The apartment was very cozy, comfortable, fully equipped with everything the travelers need. I felt that it was my home. Everything was done by himself. There was coffee, tea, sugar, salt, oil, shampoo, shower gel, iron, hairdryer .... everything like your homes. The main thing is that there was NO MOSQUITO because he has nets on all windows. HOST was Very attentive owner. Moreover, he met us at the water bus station and took us to his home, explained everything about sightseeing, transport in Venice. When we gave him the key back, he invited us (me and my friend) to a cafe for a cup of coffee. I have never booked the apartment better than this one. The apartment is much better than in photos.

• Georges (8/5): Trop court, nous reviendons - Emplacement top. Alberto est un artiste - il y a des tableaux partout - et de surcroît "grand bricoleur". il a aménagé, peaufiné un petit Studio en RdC qui a vraiment une âme, ne ressemblant surtout pas à ceux nombreux sans risque et "sans odeur", c'est à dire blancs et aseptisés. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir dans ce lieu bien desservi, à proximité de la Biennale (Giardini et Arsenal) et des commerces sur la via Garibaldi. -
• Dorottya (8/5): Cosy place in a good location - Its location was perfect in a quiet area not far from the centre. It has its own style and it's well-equipped. Everything (vaporetto stop, shops and restaurants) are within easy reach and it's also close to a park so you also see a lot of greenery. It's a bit damp (although it's probably natural in Venice), also a bit dark. The cover of chairs needs cleaning or replacing. The fridge was full of bottles of expired soft drinks. Last but not least we couldn't close the window due to the unusual placement of the air-conditioner.

• Jeffrey (9/5): Superb - this place is a real gem - hints of saint marks in the stone floors, whispers of Carlo Scarpa and Umbertp Riva everywhere else. We loved it. And Castello area is very down to earth and interesting - a respite from over tourism elsewhere in Venice.
• O'reilly (9/5): Cozy, calm, comfortable and very convenient. - Quiet and perfectly located to my Art Biennale stuff and the Via Giuseppe Garibaldi is super convenient. Nothing really. I’m a big guy so the shower overflowed a bit lol and I forgot my toothpaste, and there’s none in the house. But that’s more my own problem.

This apartment is a hidden gem of Venice, and Albert is an amazing host that truly looks after his - Beautiful and cozy little apartment, 1 minute walk away from main street with a lot of local restaurants and cafes - it feels very authentic and Italian, which we liked the most about the location. It’s close enough to the centre of Venice that you can easily walk, but far enough that you don’t get crowds of tourists around every single corner! Which was a huge plus. The apartment itself was well-equipped, it’s nice to have the little things (such as olive oil, salt, etc), as you normally don’t get that in other hotels. Even though Venice was quite cold over our stay, heating worked perfectly and we felt comfortable and cozy. Bathroom was also very well equipped with big shower head and decent space. Check in and check out was also very smooth and easy Maybe one extra little mirror in the bedroom would be nice! So it’s easier to get ready :)
• Alison (8/5): Great stay - Brilliant location within walking distance of St Marks etc. Very quiet area in a neighbourhood full of great cafes and restaurants. The apartment was clean, warm, and very convenient. Ideal for a short stay in a fabulous city.. Good communication from Albert on getting around, etc. . It could do with some wine glasses, apart from that. I'm very happy with our stay
• Mark (10/5): A wonderful apartment in a wonderful location. Could not have been better, thank you Alberto. - We loved Tiepolo's Apartment. The location is perfect in a quiet courtyard off a lane way, with all the character and authenticity that we could have imagined. The apartment itself has a lovely modern interior full of artworks and quirky design features. We enjoyed being able to cook for ourselves and the grocery store was only 2 minutes walk. Here also were restaurants, bars and a whole range of shops. One of my favourite experiences was hanging out the washing in the warm evening while listening to traditional Italian music drift in from the main street. An old Italian lady from across the courtyard stopped for a short chat. In the day we could walk or catch the close by water bus to see the busy attractions of Venice and by late afternoon return home for a peaceful end to the day. Alberto, our host, was very nice. He was friendly, professional and very helpful with advice and suggestions. My wife and I, highly recommend Tiepolo's Apartment.
• Britta (8/5): cosy basic apartment, perfect for a couple to explore Venice for 3-4 days - The host is absolutely lovely. He waited for us in the apartment and was communicating excellently beforehand while we were still on our way. He had lots of good tips and information for our stay, which we enjoyed a lot. the apartment is basic and the deal does not contain breakfast, but some items for creating your own breakfast were provided - in terms of VFM you might bring your expectations down

• Anne (8/5): Very recommendable! - The host, Albert, was very helpful and polite and had recommendations for both restaurants and cultural activities. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed for the stay. And it was close to a food store (Coop), pharmacy and to several restaurants and to the ACTV/Vaporetto (water bus) stop. It was also only a short walk away from Piazza San Marco. We had a very nice time in Venice and stayed 3 nights in the apartment. I will definitely recommend it.
• Sue (7/5): Old travellers, so made most of it and loved the area. - Great location for ferries, gardens and lively local street with locals, shops etc. Well stocked kitchen, thank you. Good shower, nice bathroom . Albert, mgr, helpful when met us at ferry. Quiet area much appreciated by us, would stay in area again. We were clear we did not want to sleep in same room due to snoring of friend. Albert had tried but perhaps photos of place rather over imaginative - kitchen and bedroom have no door between. He had moved one part of double bed into kitchen for one of us, presumably moving a sort of sofa bed out. Don't know where it was usually. So for a family of 3 ok, but would not have worked if one of us not flexible about sleeping in kitchen.

The apartment is very nice and it seems it was stylish by an artist!! the location was perfect very close to the boats transportation to the airport (arsenale station ) and all parts of the city . also near garibaldi street with supermarkets and restaurants !!! albert the host was waiting for us in time and was very kind . give us a map and a lot of recomendations about the city and places . our time in tiepolos apartement was perfect . thabk you !

• Daniel (9/5): Convenient, comfortable and an excellent, informative host - The location was perfect, in a quieter part of Venice's main island. Albert was very helpful upon arrival, and understanding of our late arrival due to a flight delay. Very comfortable property, with good amenities. Being able to cook ourselves was a great way to save money. We would definitely stay here again. The plug sockets weren't in the most convenient locations, but this wasn't anything nothing major.
