• Slava (10/5): - Our stay in Venice was wonderful. Laura met us when we arrived and was very kind and welcoming to me and my family. She also gave us very useful information and tips about Venice, which made our trip much easier and more enjoyable. We really liked the apartment. It was in a fantastic location — only 2 minutes from a grocery store, about 8 minutes from the Vaporetto water buses, and around 10 minutes walking distance to many of the most popular attractions in Venice. The apartment was comfortable, convenient, and perfect for a family stay. I highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Venice.

L'emplacement est idéal pour visiter Venise. (Proche de la place San Marco). Laura nous a réservé un excellent accueil. Elle nous a donné de bon conseils. Elle est très dévouée et très disponible. Elle nous a considéré comme des membres de sa famille. A faire et à refaire. Rien.
• Anja (9/5): - Laura hat uns sehr herzlich begrüßt und alles gut erklärt. Das Apartment liegt Parterre mit der Möglichkeit bei schönem Wetter auf der Terrasse zu sitzen. Es gab 2 Bäder mit jeweils einer Dusche, Fön und sogar einer Waschmaschine. Die neue Küche war modern eingerichtet und es gab sogar Kaffee und Tee zur freien Verfügung. Gleich um die Ecke gab es einen Lebensmittelladen, sehr praktisch. Das Apartment liegt ruhig und doch zentral, man brauchte nur wenige Gehminuten zum Markusplatz und Dogenpalast bzw. zur nächsten Wassertaxistation. Es stand sehr viel Deko auf Tischen und Schränken, deshalb gab es wenig Ablagefläche für private Dinge und Einkäufe. Man war natürlich sehr bedacht, die vielen Glassachen nicht aus Versehen kaputt zu machen.

The place was not very quite because you can hear a lot of flushing, footsteps and feels like people moving their furniture upstairs all the time.

• Dawn (9/5): Thoroughly enjoyable stay. - The location was excellent, with a large supermarket at the end of the road. Laura the host was very kind and helpful, even meeting us from the vaporetto so we didn’t get lost. The beds were comfortable and the apartment had everything you needed. We would definitely recommend. The only thing we need to mention is that there were loads of mosquitoes when we were there so make sure you take plenty of spray!

Each interior room was elegant and comfortable, and having the exterior terrace was a bonus that made our Venice holiday even better. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the shutters, fly screens, and air conditioning added to our comfort. The kitchen appliances were user-friendly and made cooking easy. The apartment is situated in a beautiful area of the city, conveniently close to everything we needed. Laura went above and beyond to make our stay special. She arranged our water taxi transfers, recommended excellent restaurants, and provided great suggestions for our day trips. Thank you, Laura, for making our holiday so memorable!

She booked our water taxi to and from the airport and met us upon arrival. The apartment was very close to where the boat dropped us off so we didn't have to drag our bags around Venice.

• Grant (7/5): See above - First floor with a patio, it was 200 years old and very near a market While the host was very effusive our orientation was lacking things. Explanation of the washing machine, the fact they had mosquito plug in vaporizers that we weren’t aware of etc. We reserved a two bedroom two bathroom apartment for 2 people. We snore and sometimes need to change rooms to get a good nights rest. The advertisement stated that the apartment could accommodate 4. The host Lara told us at the time we arrived that she only sold us “ one” room for two people. She assumed we would only use one ? She told us that because we would need another bed it would cost 50 more euros. We felt like we had to pay it but it seemed a very arbitrary amount at the time. She did not give us a receipt for this. She did give us a receipt for a 40 euro city tax that she charged. Later we called to ask how the washer worked and was told that she was away and why didn’t we ask this when we arrived? This should have been addressed in an orientation. Then she wrote, wait until you get to Florence you can wash then. We felt this was assuming we even had access to a washing machine at our next location. She was good about some things but the above situations need to be rectified.

• Julie (10/5): Great location and helpful and responsive host. - Great location. Steps from the water taxi stop and grocery store next door. This place was comfortable for three persons. The host helped us book the water taxi which was a little pricey but I would highly recommend it. It was so convenient to get to the apartment in less than 20 minutes from the airport. Air conditioner was helpful. The host left us a bottle of wine. It was nice to have two bathrooms with each having a shower. One of the bedrooms needs curtains to block out the morning sun. Screens on all windows would have been nice to have so we could open the windows for fresh air.

There was a grocery store next door that was very convenient. We were 10 minutes walk from St. Marks. The apartment was a great mix of antique furnishings and new kitchen and appliances. She was so friendly and helped us in so many ways from suggesting restaurants to booking water taxis. She is great and I would highly recommend staying at her apartment.
• Peter (10/5): Fantastic location, comfy and fully stocked, with amazing kind host - Laura was so kind to us in so many ways - she booked us a water taxi to pick us up from the airport and take us to within 30m of the apartment. She met us at the dock. She left welcome coffee and tea. The apartment is in an Amazing location - 10 mins from st marks square , 1 min from a supermarket , 3 mins from the BEST ice cream shop. 6 mins from San Zaccaria water bus stop (to get to lido etc). It is very clean with microwave, fridge, small freezer, stove, kettle, coffee makers etc and v comfy too . There are shutters on the windows so if you like sleeping in the dark - it’s heavenly. Outside area was really lovely and calm too - great as Venice can get very busy. We hope to stay there again

The location is simply perfect, the property is on a quiet street but literally 30m away from a good food store, 2 minutes walk from beautiful canal and all the restaurants, shops etc. Thank you so much for your hospitality and all help!
• Charlotte (10/5): This apartment really is a welcome oasis after long crowded days. It made a good visit great! - The best beds and pillows ever! Very quiet. The patio is super. The screens on the windows are a rare treat. The supermarket next door unobtrusive but fabulously convenient! There is a map on the inside of the front door with a suggested walking route to find the apartment from the vaporetto stop. If that could somehow be sent ahead of time, it would be very helpful. Venice is a wonderful but challenging maze of passageways.
• Gary (9/5): Great villa with central location. Great host. Great city - Quiet Central location but close to main square and attractions, only 10 minute walk. Private courtyard was a real bonus, We spent a lot of time out there. Very handy for local well stocked supermarket and water taxi stop only 50m away. Our host Laura was brilliant. She was always available to book tickets, offer advice and answer any questions. She made our trip very easy. Only minor point was 2nd bedroom did not have air conditioning but had an air blower.
• Cathryn (10/5): The apartment was the perfect place to stay for our three nights in Venice. - Laura was such a wonderful hostess, welcoming us at the vaporetto and walking us to the apartment. There is everything you could possibly need, from dishes to a washer to books. A grocery store is a few steps away. The furnishings in the apartment are unique and beautiful. Laura was especially kind to my younger daughter. It was easy to walk down to the Grand Canal and St. Marks, but we were a little away from the crush of tourists. We liked everything.

• Laura (9/5): Excellent stay in the heart of Venice. - The appartment is very spacious and has a small garden terrace, so we could eat outside. There are two toilets, which is handy when travelling with family. The owner picked us up at the vaporetto stop and accompanied us to the appartment. She was very helpful and explained everything. There is a supermarket at 50m from the appartment, which also sells freshly prepared food.

Her apartment was VERY clean and everything is comfortable and well organized. We really enjoyed our stay there, The location is perfect, near the San Marco square yet out of the touristic streets.
• Sylvia (8/5): Spotless apt in a great location with everything you need in the apt to make it an enjoyable stay. - Laura was very helpful. Apt is so well equipped and we had everything we needed. The apt was absolutely spotless. Having two bathrooms was brilliant and the outdoor area was a bonus. It’s only a small thing but the two single beds are metal so every time you turned in the bed it creaked and might wake you or the other person up. It’s is in a residential block/house so you can hear the loo flushing and footsteps upstairs but it wouldn’t wake you. They can obviously hear us too! It didn’t affect our enjoyment of the apt though and would return.

Everything was perfect for us. The location was fantastic, in a nice quiet area of neighbourhood Castello. Great supermarket literally at the door with the best cheese ever! The apartment is spacious and comfortable and comes with the added bonus of a super nice courtyard area which was perfect for breakfast, afternoon chilling and dinner. So nice to come back to after a day out. Laura’s hospitality was the perfect compliment to Venice. Thoughtful and generous, she met us at the vaporetto station and helped us to the apartment, where she’d even provided food, snacks and a bottle of wine! Amazing. I couldn’t recommend Laura and her apartment any higher and can’t wait to come back! Grazie mille dolce Laura!

• Manzoor (10/5): Best holiday in Venice - We had the best of times in Venice in this fine apartment. Whole place has the personal touch of Laura, our super host. Be it the decors in the house, the bath area and the rooms, everything is classy. And the best of all is the private garden which is a luxury in the middle of venice. The place is around 7-8 minutes from St Marco square by walk. Laura was kind enough to recommend some fine restaurants around and indeed made reservations for us. We had some luggage and Laura reserved a water taxi for us from Piazzale Roma. Water taxi stop is just 25 meter from the property. Also there is a supermarket couple of steps away. We visited as a family and will be undoubtedly again our next stay in Venice!!
• Trevor (9/5): This was the ideal property and location for us as a family of four with two teenage children. - Laura was a wonderful host and attentive to our needs. We were charmed by the property which felt authentically Venetian. The location was ideal, just off the beaten track but fully accessible to all the sights, and acted as a a great sanctuary from the bustle of the city, the courtyard being a real bonus. We would definitely stay here again.

• Ekaterina (10/5): A hidden gem of an apartment with an amazing host! - We loved our stay at the Ai Greci apartment. It was one of the highlights of our 2-week trip to Italy that culminated with a 4-night stay in Venice. The apartment is a hidden gem. It is centrally located, ~5 min away from San Marco and ~10 min away from the Rialto bridge. But because it’s tucked away in a small neighborhood, it’s quiet. A nice grocery store is steps away. The apartment is very charming, comfortable, and spacious, with a large living area, two bedrooms, and two bathrooms. Pictures don’t do it justice. We also appreciated having a nice garden and air conditioning. With all these wonderful features, the biggest asset is the host, Laura. She went above and beyond to make our stay special. She told us how to get to central Venice from the train station, picked us up from the vaporetto ferry stop, explained where everything was, recommended wonderful neighborhood restaurants, made dinner reservations for us - always requesting outdoor garden seating - and even stopped by at dinner time (with her lovely dog Dior) to check how we were doing. It was like visiting your favorite aunt! We cannot wait to go back to Venice and staying at Ai Greci again. Everything was great.

• Tony (10/5): Absolutely the best place to stay in Venice - bar none and we have been traveling for 40 years... - Where to begin, this is 100% the best apartment we have stayed in for all the decades we have traveled. Laura is exceptional - kind, considerate, helpful (follow her restaurant suggestions), she cannot do enough to make your visit the best it can be. The apartment is exceptional 2 large bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, large lounge, big hallway and a huge bonus of an outside courtyard. Microwave, fridge, washing machine. 10 minute walk to St Marks square, and when you get back to the apartment, peace and quiet. There is a supermarket literally a 1 minute walk away, great selection and very reasonably priced. This apartment is fantastic - end of discussion, great for families, group of friends, not so good if you want to be in the middle of bars, hussle and bussle, but all that is a 10 minute walk away. Laura is lovely, as we were leaving Venice at 6.45am, she came to see us at a restaurant she recommended to say goodbye, such a lovely thing to do. Be the way I am a coeliac, Laura had stocked gluten free foods for me to have for breakfast. Thx restaurants she suggested were not only superb for non- coeliacs, but provided some of the best gluten free food I have ever had, see my reviews on TripAdvisor to get the tips. Almost forgot, great free wi-fi and the air-conditioning is amazing, and Venice in the middle of summer you need it !
• Michelle (7/5): Fabulous! Laura was exceptionally helpful, easy to communicate with and always asking what we needed. - My 2 adult children and I stayed here after my daughter finished University. We booked it mainly due to the outside seating space as we love sitting outside in the evening and morning. The chairs were all exceptionally comfortable (noticeably so) and the facilities were great. the second bedroom was slightly small for 2 people but still comfortable and everything else was perfect .

We are a family of four and so the set up of one double and a twin was perfect. We loved the little terrace where we ate breakfast and loved the location away from the crowds but only a short walk to St Mark’s Square and plenty of good restaurants. There’s a small supermarket conveniently located at the end of the street. Laura was lovely and she welcomed us off the boat and showed us around and gave us good restaurant recommendations. If we had one thing to say it was the bed was too hard for us, but that’s a personal thing!

• Ian (9/5): Superb - A lovely ground floor apartment, in a great location, very clean and well equipped with 2 bedrooms. The host arranged for a water taxi to pick us from the railway station, dropped us off 30M from the apartment. The kitchen had everything we needed & was good quality. Two good bathrooms with showers, plenty of hot water. The 2nd bedroom had 2 single comfortable beds but room was a bit cramped. A very quite location with plenty of good restaurants nearby, there was also a well stocked supermarket very close. There is a private garden with furniture, weather wasn’t good so we didn’t spend much time in the garden. I have no hesitation in recommending Appartamento Luxury Ai Greci for a short stay in Venice. wished could have switched on the central heating due to poor weather

• Mary (9/5): Quiet apartment away from the Rialto crowds, with plenty of room and a wonderful host! - Laura was the consummate host. She not only met us at the vaporetto stop (S. Zaccaria) and walked us to the apartment, but also pointed out the supermarket nearby, and made dinner reservations for us each night of our stay. She even walked us to the restaurants. We enjoyed a glass of wine out on the terrace each night before dinner. We left the windows open the last night and got quite a few bug bites as a result.

• Daniele (10/5): excellent - Cute apartment with Venetian style furniture and accessories. Very clean, very functional kitchen and a very quaint patio area. Location was only about 250 m from Campo Maria Formosa in a quiet neighbour hood - but in the morning you can get to San Marco Square in 12 min. There is a great full service supermarket within 50 m of the apartment that had everything we needed. Our host, Laura, was such a great person to deal with. She makes you feel very welcome. She booked our water taxi for our trip home. She also made some great recommendations on restaurants for us. She even came to say hi while we were having dinner at one restaurant! Nothing really. One side of the building is being restored on the outside and scaffolding/screening was up but it did not bother us or impact our stay, and it did not block any of our window views. We were advised in advance about this and they answered our questions about it honestly. It is great value compared to staying at a hotel, 2 bedrooms and 2 baths so you can share with your friends which makes the cost even better. I can’t recommend it more.

• Oliver (9/5): Superb - Villa Ai Greci is in a great location, slightly off the beaten track but only a 10 minute walk to St Marks square and was a welcome bolthole to escape the midsummer heat in the middle of the day. Our host, Laura was very friendly and helpful, recommending restaurants and booking them for us and organising a water taxi for our return to the airport. We were very happy with our choice of accommodation and had a lovely stay.
