• Isaac (10/5): Perfect location, great style, full facilities - We loved this apartment. The location is the best: central but quiet. Five minutes walk to S. Marco, seven to Rialto, convenience store across the path, S. Maria Formosa square with cafe’s and restaurants within one minute walk. It suited four adults and two teens very comfortably. Our host Nicola was very helpful and kind.
• Dr. Markus (7/5): Saubere, gepflegte Unterkunft mit Platz für vier Erwachsene - Die Unterkunft ist zentral gelegen, die Wohnung ist groß, sie liegt im ersten Stock eines kleinen Hauses. Die Räume entsprechen der Beschreibung, es gibt eine sehr praktische Wohnküche mit normaler Ausstattung. Die beiden Schlafräume sind ziemlich gleich groß, es gibt ein größeres und ein sehr kleines Bad. Schön ist der große Spiegel. Vier Personen können sich hier gut aufhalten. Die Unterkunft ist schwierig zu finden, da Google Maps die Schreibweise der Straße so nicht kennt. Den Vermieter haben wir nicht kennengelernt, seine Anweisungen und Empfehlungen kamen per WhatsApp. Die Wohnung selbst ist eher dunkel, aber das ist in Venedig auch kaum anders möglich. Außerdem ist die Gegend extrem belebt und touristisch überlaufen. Die Ausstattung der Wohnung ist eher schlicht, aber es ist alles sauber. Typisch natürlich für Italien ist die gemeinsame Bettdecke bestehend aus Laken und Überdecke. Das Wohnzimmer ist quasi unmöbliert, es findet sich dort nur ein Sofa und ein Fernseher.

• Reyes (9/5): Céntrico apartamento veneciano con todos los detalles para una estancia perfecta. - El apartamento es muy bonito, tal y como aparece en las fotos. Está súper limpio y el anfitrión, Nicola, es muy simpático y amable. Habla un español perfecto, lo que facilita mucho las cosas. Se comunica perfectamente por whatsapp y da un montón de buenos consejos y recomendaciones. Está en pleno centro de Venecia, en un enjambre de callejones estrechitos, pero muy fácil de localizar y a sólo 5 minutos de la Piazza de San Marcos y de Rialto. Perfecto para nuestra familia de 5 personas. Repetiría. Me gustó todo mucho pero baños un poco pequeños, aunque la potencia y calidad de las duchas, estupendas. La cocina tiene muy poca luz y, como la casa está entre callejones (normal en Venecia), tampoco entra mucha luz exterior por las ventanas. Recomendaría poner más bombillas en la gran lámpara de la cocina/comedor.

Me gustó mucho la amabilidad de Nicola, el anfitrión, estuvo en comunicación conmigo desde el primer momento para coordinar nuestra llegada y nos mostró personalmente el uso del apartamento y cada habitación. Fue muy amable con sus recomendaciones, el lugar está muy bien cuidado, moderno y súper cómodo. Nos gustó mucho la estancia, mi familia (5 personas) estuvimos muy contentos! Recomendamos a este anfitrión y el alojamiento. Todo estuvo súper.

• Riverside Appartements (10/5): - Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit in Doge's House. Die Lage ist hervorragend, die Ausstattung ist perfekt. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Alles sehr sauber und gepflegt. Das Appartement ist mit Waschmaschine, Trockner, Heizung und Klimaanlage ausgestattet. Die Betten waren sehr bequem. Die Trattoria genau gegenüber ist ausgezeichnet.

• LAETICIA (10/5): Superbe appartement en plein centre de venise - Le séjour a été parfait, l’appartement est spacieux, refait à neuf , il y a deux salles de bain ce qui est un gros plus pour une famille de 4 personnes , Nous étions à 5 min de la place saint marc et de tous les commerces et restaurants. Nous avions une arrivée tardive et notre hôte Nicolas nous a envoyé tous les renseignements nécessaires pour que nous puissions effectuer notre arrivée tous seuls . A 10 minutos andando a la plaza de San Marcos, unos 30 a la Piazzale Roma, a 10 minutos de la cadena de supermercado Coop. El apartamento amplio y confortable. La cocina equipada para cocinar. Tiene lavadora y secadora. Entrada privada. Estancia muy silenciosa. El anfitrión muy amable y atento. Si volvemos a Venecia seguro que nos alojaremos allí de nuevo.

Communication before the stay is problematic, during the stay it is ok. Overall the property is good...unfortunately it leaves you with a feeling of a tourist trap. I would not choose it again

• Braňo (10/5): Pekný, príjemný a čistý apartmán s dvomi spálňami - Tento apartmán je zložený z dvoch samostatných spální, každá má vlastnú kúpeľňu. Ideálny je napríklad pre dva páry, respektíve pre 4 ľudí. Sú tam veľmi pohodlné dve manželské postele, na ktorých sa dobre spí. Je tam celkom ticho a čisto. K dispozícii je aj klimatizácia pre každú spálňu zvlášť, aj kávovar s kapsulami. Privítal nás veľmi milý pán majiteľ, vtipný a slušný, ktorému ešte raz ďakujeme za príjemný pobyt. Jedinou nevýhodou je to, že tento apartmán nie je vhodný pre osoby s ťažkosťami pohybu, keďže obidve spálne sa nachádzajú na poschodí, je potrebné prejsť dlhšie, pomerne strmé schodisko. Inak je tento apartmán naozaj super a veľmi ho odporúčame.

• Teodora (10/5): Charming and comfortable - Lovely 3 bedroom apartment with 2 bathrooms, a kitchen and a service room, hidden amongst the winding streets in the beating heart of Venice. Comfortable beds, clean towels, warm water in the shower- everything a tired traveller needs. Also, both bathrooms have showers, which is great. The neighbourhood is quiet and peaceful, even though it is central. The rooms retain something of the splendour and elegance of bygone eras, but with all the advantages of modern facilities. It's really close to Piazza San Marco, and at the end of the street there's a really good restaurant as well. The host, Nicola, was very kind and helpful, his warm welcome really did make for a brighter start of our Venice trip. He also offered us tips on how to get around the city, where we could eat something tasty and gelato places. Great stay. Highly recommend.

Il est très bien situé et à quelques minutes de la place Saint-Marc et des vaporettos. L'hôte était présent pour nous accueillir à notre arrivée. Nous étions 5 (2 adultes et 3 adolescents).

Plusem była również pralka oraz suszarka do dyspozycji. Czystość oraz klimatyzacja rewelacja! Właściciel sympatyczny, bardzo miło nas przywitał, w dodatku polecił nawet dobrą pizzę 🇮🇹❤️ Lokalizacja obiektu praktycznie w samym centrum najpiękniejszych miejsc. Totalnie nic!

It is lovely, clean, fully equipped and in an ideal location. It is an easy walk from the Rialto and from St Mark’s. The host, Nicola, is attentive and welcoming. We love it and look forward to returning again. Absolutely nothing. Well they could charge less, that would be nice, but there is nothing that should be changed about the Doge’s House itself.

• Shahla (10/5): Freshly renovated apartment, absolutely perfect for families !:) - Writing this review straight from the airport on our way home – we’ve had an absolutely fantastic stay in this apartment! First and foremost, I have to highlight the host, Nicola, who welcomed us personally at the apartment and surprised our daughter – who was celebrating her birthday – with a lovely card and a bottle of prosecco. Such a kind and thoughtful host! We also received lots of great advice and tips for enjoying Venice and making the most of our stay. Doggys House has everything you need, whether you’re a big family or a group of friends. The apartment is bright, fresh, beautifully decorated, and spotlessly clean. A big plus was the separate laundry room in the hallway – fully equipped with everything you need to freshen up your holiday clothes. The kitchen is well-equipped, with a capsule coffee machine, a drip coffee maker, and even a third option – making breakfast easy and enjoyable. It was also a nice touch to find bottled water and sparkling water waiting in the fridge! The apartment has two spacious bedrooms with double beds and two modern bathrooms – very convenient for larger groups. There’s also a living room with a sofa bed. The location is perfect, just a short walk from both St. Mark’s Square and the Rialto Bridge, with supermarkets and great restaurants nearby. One thing is certain: Doggys House is now our home in Venice! We’ll gladly return. Thank you so much for everything, Nicola – until next time !:) Nothing

• Madolyn (10/5): Perfect Location. Lovely Apartment. - Absolutely loved the location. Central to everything. The apartment was lovely. The host made sure we had all the creature comforts. Coffee and Tea bar well stocked. A nice cold bottle of Prosecco to enjoy upon our arrival. The bedrooms were large and the beds very comfortable. The apartment only a very short walk from the water taxi dock. Super easy to access. The host was very responsive, quick to assist and helpful in every way. I recommend private water taxi from Marco Polo Airport to the San Zaccaria Monument water port. Only a 5-7 minute walk from there to apartment. There will be a few canals you will have to take the steps up and over. Packing light is recommended. I have nothing to add here. There was truly nothing I did not like.

Apartment was spotless clean , very cozy and new. Our hosts ware very helpful and left for us coffee, biscuits and bottle of prosecco , it was really nice . • Mariana (9/5): Worth the walk and the value! - The apartment is excellent!! Very clean and comfortable! The sofa bed is separate from the commom area, you can consider 3 dorms. If you have carry on luggage be sure you have physical health to walk from the boat port to the apartment, it´s 10-15min walk but 3 bridges to cross.

It also had a smart tv which was nice and good air conditioning. - The apartment was very clean, beautiful, and had everything we needed. We were there three night and the location was quiet but very close to everything. The first night we ate right across the street. It was very good. There was a bottle of Prosecco, bisquits, toast, jam and other items that were so nice to have. We also love having a very nice washer and dryer. The place appeared like it had just been renovated. Absolutely beautiful. Two big beds and two full baths which is hard to find The only thing that might make the bathroom shower safer would be a floor mat to prevent slipping and paper towels in the kitchen.

• Stéphane (9/5): A perfect place for perfect memories - We spend 3 days in this gorgeous appartment. Everything was perfect. Every room, every bathroom was super clean. All you need is in this appartment and even things we thought it will be unnecessary. We had a rainy day, no problem : there was umbrella for every member of the family. The appartment is very well located. For both sightseeing and nightlife. And you are 15 mn away from the Rialto Bridge, the most direct access to the airport. Thank you Ilia for you kindness and your responsiveness. It was my mother birthday and we even discovered a bottle of champagne in the fridge. Don't hesitate, this place is amazing ! The lack of luminosity in the appartment, but, in Venise, every street are tiny, so, it must be impossible to have a very bright appartment. And maybe it's better : it protects people from the summer heat.

• Andy (10/5): Ideal property in every way. - Everything was first rate. Our flight was 3 hours late but Ilia still met us with a smile at The Rialto and took us to the property. She showed us around methodically and thoroughly, nothing was too much trouble. She also texted the next day to make sure we didn’t need anything. The whole place was so clean you could eat off the floor. It is a good, central location. St Mark’s and The Rialto are both within 10 minutes. A good trattoria less than 5 minutes away. No negatives at all.

The house was exactly what we have seen in the photos, even better I would say. Our host, Ilia was great as well. Very helpful with a smile :) Nothing! Everything was great! Please careful when you try to find the place in Google maps! Use the address of the House and not the name, as there is another place with a name Doge House and not Doge's House which is the correct name!
