• Simone (8/5): - Das Apartment liegt in einer ruhigen Gegend und ist doch sehr nah am Markusplatz, ist gut ausgestattet, bequeme Betten, herzige Terrasse, richtiges Venedig-Feeling. Die Kommunikation hat ohne persönlichen Kontakt sehr gut geklappt. Für einen Kurzaufenthalt sehr zu empfehlen.

• Lynda (7/5): Nice stay - Very good location 👌 I personally wouldn't call it a 2 bedroom, the main bedroom is beautiful the other is like a hallway leading into the main bedroom with a single bed no door in between so I could hear snoring and had to make up a bed in the lovely living room. I was ok with stairs upto 3rd floor however, anyone with any difficulties might struggle

• Lauren (7/5): Cute apartment in central location - We were only in Venice for a few days so it was great to be so close to the Piazza San Marco main attractions. It is a very touristy area though so beware if that's not what you're looking for. The vaporetto (water taxi) stops were also only a short walk which was very convenient. The apartment was clean, comfortable and the AC worked great! The hosts were very helpful, especially when we accidentally locked the keys in the apartment - they were very quick to help us get back in the apartment with a spare key, for a small cost. The apartment is on the top floor which is up 3 flights of stairs with no elevator - it didn't bother us but take note if you have issues with stairs. There's a washer in the apartment which the host kindly provided some detergent, but it was very confusing to figure out how to use the machine - instructions would have been helpful. Also, the apartment description says that there are 2 bedrooms but they're just separated by an open doorway with no door. It didn't us but if you're looking for private bedrooms, this apartment won't work for you!
• Zoe (10/5): Wonderful stay in a beautiful apartment full of charm and character in a fabulous location - The apartment was very cute (I felt we were in nonnas house) in a superb location away from the crowds but easy walking distance to all the sight seeing spots and water ferry terminal. The access was easy and out host very responsive and friendly. Air conditioning was welcome during the heatwave there. Wouldn't hesitate to return to this beautiful apartment full of character. There really wasn't anything we would have changed, it was just perfect
• Anne-grete (9/5): Superb - It is a very likeable, light filled apartment with a pleasant atmosphere, full of literature, art, and music. It feels lived in by a person whom you like instantaneously and yet it is not too personal. It is thoroughly clean and the double bed is extremely comfortable. The apartment is roomy and cosy. It is in an attractive, and practical, spot in Venice. I liked the neighbors, too. They were real people, living their lives in this house. The price is fair, and I am confident your host (whom I did not meet) will help if you have a problem. The roof terrace is a missed opportunity, I am sorry to say. Flowers and care would make a world of difference. So would mosquito nets on just one window on each side of the apartment. It would take so relatively little to make the experience of staying here perfect.

• Ekaterina (10/5): Magical apartment in the heart of the city - This was the best place to stay in Venice and experience the city like a local! The apartment is very authentic and atmospheric, located in an old building, but it is also very clean and tidy. Inside, it has everything you need and even more! There is so much space, it's very roomy! An incredible bookshelf and a collection of classical music, with the sound system spread across both ends of the apartment. But the best part is the magical balcony with a view of the rooftops of old houses. Also, the natural light here is amazing. On a clear day, you won’t want to leave the apartment – it’s so cozy! I would be happy to return again! Thank you so much and highly recommend it🤍

We were charged a “late” check in even though the owner/manager only needed to give us the code to the lock box…. He could have given it to me at anytime and not when we were standing in front of the door!

The outside spaces and proximity to the streets and sites of Venice were great. Most of his fantastic. The sitting living room area could’ve just used a little more comfortable of the set up so we could watch television on a cozy couch a little easier. Also, clearer instructions on where to put the garbage would

• Jim (9/5): Beautiful apartment with terrace in a quiet area close to great transport links - Beautiful apartment with terrace in a quiet street a few minutes from the water and a variety of ferry stops providing transport into the city as well as the airport. Friendly host and well-equipped facilities. Bedding and linen provided. Really cool collection of classical and jazz CDs as well. Nespresso machine as well as a dishwasher was really handy. Next to a 24hr supermarket for late night supplies as well as a few nice restaurants and bars. Defo visiting again!

The apartment was cozy and we felt like coming home when we returned each day. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. Highly recommended you book this apartment for your stay in Venice. The shower was a bit small, but we managed.

• Sabine (9/5): Great appartment in a great location, very nice and helpful landlord. - Beautiful and spacious rooftop-appartment in a quiet but yet central and lively area. We very much enjoyed the terrace, the cosy and artful Interieur of the flat as well as the location with a bakery and some restaurants and mini/supermarkets very nearby. Great location for visiting the biennale, only 10 min to Marcus square as well and 3 min to waterbus stops. We appreciated the airconditioning, although the flat did not seem to heat up quickly anyway. We had a perfect stay in this flat in Venice and will come back if possible! Some parts of the apartment already look a little worn, but everything functions very well. We weren’t bothered by that at all, as It gives the place a bit „bohemian style“ … The shower has only a thin jet of water, but the temperature can be adjusted very well!

• Outi (9/5): Lovely bohemian flat in - Lovely bohemian flat with great terrace/balcony. It was great to listen old CD’s and read books available in a flat. Location was good and plenty of nice restaurants nearby and Arsenale stop. Living among locals was nice. Communication was good and got all info we needed. Beds were a bit too soft to my taste and ended up sleeping on coach which was fine. Kettle did not swith off automatically, so need to pay attention to that when boiling water.

• Allen (9/5): Great place in central Venice, absolutely would stay here again. - Perfect location for us, close to St Marks in one direction, Biennale/Arsenale in the other. Lots of great food, as well as a convenience store close. 5 minute walk to Zaccaria vaporetto stop. Nice size place, full kitchen. 3rd floor porch/balcony. Host was very helpful and communicative.

• Janet (10/5): Living like a Venetian - The location is amazing...just 2 minutes from the Arsenale vaporetto stop but you feel like you're living like a local not a tourist. The apartment is incredibly spacious with every amenity you could want, plus lots of personal touches. The terrace is perfect for breakfast (beautiful pastries from the bakery you can see from the window), or a glass of wine in the evening if you manage to tear yourself away from the many bars and restaurants within a couple of hundred yards! Not really a negative because it's a feature of such a lovely building...but there are a few stone steps down to the bedroom and on to the terrace which I had to be a bit careful on, especially after that glass of wine!😆
