• Polly (7/5): A well positioned, spacious apartment with no frills, which was fine in hot weather. - Good location, spacious apartment, stunning views from the altana. With some slight attention to detail this serviceable apartment could have been much more comfortable eg decent sofas, a washing machine, a properly functioning dishwasher, better kitchen equipment and a few basic supplies eg salt, pepper, oil and matches (when there was a power cut we couldn’t use the gas stove).

• Arecco (5/5): Bella posizione. Peccato per la poca cura, la scala usata come deposito, i rumori della strada e la pulizia. - La posizione. C’era poco decoro, sedie bianche sporche, il sottoscala è utilizzato come deposito con un materasso, un ventilatore e scope varie a vista. Si sente tutto dalla strada, difficile riuscire a dormire senza svegliarsi al passaggio di persone. Erano stati aggiunti dei tappeti, non presenti nelle foto, piuttosto polverosi, ho dovuto chiedere di rimuoverli poiché sono molto allergica. In generale, poca cura, basterebbe poco per renderlo più ospitale e meno tetro. Ho aspettato 3 ore e mezzo prima che arrivasse qualcuno a risolvere un problema. Pomeriggio che avrei potuto usare per fare altro.

Was nice and cozy and perfect for us! - Gabriele met with us to give us access and the keys, was incredibly kind and helpful along with good tips to take the bus or vaporetto to airport and also spoke great French! It was a bit cold when we arrived but took a minute for the heater to work and then was nice and warm once it was on for a day or two. Additionally the wifi was spotty in one room but all else was fine!

• Mark (7/5): - Amazing location very close to Peggi Guggenhiem near excellent bars and a small supdrmarket. I liked the location big time. Also they prepared my sofa bed. Which was really kind. I painted watercolours most days Simple things, no mope, no dust pan abrush. It had a kettle but did not work. It had a Tv but l never got a Televission channel. It too probably did not work. It had internet but it was so slow needed updating. All these things are easy sorted but l do not tbink the people in charge will bother

• Matthew (9/5): Excellent stay in a quieter neighbourhood of Venice with a small walk and scenic walk to the closest water bus docks as - The 3 floors practically making two separate 1 bedroom apartments and the third floor being a kitchen and dining area with the balcony was perfect. My family and I spent a lot of time in the evenings and mornings before and after going out on the balcony. Only thing I would say is for a small child the banisters where the stairs are aren’t the safest we had to keep her accompanied at all times and usually in the bedrooms as the railings by the stairs were very wide open and easy to fall through.
• Nick (9/5): Out of the hustle and bustle but 4 mins from Salute or Accademia. - Only a little balcony but perfect to enjoy a coffee and watch the swallows fly around the trees and salute. It was very clean. It was a pretty little apartment. Needs either a coffee machine or a large, decent cafetière. A lot more steps to the lowest floor accommodation and thankfully mother was having a good week, a bad week she wouldn’t have been able to access apartment. Background team seem disjointed from team on the ground as requests for sofa beds to be ready and how many stairs (was told 8 steps, was actually 21 stairs), when checking in I was told you make your own sofa beds and there were a lot of stairs.

• Jane (1/5): Horrible! - Location: I am an art history professor and wanted to be near the major art museums. It was a terrible rental: 1. The place was so musty that it caused us to continually sneeze. 2. The toilet was not working and they weren't sure when they could get someone to fix it. 3. The sofa bed was broken so only one person could sleep on it. 4. In general, not a particularly clean place. Beware: We complained to Booking.com and they said they would refund us for the place. They gave a $100 refund! Not the whole rental amount when we went immediately to a new Booking.com apartment. I lost a lot amount of money due to their ambiguous language.
• Katsiaryna (6/5): The apartment could have been nice if renovated a little and if stuff could do/fix things on time. - The cleaning lady was nice! The location was good. The rest was not. 1. We were told that it was possible to check in earlier: when we arrived the place was in a huge mess. We asked whether it was cleaned and we were told that there something went wrong and our apartments had not been cleaned yet. And we were told to come in an hour (proper check in time). In an hour the cleaning was still in progress and we were allowed to sit on the sofa till it was done. 2. There must’ve been something wrong with the previous guests cause they left the sofa bed broken (it was impossible to unfold it: mattress and part of the sofa were just standing next to it - see the image), toilet lid broken and a broken shower holder. The cleaning woman said someone will come to fix it but no one came. 3. There was no dishwashing detergent so we could not wash any dishes properly. 4. There were really many mosquitoes. 5. No tea bags/coffee 6. At some point we also noticed a cigarette butt on the floor.

• Christine (7/5): Overall, it was a great mini vacation - It was centrally located, had ac and afforded us a nice place to stay during our impromptu visit to Venice. It was easy to book and the owner was very responsive and friendly. Not a reflection of the property itself, but the construction at the butt crack of dawn each morning, we could have done without. Also the description was not correct and did not match the pictures but the general features that were needed were present.
