Guest Reviews
- DJules (9/5): Excellent location, fantastic host & very Bondi Vibe ! - Fantastic location to access Bondi Beach & facilities including Harry's Cafe less than a minute away ! Host was very helpful with excellent communication, sorting out arrival / departure arrangements & tips for local things to do. Plenty of living space, ceiling fans, beds very comfortable, kitchen had everything we needed & overall a relaxing time in the apartment. For 4 adults we initially missed having a second bathroom.
- Isabel (9/5): Very enjoyable - Perfect location and the property suited our requirements with two toddlers. Loved the enclosed garden and plenty of kitchen equipment for cooking. Good quality linen and towels
- Tony (9/5): A perfect beach retreat ⛱️ - Location! Location! Location😃 Nothing really, maybe some air conditioning would be nice but the ceiling fans were nice and powerful
- Claire (8/5): -
- Ladina (4/5): Unpleasant stay - Great location
Owner was friendly but became defensive when we raised the several issues. Toilet button broken and half hanging out.
Toilet brush was disgusting.
Apartment was not clean on check-in. Kitchen with fatty residue, bath and glass dirty, drain full of hair.
Had to wait till the following day for cleaner to come.
The cleaner turned the fan in the lounge on and it would not turn off when we arrived home, making a loud screeching sound making it impossible to sit in this room until the owner could organize an electrician two days later at a disturbing hour of 7am!. We had to turn off the main electricity for this duration, which means we had no light.
In the main bedroom there was also a ticking sound, which we think is an electical problem, which made sleeping almost impossible. This problem was not fixed until we left.
Windows do not seal properly, so you can hear the street noise outside. And they bang when the wind blows.
- Stephen (6/5): Okay place , not great - Location No central air
- Tara (10/5): -
- rebecca (9/5): A great place to stay that is so central to everything that you can leave your car for the weekend and let your legs go - The proximity to everything in Bondi! Only 1 bathroom is difficult when it sleeps 6.
- Michelle (10/5): Very beautiful older style apartment within walking distance to shops and beach with public transport at doorstep as wel - Great location … beds comfortable all amenities as needed Nothing
- Randell (8/5): - Fantastic location.
- Tania (9/5): Great comfy place in a great location. - We loved the location to the beach, shops, cafes and right across the road from the famous, and awesome Bandi markets.
There were plenty of beds and bedrrom space for our family of 5. And a cute back yard space to stretch the kids energy!
The kitchen was well stocked with all utensils and some basics which is much appreciated.
Ashley responded very quickly to any questions we had.
Great booklet with instructions and local information
Would highly recommend to anyone, and would gladly return
Thank you Bathroom is a little tight for space.
The noise outside early in the morning was disruptive to sleep, bin emptying perhaps?

- shujia (6/5): It’s cheap compare to other places in the same area, and you can see the owner is trying the best to provide all kinds o - The location is really good. Right next to bondi market, and bondi beach. Can walk to bondi beach, and is close to iceberg poll and totti’s bondi. There are plenty board games, novels, shopping bags, jams, and other stuff you need for daily life. The owner replies to my questions too. My hubby had cockroach on his neck while he was washing dishes.. and the house wasn’t as clean and bright as shown on the picture. There’s only 1 toilet so it’s a bit hard for 6 of us. And although you can park car in the driveway, and it is normally ok to do it at night, but if you leave during the day and come back wanting to park in the middle of the day, there’s usually no place to park as it’s such a popular area.

- Declan (4/5): Amazing location - Communication was excellent from Ashley from the point of booking, very responsive, helpful and friendly. Upon arrival at the apartment, we were greeted by Ashley and there was a folder in the property with a lovely welcome to the apartment and location, you can tell Ashley is passionate about Bondi.
Bondi is a beautiful location and has a lovely vibe to the area, amazing views from most locations and a good bus service to bondi junction and to circular quay.
The apartment is well equipped for a good stay and with kids the washing machine and dryer was a life saver.
Local woolworths to stock up on essentials and an aray of bars, shops and a McDonalds.
Bondi... what a location, beautiful. The property needs a little TLC, there are a number of cracks in the ceiling and walls in the property, the ceiling fans are a good addition to the property to help regulate the property but unfortuntely need cleaning due to the amount of heavy dust on them. I hate to write this but researching this in previous bookings, we had a bad experience with cockroaches which ruined part of our holiday due to being on edge of the creepy crawlies, one night we removed a single cockroach from the kitchen, we reported this to Ashley who replied swiftly, offering to have a treatment done on the property, we decided it would be best to wait until we checked out, in the instance they dispearsed into the property. After all, it was one cockroach, but unfortunately we ended up seeing a few more cockroaches in the kitchen on the surfaces, one fast one in the bathroom and the final star to check out a day early was when the wife was sat on the sofa and a cockroach climbed up her arm. Looking in the sofa, there were a couple on it. We left that day. Sydney and Bondi, cockroaches are common, not sure if this should be this common but was too much for us. The beds were too soft for us, we sank into them, the linnen was clean but the duvet itself was yellow stained. Ashley has an amazing apartment that just needs to invest in bringing it up to standard. I hate to share this review but i'd hate for people to have the same experience as us, however i hope Ashley had the property properly fumigated before the next guest.
- Kylee (10/5): Brilliant location and place to stay in Bondi!! - This property was amazing value for money, considering it was a spontaneous booking for us. While Bondi is a fairly noisy suburb (the garbage trucks seem constant!!!), the tenants within the building were quiet and we hardly saw anyone coming and going. The location is excellent and we did not need to use a car to go anywhere, as it was close to the shops and public transportation. It was spacious and light-filled making the apartment seem bigger; the beds and couches were so comfortable and Ashley was prompt in answering any enquirers about the apartment. The furniture etc was in great condition and adequate in supporting 5 people in the lounge room without feeling cramped. The Baci chocolates and condiments were a nice touch!
Although we did not use the kitchen facilities much, it was well-equipped with lots of additional items not usually available (cleaning products, bin bags, and a coffee machine). The personal recommendations about Bondi tourist activities by Ashley were appreciated and up to date. For a family of 5 people, it was great to see 3 double beds + a sofa with plenty of bedding. If we stay in Bondi again, this will definitely be our first choice! We arrived on a hot evening and we freaked out initially about the lack of air conditioning but having the windows open and the overheads fans in each of the bedrooms worked well to keep us pleasantly cool overnight. It was warm without being stifling at all times.
- Deb (10/5): Bondi at your doorstep! - The location was superb! Right in the very heart of Bondi with a plethora of activities at your doorstep. The apartment is very clean and comfortable. The owner was very accessible and super friendly to deal with. Our stay couldn't have been any better. Highly recommend!
- Nigel (9/5): Fantastic location and the property works very well - I would stay here again - Location is superb Kitchen and bathroom a little dated but very functional and clean.
- Brendon (10/5): Top notch - Great location, with everything we needed. Parking is hard work. Very busy area with limited parking and expensive. Speak to Ashley about better/ cheaper options. He was very helpful.
- Church (10/5): Wonderful location, great bedding and host responsive - Great location. Host was very responsive. Beds very comfortable. All amenities you could need were there.
- Kate (10/5): Perfect house in great location. - A comfortable little house in a great location.
- Stuart (9/5): Superb -
- Jacqueline (8/5): Spacious, neat and tidy and a great location. - Very easy to collect the keys. Great location. More beds than expected. Lots of room. Running very low on dishwashing liquid, dishwashing detergent. There was a musty smell in the hallway. But you couldn't notice it inside the property.
- Shane (10/5): Absolutely fantastic location - What a fantastic location, so close to the fabulous Bondi beach, 1-2 minute walk. There is a market directly across the road every week, on both Saturdays and Sundays. The host has a great info book prepared to help find the best restaurants and bars etc, this was very helpful.
- Ramy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lui (9/5): Superb -
- Emma (8/5): Very good - Location was fantastic and we all had a bed each. Had everything we needed and was nice and comfortable.
- Liao (10/5): So good - Everything Not
- Phil (9/5): Our stay was really enjoyable and close to friends and family, we attended a family wedding close to the centre do the p - The location was a small walk away from all amenities, incl the beach, restaurants and bars. The property was exactly what we asked for and well equipment.
- Karen (8/5): Very good -
- Kate (10/5): Great location supported by a very responsive host - Fabulous location. Great size Nothing
- Kate (9/5): Superb -
- Stacey (9/5): The perfect beach house stay. - The location and layout of this property were amazing! As a group of 4 we each were able to have our own beds and sleep comfortably. Being so close to Bondi beach made our days so easy and the proximity to so many amazing cafes and restaurants is a huge asset! There were coffee pods in the pantry tray, but no one could really find the coffee machine, however; as said above, there are so many cafes around that this was not a big issue.
- Marcel (4/5): Disappointing - Locaction, superficially nice apartment. Nice decoration but all a bit dated. Cockroaches! in the kitchen! sheets clean but with stains, washing machine as strange smell, not well cleaned in general (longhairs, stains on and in shelfs etc)
- Louise (8/5): Great location, really comfortable beds. Ashley was great to deal with and really responsive re parking. Older style apa - Location, beds, ceiling fans. Little touches like the chocolates and access to parking.
- Lin (5/5): Location is good, place is spacious, but the street is noisy at night, and parking is subpar. - Location is good, walking distance to Bondi beach. Place is spacious enough for a family of 4-6. Easy and helpful communication with the property owner. Parking was very inconvenient and not secure, which failed my expectation. It was supposed to be "private on-site parking" per your website, but in fact it was a narrow (one-way traffic only) driveway between two small apartment buildings and is shared with all their occupants. People have to leave their contact number on the dashboard so that they can reach you whenever someone parked on the inner side needs to drive out. It was also not secure as there was nothing stopping anyone from entering the driveway. My car was scratched even though I parked well away from the pedestrian path. I have to say it was not pleasant when our first experience after arriving at the property was to be given parking instructions from one of the apartment occupants. It wasn't that she was rude or anything, and I certainly can understand her concern/frustration with the parking arrangement when visitors come and go, but no one wants their holiday to start that way. I suggest the property owner work with the booking website to provide more accurate information about parking so that customers can lower their expectations and avoid disappointment.
The street was noisy late into nights, so not good for family with young kids.
Finally, no tax receipt was provided upon checking out as a formal practice. The booking website only provided booking confirmation which explicitly said that a tax invoice/receipt could only be issued by the property owner. However, the property owner did not have an ABN. He was very helpful but there is a limit to what he can do if you need a proper tax invoice/receipt. Again, this is something he and the booking website need to work out.
- Sharyn (10/5): Exceptional - Fantastic location for exploring Bondi. The apartment was spacious for our family of four. Would definitely stay again
- Liz (10/5): Beautiful location, clean and tidy! - Amazing location very clean and tidy Parking was challenging however the parking permits really helped which we appreciated. Also needs a vacuum cleaner - we weren't able to clean as much as we would have liked to
- J (5/5): Passable - Amazing location. Good beds for what we needed. Nice living room and little balcony. The parking arrangement is not as straightforward as its reads. It is a shared driveway, so depends on what time you arrive to whether you're free to leave first if anyone parks in front of you, or you them. Yes a piece of paper is supplied to put your name and number, but that's not a guarantee for the other cars for you.
The apartment needs a deep clean. Underneath one of the beds, after picking something up I dropped, I could see, old socks, lipstick, rubbish, huge amounts of dust and dirt. Two cockroachs were also seen running across the bedroom floor.
The dishwasher on the last day, I put a cup and a plate in, only to find the washer literally full of dishes that had not been emptied since whenever.
The kitchen tops and cupboards had almost a film over it, again, a good clean would sort this.
Tumble dryer and washer could do with being looked at/replaced.
Amenities left for guests, like salt, pepper, cooking oil, little odds and ends etc, again, sticky, grimy. Either have fresh or just don't offer.
It sounds quite negative and I apologise, just being honest and would happily give a 10!
It's an awesome place, great size, great location.
