Extra touches such as breakfast supplies, a bottle to enjoy on our first night with potato chips. Lovely host to deal with who kindly allowed us in a little early. That we couldn’t stay longer.
- Rachel (9/5): Great spot in the heart of Venice - Met at the property and shown the apartment. Lovely and spacious, comfy bed. Prosecco and a Bellini in fridge, with crisps and breakfast items waiting for us too. Great spot for getting to everything in Venice. Gorgeous to look out into one of the waterways and see the gondolas passing by. Would recommend the restaurant 5 mins away - Hosteria Sant A’ponal. Delicious x Air conditioning broke on our last evening so was quite warm. Shower is a bit tricky to operate, but otherwise a great stay!
- Rhoda (9/5): We stayed 5 days and enjoyed every minute. As is the case in most places in Italy the food choices was fantastic. There - Everything was great. The host was very helpful and met us at the property to explain and answer all questions. The only thing is that it was very difficult to find from where we got off of the boat from Marco Polo Airport to the apartment. We found a porter and he was very helpful in transferring our luggage and finding our location. We were about a 15 minute walk to our apartment from the boat doc but there are many steps to climb and the we had to cross the main bridge with many steps. Unless you have just a carry on luggage I strongly suggest using a porter. Costly at 60 Euros each direction.

- Collerek (10/5): Awesome and cozy stay in the old town - It is the perfect location in a bit calmer neighborhood, with plenty of nice cafes/restaurants nearby, many shops to buy souvenirs etc. The apartment has everything you might need including a washing machine/dishwasher and iron with an ironing desk. The ambient is cozy and the furniture/ paintings are well selected. The bathroom is spacy and also has everything you might wish for, including plenty of space. The wifi works well and the view on the canal in the back is awesome although you have to lean out quite a bit to enjoy it in full. It's quite dark due to windows coming out into the internal patio or on the narrow canal, so even during a sunny day you might need/want to use lights, but the lighting system is well designed and you can adjust it in many ways to your taste and needs. The trash handling is a bit of a hassle since you need to drop it by yourself segregated by type on certain days etc. We love to walk so we don't mind but due to the apartment being on the other side of Canal Grande than the main attractions you need to walk around 20 minutes to get to the Doge's Palace or St. Mark Square, but hey, the city is so nice and that's what you got there for, so enjoy the way.

- John (10/5): Beautiful and spacious apartment in a prime location that made our visit memorable. - Location was excellent and the apartment was exceptional, spacious and tastefully furnished, with everything provided to make our visit perfect. I would highly recommend this to my friends The info supplied for finding the property provided by Booking.com was very poor. Also no info was given as to what actual apartment to contact when we arrived. We had to ring all 6 door bells. However, the hostess was very helpful on the telephone.

- Sandra (8/5): great location but should have communicated to us the power cut especially as it was a planned one the host knew about - We loved the decor and art spacious property I spoke to the host the day before we left and was not informed there was a planned power cut the following day so we were not prepared. It was the day we left so cold shower no hair washing and packing in very dim light
- Julie (10/5): Beautiful apartment in a great location with an amazing host! - The apartment was amazing, it was bright and remarkably cool and beautifully furnished. We had everything that we needed and more including a welcome bottle of bubbles and snacks. We were met by Betty who explained everything to us and recommended local eateries. The bed was super comfortable and the apartment was very peaceful. We will be back. Grazie Mille Carla! There was nothing not to like.

Location was in a quiet neighborhood but easy to arrive at the city center. Highly recommend. Finding the apartment was a challenge if you have never been to Venice. Host did send her housekeeper to meet us but there was some miscommunication so we were delayed checking in. I would recommend providing written instruction on how to find the apartment once you enter the piazza rather than just a photo.

It felt like a home, with lovely furnishings, art and sculptures. Nothing about it suggested that is was just a rental. Rather, all aspects were done with an eye to style and fine taste. Carla and Elisabetta were generous and responsive to our needs and questions. We've stayed in many apartments while traveling. None exceeded Il Sogno di Pier.

Carla was great in helping us figure it out.

Conveniently placed in a quiet square, with lovely trees, but an easy walk to San Marco square, the Rialto Bridge, or the Grand Canal. The contact person was available and was quick to respond.
