Guest Reviews
- Sabine (10/5): Wir kommen definitiv wieder.
- maisuradze (10/5): - The house was very clean, comfortable, every equipment was clean. The host was very hospitality. Everything what need tuarists.
- xiaoyu (10/5): nice place with a yard. The location is great, just 3mins walking to the dock. The host is helpful when we encountered t -
- Kenneth (10/5): Wonderful stay! - It was clean, comfortable, and pretty well stocked. The bed was very comfortable, laundry machine, coffee maker and outdoor garden terrace Just a little far away from the main core of the city but on the other hand it was very close to Lido while still being on the main island of Venice.
- Aleksandr (9/5): Superb -
- Alisson (10/5): Exceptional - Loved the stay. Rebecca was incredibly helpful with finding the location of the house. The house was amazing and includes everything you would need. Getting to majority of the places in Venice was incredibly easy with the waterbus being just outside the building. Would definitely recommend!
- Seventythree (10/5): Perfect for a peaceful stay in Venice. - The apartment, located on the ground floor, with its own private garden was delightful. Clean, a good size and with lots of facilities, it was perfect for a wonderful stay in Venice. Situated in a peaceful area of Sant'Elena, with lots of greenery around and plenty of local restaurants etc.
The owner, Rebecca, was both communicative and helpful.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back again at some point.
Grazie mille!
- Clare (10/5): Excellent accommodation, highly recommended. -
- Derek (10/5): Great appointment. Excellent host -
- Thibault (10/5): Exceptional - Spacious and very clean apartment, big enough to accommodate up to 4 people and located within 20-30 min of Piazza San Marco (via vaporetto). The kitchen and bathroom are modern and fully furnished, with a washing machine also available.
The entire neighborhood is quiet and very friendly, with a bar and pharmacy nearby.
Thanks again to the owner for providing us directions and general recommendations for our trip! We had a great time.
- Fiona (10/5): Lovely quiet residential area, close to city centre - The flat was really well equipped and even had basics like olive oil, vinegar, coffee and other items. It was great to have a lounge area and well equipped kitchen. There was a patio garden outside so the flat would be excellent in warmer weather. The area was really quiet so great to come back to. There's a bar not far away and they were great. Local bar with lots of locals in it, so you don't get ripped off and they were friendly. Super easy check in/out. We booked here as we were going to Arsenale. It is a bit out of the main drag BUT I'd say its worth it as its quiet and only a few stops on the boat to town. Don't think there's a supermarket locally so you need to shop around town where there are Conads and co ops. 2 co ops other side of Giardini and a Conad next to Zattere. A more detailed housebook would have been useful as when you are only there for a few days you don't know where anything is and it saves time to have a few local hints. We may have missed something locally, so don't take my word on that. 2 local shops we found were a good fruit & veg shop (not super friendly but fine) and a grocer's that sells bread and grocery items OK but pretty unfriendly even though I speak Italian so be prepared. Don't buy their small water bottles though as they cost at least double/treble the cost of a supermarket at around 5 euros x 6 pack. Wait and get them at a co op or Conad where they cost 1.99 for 6
- Nikolas (10/5): Exceptional - Well suited for a family. We liked the quiet neighbourhood of S. Elena for the kids as there was a playground nearby, close waterbus, and all the amenities we needed nearby. The neighbourhood is charming with a local fruit stand, deli/butcher, cafe, and such. That said, it is sleepy and everything closes fairly early, which is fine with kids, but may not be as appreciated by those who unencumbered by children and are looking for some night life. This isn’t a problem with the property per se, but just a fair warning that mosquitoes can be bad during the summer, so while the patio is lovely, it may not be functional if you/your kids react poorly to bites, such as mine.
- Girts (10/5): Quiet place in a green neighbourhood, yet within walking distance from the main tourist attractions - Clean, spacious, and well-equipped apartment with a private courtyard in a green and quiet neighbourhood. Two minutes from St. Elena vaporetto stop, about 30 min. walk to Piazza San Marco, right next to Giardini della Biennale, one vaporetto stop from Lido and all the beaches. The neighbourhood feels very authentic and not touristy at all. This was a perfect place for our family vacation in Venice. The location may not be perfect for those who prefer livelier and more touristy neighbourhoods. There are very few shops and restaurants around, most of which close during the riposo, and in the afternoon the island feels almost abandoned.
- Kateřina (9/5): Superb - A pleasant and convenient location when visiting the Biennale. Everything was clean. A big plus is the garden next to the apartment. Squeaking bed
- Richard (10/5): Just excellent - Excellent accommodation facilities
Very comfortable
Met all our expectations A bit off the way, but a good walk from train station
- Genesis (10/5): Just feel like home - It was so cozy and feels like home
- Csenge (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was beautiful, the owner is very helpful and kind. It was a very nice stay.
- Shini (9/5): Superb -
- Batmunkh (10/5): Exceptional -
- Roel (9/5): Superb - Almost everything The place was not ready when we arrived. We can't really blame the lady for being late if the last people that stayed here were as messy as the last accommodation she tidied up. Maybe hire more people to help.
- Shaun (10/5): Exceptional - 1. Great location as it’s located next to a park, which our kids loved, and it felt like a really local area. 3 minute walk from the ferry service, with many options for getting to the main parts of Venice. We could also take a 5 minute ride to the beach (Lido), and our kids had a fantastic time there too. There are little shops close by for everything you need to cook.
2. It felt like a home away from home. The kitchen has everything, there were toys and books for our kids, plus a nice little courtyard garden to sit in. Everything is really new.
I’m not doing the accommodation justice, but it had every creature comforts and the location suited our family’s preference for staying somewhere local, away from hustle bustle. Nothing at all.
- Liisbet (10/5): Cozy & clean apartment near Giardini. - Very nice apartment, we were a group of 5, it was perfect size for us, very cozy and clean. Very good location to visit Architecture Biennale Giardini area, 3-minute walk. Boat stop is also near, easy to get to the city centre. Small shops and some restaurants right around the corner for breakfast or dinner.
- Hansen (9/5): good - We like the owner to provide everything and enjoy the stay. The place closes to a water bus stations. We can go everywhere easily. The apartment is in excellent condition and the owner is friendly, easy to communicate and let us to keep our luggage in his place while we were exploring the island after checking out. Thanks. We were unlucky because the neighbor was doing construction work. We slept very late the first night and woke up by the noise. We got up early the next day before they started working. Felt much better. It is unfortunate.
- Siarhei (10/5): Wonderful cozy home in an amazing city! - Great house with all amenities. Everything is very clean and you can see that it is chosen with love. There are many interior items that you want to consider and know their history. In terms of comfort, the house has everything. We were worried that it would be cold in winter, but everything was fine, the batteries were well heated from our own gas boiler. Quiet location with gardens, close to wapporteto station. We got unforgettable impressions from Venice and this cozy house. Many thanks to the owners! there are no shortcomings
- Marius (10/5): Awesome stay - Awesome property. Probably, the best deal in town.
All was new and clean! The host was extremely kind and eager to help.
I highly recommend this place for everyone visiting Venice. Nothing, sincerely.
- Chris (9/5): Superb -
- Zajc (10/5): Perfect location for those who don’t like crowds of the very center. - We loved the location near the Giardini as our main purpose was to visit Biennale. Besides, it is situated just a few minutes from the vaporetto station with a good connection to other places in Venice. The apartement is comfortable and more than well equipped and we loved the garden with terrace. everything was perfect. Rebecca, the owner, was very cooperative when we nedeed her. I highly recommend it. one night it was noisy because of tourists who arrived late to a nearby hotel.
