Guest Reviews
- Nicol Zampieri (10/5): - Struttura bella e accogliente, tutti i servizi, pulizia ottima, posizione ottima vicina a tutto
- Eleonora (9/5): Se dovessi tornare a Napoli, sicuramente tornerei a casa matys da Simona! - Posizione centrale ottima! Palazzo stupendo!
- Mark (10/5): Excellent property, amazing location - The location was amazing amidst the local vibe,
The property was large and comfortable
The host was Simone was extremely welcoming It took a little time to adjust to the fact the neighborhood never stops and hence is noisy, we were provided eat plugs to sleep with at night, this was effective and we did grow used to this
- Christine (10/5): Toller Aufenthalt in Neapel!

- diane (10/5): - The owner of the apartment was very nice. Love the courtyard. A very safe place to stay. Would definitely stay here again. Also it was very very clean!
- Mariella (9/5): - Il palazzo
- David (8/5): Busy city with lots of interesting history with easy access to tours to surrounding area. - Host was there on arrival, showed us the room. Very central location with many restaurants and bars in area. Host arranged early morning taxi to train station. Traffic noise most of the time including late night. Speed of vehicles along the narrow streets.
Intorno locali ristoranti mini market ecc
- Alessandro (7/5): Lovely location, friendly staff! - Location is great. Very noisy during the night but overall good. The building is nice and is great to have a little kitchen. It’s very noisy during the night.
The sink didn’t drain well. The shower had mildew.
- Neville (9/5): A fantastic apartment, with an excellent location, right in the middle of the Spanish Quarter! - Great communication before my stay. Safe in a beautiful courtyard, smack in the middle of the Spanish Quarter. Yes, it can be noisy at times, but if you want an authentic feel for Naples, this is the place. Host kindly provided earplugs. But the weren’t needed.
- Mariana (9/5): It was very easy to contact the host, Location is perfect for tourists! - Breakfast is very very limited
- Sorcha (6/5): Place was nice, host was a bit lacking. Would do it differently next time. - The posting said that breakfast was included so I was expecting something like a breakfast buffet with other guests - I interpreted the web description as one where multiple units were available but I am not sure that I understood that correctly. Instead, there was some hard toast like crackers with a chocolate smear of some description made available and a bag of mini-biscotti. I do really appreciate that my host took the time to find some gluten free options for me. The suite was in a really interesting historical building in the Old Quarter and from the perspective, was also a really cool place to stay. Naples in general was incredibly difficult for me to navigate. Definitely the hardest spot on my 4 week trip. As a first time traveller around continental Europe, I knew that I would likely experience some challenges so I endeavoured to ask my hosts / hotels questions via email before I left as I thought that might be easier than dealing with language barriers while I travelled (I am fluent in English and speak some French and German). There were only 2 'stays' where I didn't get clear answers to my questions and this was one of them - I outright cancelled the other (long story). I believe my host did try to answer my questions; however, only through the app and it appeared like a lot of the responses were cut off or missing. I asked for just a straight up email but never got a response. I sprained my ankle and had some other difficulties and I was contacting my host to get some help but the only times I felt like I got clear and detailed responses were around me providing money.
My main issues were around getting around / finding resources. Some lessons learned:
1. There is no Uber or Lyft etc in Naples. (Long story, but TLDR - I think I avoided getting robbed and potentially assaulted by not going with an 'uber' driver).
2. The taxis are supposed to charge you a flat fee depending on the neighbourhood you are going to. At home (Vancouver, Canada), taxis do not charge flat fees. The taxis were not ethical or easy to contact. It would have been good to know the flat fee and the neighbourhood from my host.
3. There are no signs in English and the signs don't have symbols / images either. You are going to get a lot of sighing and eyerolling if you don't understand and don't speak Italian.

- Guido (10/5): Excellent! - The apartment is enormous and has everything you might need. The location is also excellent, close to a lot of bars and restaurants. Nothing.
- Magda (5/5): Passable - The location is great. The room faces a very noisy street. Earplugs were offered but still quite noisy.
- Anita (1/5): Scam - Simona, the owner operates a little scam to increase the profit of her business so please be aware when making a booking as she charges very high fees for late check in.
The only check in time is between 1:30 pm and 3 pm. So if you come at 4:30 pm like I did, which is only 1.5 hour later during daytime and even though you tell her that in advance, she will still charge you 30 EUR.
The irony is that she lives next door in the same building.
There is no fiscal invoice for this fee as the payment is in cash and she gives a paper receipt from a receipt book that you can buy in a shop.
Her late check in fees are only noted in the fine print and not transparent at all when you make a booking.
- Frankietravels (10/5): 1 night in Naples - Great location and amenities in the room.
- Pápay (10/5): In short, everything was perfect. We really liked it. The room is in the center of the town where we wanted to go anyway - Everything was perfect, very good location, very nice owner, very comfortable room.
- Simon (8/5): Very good -
- Olivia (9/5): Superb -
