator; be prepared to lug luggage.

• Mia (8/5): Great find - 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms in Prague! - Great location!! Beds were comfortable. Nice that TV had Netflix and other streaming apps. Washing machine a big plus after 2 weeks traveling! Heat worked well. Very close to bars and restaurants, but not crazy busy area. Especially enjoyed Happy Bar next door :). 2 bathrooms - hard to find - that was a plus! Needed more coffee cups. There was only one decent sized cup for tea or coffee. Otherwise the kitchen was well equipped. Price high for Prague, but we waited late and it was a really busy time (NEW YEARS!)
• YUE (9/5): Definitely recommend - Great location, just near the river, totally walkable distance to places of interests. The apartment is equipped with heating system so not cold at all. And two complete bathrooms are perfect with two bedrooms. The staff is GREAT!!! Nice and super helpful !
