• Vladimirs (9/5): Perfect location for a bigger family - The location was excellent, the size of the apartment and the facilities (for Venezia) were really great. There is also a very nice local restaurant (with high rating) in the same building (next door) that we enjoyed during the first evening. The apartment has an amazing view to the sea and quick access to the ferry terminal. 5 minutes walk from the shops and only 20 min walk to San Marco square. Check out time was a bit early. Also not very clear with the garbage collection (somebody was supposed to arrive on Monday to collect the garbage but never arrived). Otherwise no major complaints.

• tatjana prof (10/5): - Man spürt die persönliche Haltung, Einrichtung und Renovierung sind liebevoll. Die Lage ist grandios für Biennale Besuche . Aber auch alle anderen Highlights Venedigs sind mit dem Vaporetto schnell erreichbar. Unsere sehr späte Anreise war möglich und wir wurde unkompliziert eingecheckt.

• Bernita (9/5): Perfekt füt einen Biennale Besuch - Perfekt um die Biennale zu besuchen. Alles sauber und gut. Perfekt für eine kleine Gruppe. Das Restaurant unten im Nachbarhaus hat uns auch gut gefallen, auch um morgens erstmal einen Kaffee zu trinken.
• Valerie (9/5): Home from home within easy walking distance to San Marco - We liked the location away from crowds and noise of centre. Looking out windows and seeing glimpses of sea through trees. Having 3 good sized bedrooms meant no one was compromising with a little room. The living area was comfortable to be together. There was always plenty hot water for showers etc. Via Garibaldi which is close to the apartment has Coop supermarket, bakery, cafes snd restaurants. The advance information sent relating to directions to apartment, restaurant recommendations etc was very helpful. It is up 3 flights of stairs which maybe a consideration for some. We loved having park and waterbus stop so close. Shower opening was narrow and shower head was low worked perfectly for me as I am short but for my two taller friends not so ideal. Also a shelf for toiletries in shower would have been helpful. Very minor issue.
• Oksana (10/5): Exceptional - The location is wonderful. It's very close to the transport, main sightseeing. The apartment is very good with beautiful view and all necessary things. I like everything.

• Marna (10/5): Wonderful apartment in a great location. - This was a lovely, fully equipped 3 bedroom apartment. Perfect location by the Bienale Giardini, close to Via Garibaldi with great restaurants and a grocery store. Excellent small restaurant right next door. Catarina sent very useful information ahead of time, and answered all questions promptly. Grateful that she arranged our transportation to and from the apartment to the airport. It is up multiple flights of stairs, which we did not mind, but some might.
• Johannes (7/5): Great location to visit Bienale - Great location to visit Bienale just around the corner. Quite neighbourhood without overtourism. Easy to reach by vaporetto. Playground in the park. Nice cafe/restaurant next to the house. Books and some toys for kids. A/C did not work. Small bathroom. Poor explanation (not translated, insufficient information) about handling the garbage.
• Matt (6/5): Comfortable stay but had issues with fees, information, and especially not receiving keys. - I eventually received the keys I should have been given key access prior to arrival. I had to wait an hour for the keys.
• Serena (10/5): Exceptional - Loved the location,it was very quiet but close to the Vaporetto. Great for families or groups. We also loved the cafe two doors down.

The last day when we arrived to reach the owner was super difficult so it was a little bit stressful. A shower for tall people is too low and water is running on the bathroom floor.

It was a charming and quaint apartment, great for families. It was on the third floor. It was tough to bring the luggage up.

All instructions and little details were great - highly recommend nothing to highlight may be more toilet tissues would have helped :)

• Jane (9/5): Great peaceful location to explore from. - Peaceful location just by the park and a relaxing and very safe feeling walk home along the promenade, out of the bustle of the centre. Ten mins walk to st marks sq and ferry stop just in front of park which all main ferries to train station and airport stopped at. Totally quiet in the evening with tree top views over to the canal. Caterina was immediately responsive on WhatsApp and very helpful. Would recommend staying here On third floor and stairs only so can be struggle if suitcases are v heavy.

• Schaedig (8/5): Despite heat, location and quality of unit make it an excellent choice. - Location was wonderful. Authenticity. Quiet. Spacious. Very warm. Current heat wave made it very challenging to achieve comfort for sleep. Air con handles common room well but being on 4th floor with current heat, it was not up to the job for sleeping rooms.

• Brooke (9/5): A delightful retreat in magical Venice - Beautifully appointed and charming property. Caterina is responsive to any questions you may have and there are guide books and reading material in the apartment. It is clear the owners have put a lot of love and considered thought into the property. Views to beautiful old buildings, and greenery in the next door park. Super close to Vaparetto stop, which allows for easy access to the sites of Venice. An easy stroll to several, lovely places to eat. There is an air conditioner that provides welcomed relief on a sunshiny day! There is a park next door and the water is a stone’s throw away. You can hear the birds and enjoy seeing the local dogs enjoying strolls with their people. We loved everything about this property! Lesson learned by our little touring party - please do not make the same mistake we made by overpacking! There are several stairs to negotiate, as is the case in many of the gorgeous buildings in Venice (no criticism of the property!) 😊

We liked the location and had an amazing few days exploring Venice. - The location was quiet and very close to the water bus for day trips into the centre of Venice and all other locations. Local shops and restaurants are very close too. It is on the third floor.

• Maria (10/5): Perfect, cosy and original. In a quiet neighbourhood, full of greenery and very well connected. - Everything. Every detail is thought from the heart. A very comfortable flat with delicious beds to rest. Very bright, cosy and perfectly clean. My nephew spent his time happily playing with all the books and toys. The neighbourhood and surroundings are beautiful, with lots of greenery and parks for children. The location is perfect for those of us who like peace and quiet. Very well connected with the vaporetto only 10 minutes from the centre or even walking along the seafront in only 20 minutes. In addition to everything you have coffee and all the necessary implements for cooking. I would definitely come back on my next visit to beautiful Venice. nothing to suggest.
• Jane (10/5): Exceptional - Large bedrooms. We all slept really well. Very clean. Great for water bus, shops and restaurants. Fully equipped with microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, hair dryer etc.
• Willem (10/5): Venice would have been less spectacular without Casa Mongolfiere. - The place is so easy to find! The views are everything I would never want to stay anywhere else in venice! The public transport boat is right on your door step…. We got off our train at Santa Lucia walked less than 100m to our line 4.1 and got off less than 100m from the accommodation. The garden is beautiful the ocean view is amazing! The bedrooms, bathroom and kitchen has enough space. The bedding is Amazing, the kitchen well equipped and we just loved the space so much we slept in every morning! Venice would have been less spectacular without Casa Mongolfiere

• Naye (9/5): It was enjoyable, clean and pretty - I liked the atmosphere of the neighborhood and the house itself It was clean and it was super close to the aquabus station It could have been nice to know there's no elevator. We had huge suit cases and it was hard for us to bring them to the 4th floor
