• hugo (4/5): Looks as advertised but would not recommend - room looks exactly like the photo and had a mini fridge and has 2 shared bathrooms Says free parking, but u get there and he tells you to park on the street, in a town as crowded as tirana, could not find a single parking spot, asked for help, he was no help and rude, had to pay for parking at a nearby garage. One of the bathrooms has a very very faded "Warning: do not drink water " u cant even see it, the other bathroom the sticker is very clear.

• Natalia (7/5): As expected for the price. Contact owner for clear directions to find the place. - Location couldn't be better, right in the centre of Tirana. The apartment was cleaned daily, WiFi worked fine, laundry facilities (€2 wash, €1 washing powder, €4 dryer charge) available, decent size balcony, air con, plenty of clean towels, 2 toilets in the apartment, fridge in the room and a shared kettle in the corridor. The place was impossible to find! After contacting the owner (which was the wrong number on Booking.com) they sent a video showing how to get there. Not sure why it wasn't available in the first place as it ended up being a self check-in anyways. The walls are VERY thin. Coffee pod machines but no coffee pods. 5th floor apartment and no lift - didn't bother me but something to note. You have to leave your payment in a box with the exact amount of cash (euro or lek).

• Zuzanna (7/5): fairly good - good location, good sized room and liked the small fridge in the room. everything was clean. air conditionong worked very well. staff were friendly. good price, especially because it really was not that far from centre. good communication with the host. walls were very thin so could hear EVERYTHING, will not be going into more detail about that. was not aware that it is a room and then a shared bathroom and kitchen, although that may have been my mistake. everything had a charge e.g. €2 for using the washing machine plus €1 for the washing machine powder. WiFi slow and often turned off without warning for a minute or so, TV turned on but streaming box did not work. car parking is based on, if you get a space, you get a space. the parking is all on the street so there is no guarantee that you will get it. no lift and the room was on the top floor, not a problem for us but I can see why others wouldn't like it.
• Valerie (4/5): Disappointing stay. - Fridge in the room. Towels and bedding provided, good pillows. There are grocery stores, cafés, and restaurants within walking distance. No signage to find the place. The stairwell to the place was dirty, dark, and dingy. It's basically a room in a converted apartment. There is no private toilet or shower. The shower and WC are small, so if you're a tall or plus-sized person, you may have challenges. There was no mechanism to drop the window shade and only flimsy curtains on the window. TV didn't work - the remote control probably needs new batteries. The room was extremely small. Note: The place is on the 5th floor without an elevator, so you'll be climbing a lot of stairs.

Cables were hanging everywhere, posing a potential safety hazard. 2. Mould on the walls. 3. Lack of the drinking water. Even if you want to prepare a tea or a coffee you need to first buy a mineral water. 4. In the offer it was written that there is a free coffee available, however it wasn’t true.

• Jany (3/5): My experience - The landlord was asked for the money for the shampoo and the water which was provided in the room..after the check out that was not expected. And the house and the area was not cleaned, it was too old, spider webs , no sunlight, the other places they provided with all necessary items. The room is only accepted by cash or paypal. It has a shared toilet and shower for 3/4 rooms.

Is not for everyone, if you like backpacking around the world, and don’t mind a bit of noise from the car in the night or the fact that there is no lift in the building then is for you! The toilette is not in the room, but we always clean 😊 The vibes are like a good hostel, and for me was so good! I like that!

Sharing a bathroom, no actual curtains in room and only see through thin material, beds were ok and in the room there was no wardrobe to hang clothes. There was a lot of noise from other guests, early easy morning.

• Alen (4/5): Not recommended - Near the center but not 800 m , rather 1200 m Check-in easy You become a room in a 4-5 rooms flat and not a flat for yourself. Kitchen and bathroom must be shared. All the furniture is very very old and actually good to throw away, almost everything in the bathroom is broken, it smells very strong from the toilets, and it’s loud in the room ( near big street)

• Chidinma (4/5): Misleading accommodation description, with rude over the phone customer service. - Location was central. There was wifi. It was very cheap, but you do get what you pay for. The description for the room extremely misleading and the customer service rude and I would never stay there again. Even if you paid me. I was spoken to extremely rudely and told in condescending tone that "it was not a 5-star place with a front desk". The description states that there is "24-hour front desk" which to me implies there is an in-person service. In terms of check-in, it was only when we were close to the accommodation that the person told us over the phone that I had to provide my passport details otherwise he would not give me the code to enter. This had never been mentioned before. If that had been sent to me via the messages, I would have sent it before setting and not needing to feel like I was at the mercy of this person over the phone while trying to find a safe space to park. In terms of parking, the description still states that there is free parking possible on site and valet parking. I messaged to request this and got no response. on I arrival when I asked, I was told I could not park in the compound, that I should look for parking on the street or I could go find a private car park. One of the main reasons I chose that place was because it said it had parking. Again, the manner in which I was spoke to; unnecessarily rude, condescending and patronising. The room was not the cleanest with chairs looking quite stained. The accommodation is cheap but definitely not cheerful. I did like the picture with the girl and the horse on the wall.

Easy check in once inside. Cost of property was very low. bed was clean and fresh , very clean towels The property photos and description did not match the property we stayed in. Was not expecting do be sharing an apartment that had been separated into different rooms for people to stay. apartment looked intimidating from outside. but not hosts fault.

• Naor (10/5): excellent budget option - I believe people need to read the description fully and realize exactly what you are getting for Euro 20.Centrally situated rooms are very clean some with balcony.I found the linen towels etc immaculate,you have TV AC and fridge which also has drinks etc at very good rates. the shared bathroom was very clean .Note it is fully written in the description there are rooms with shared bathroom.There is a kitchen with the necessary equipment.For those who complained you have to pay for shampoos etc you are staying in the center of Tirana for Euro 20??? highly recommended!
