• Annadancie (10/5): Location, location, location as well as a wonderful host. - This was a favorite say during our recent vacation to Italy. I've heard the horror stories about Venice and how crowded it is. But making the decision to stay in the Cannaregio district was a great one. Yes, there were people, but not like we had expected. We had an entire apartment to ourselves near amazing restaurants, an impressive grocery store and fun activities. The location was perfect! Our host Elisa was kind and helpful and made the process easy. Besides being centrally located, the apartment was clean and well stocked. We could not have been happier with this stay. Thank you from Oregon, Elisa! Also, do not miss the cicchetti at Vino Vero!

La ayuda que nos prestó Elisa en todo momento via teléfono por si teníamos algún problema y las indicaciones que nos dio para llegar al apartamento, para llegar al aeropuerto, etc Dispone de todo lo necesario para pasar unos días fantásticos en Venecia. Nada.

• María Jesús (10/5): Un alojamiento que garantiza una estancia en Venecia de 10. - Todo, ya que no solo tiene una buena ubicación, sino que está muy bien equipado, limpio, cuidado y muy confortable. Elisa, su dueña, merece un apartado especial; además de los detalles de bienvenida que nos dejó y de las indicaciones que nos ofreció, estuvo pendiente en todo momento. Es un alojamiento muy recomendable.

• Rebecca (10/5): The most amazing and memorable holiday in Venice Thank you Elise it was a perfect stay - Casa Mariamaddalena was the perfect place to stay It is a hidden gem right in the heart of Venice Elise the host was brilliant, her communication with us was outstanding which made arriving so easy Elise even checked in to see if we needed any other help and were happy with our accommodation. The accomodation was perfect it had everything we needed and more Elise added her own touch with drinks in the fridge and goodies for us on our arrival The bed was very comfortable and place so quiet I would be happy to recommend Elise’s place to anyone and will definitely be recommending it to my friends if they are travelling to Venice Nothing the place was perfect
• Hiltrud (9/5): - Die Wohnung ist klein, aber sehr gut ausgestat tet. Neben dem Doppelbett im Schlafzimmer gab es ein sehr gutes Sofabett in der Wohndiele. Matratzen sind bequem. Lage zentral aber sehr ruhig. Um die Ecke gibt es alles, was man braucht, inkl. einem netten Bistro/Bar, in dem man vom Frühstück bis abends um 21 Uhr immer etwas Leckeres bekommt. Die nächste Vaporettostation S. Marcuola ist 5 min entfernt. Elisa hat sich sehr bemüht, immer nachgefragt, ob es uns gut geht, oder etwas fehlt. Im Kühlschrank waren Proseco, Wasser und Saft. Kaffee war auch da. Danke Elisa! Wir kommen gern wieder! -
• Warnder (9/5): Quiet apartment in an excellent location, ideal for a short city break - Ground floor apartment close to Strada Nuova, very convenient location, a 15 minute walk from S. Lucia station. Quiet street. Host very friendly and helpful - although we only had contact via WhatsApp. Matrass of the master bed was too soft for our taste. No washing machine, no dishwasher.

The facilities were great had everything you needed, If you wanted to cook everything was there. A minor thing, but the shower was a bit small (something we have encountered on our whole trip). However, it was very sufficient.

Such a beautiful home for our few days in Venice, it was an absolute pleasure to stay here, and I can't express enough how kind and thoughtful the owner was. I was a bit anxious about finding the place as Venice can be a bit confusing, but thanks to the directions and photos sent we had no problem. Everything was a delight and I can't wait to come back. This is the best place I have ever stayed, it was so nice that we hardly wanted to touch anything for fear of making a mess, but no, we really felt at home here. Nothing at all, everything was great
• Ferenc (10/5): Super - The accommodation is in an excellent location, close to Santa Lucia train station, San Marco, and Rialto Bridge. Vaporetto is also close. Ferrovia. Opposite the train station. The apartment is well equipped, and the same can be said about the hygiene. There is everything you need for a pleasant stay. Elisa was waiting in the fridge with champagne and soft drinks. Very helpful and accommodating. We would go back anytime. I hope we will. Ilona Ferenc Hungary It wasn't like that

Before our arrival, she sent us very detailed check-in instructions, including photos, which made everything super easy. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a lovely welcome gift – wine and sweets – which made us feel right at home. The apartment was very well-equipped with coffee, tea, and all the essentials, and it was spotlessly clean. But what truly impressed us the most was Elisa’s kindness and willingness to help. After we left, she reached out to let us know she had found a watch we had forgotten. Not only did she send it to our home address, but she also covered the shipping costs and refused to accept any reimbursement. This level of hospitality is truly rare, and we are so grateful for her kindness. We highly recommend staying here and will definitely be back! 💙

The appartament has a very good location,a few minutes from vaporeto station San Marcuola casino line 2 and 1..very usefull to go wherever you want..minutes away by foot till Rialto or Ferovia..very peacefull during nite for a good sleep.. Inside you find all you need in the kitchen and bathroom like home to make your sejour very nice..there was nothing we needed and not find it in the appartament..also note 10 cleaning which is a very important thing for all tourists for sure..the decor is very elegant..we loved it... Also we had a welcome surprize in the kitchen,very apreciated and well recieved☺️ We gladly recommend Casa Mariamaddalena for an wonderfull sejour in Venice,you will love it and we will come back for sure if it will be available next time when we will have the chance to visit Venice Nothing

The neighbourhood was friendly and perfect for getting a flavour of Venice beyond the touristy areas. The little kitchen gave flexibility in terms of food prep. Elisa the host was kind and helpful in communication throughout. The apartment was exactly what we needed and we had a lovely time.

• Andriej (8/5): Very good - Nice, clean apartment. is located in a good place. The apartment's windows face the back side of the restaurant. Outside there is a fridge and air conditioning unit that run all the time. Unfortunately the noise is such that you can't open the window at night. That's why the room is stuffy.

• Angela (10/5): Perfect small apartment, given nice personal touches by the owners to enhance your stay. - This is not an abnb. But variety of excellent coffee tea biscuits and chocolate sweets, cooking essentials (olive oil, salt, dried pasta, plus a bottle of prosecco (nice touch) are provided. I am fussy. This little apartment really suited me. Very easy to get to and fro in the very busy streets and canals of venice. Even better, superb coffee/breakfast stop just in front of the Church.
• Carol (10/5): Perfect location, clean, well equipped and friendly helpful owner! - Lovely property in a great location to discover the best parts of Venice. Lots of shops, bakeries, and of course ice cream shops on the doorstep. Easy to locate as it's right behind a massive church and the owner has very helpfully put a mini torch on the keyring to make it super easy to find the lock at night. Nice and quiet, it does back onto a restaurant but the tables are at the front so you don't get any noise from that either! Owner has obviously put a lot of thought into making your stay comfortable and easy, she answered questions within minutes and always had helpful suggestions. The bottle of pink fizz in the fridge to welcome us was also very much appreciated! You must go to the "theatre" supermarket during your stay (left when you get onto the main "street") very reasonable prices and it's literally in a theatre so make sure you look up for the amazing frescoes covering the roof! Nothing - for the price paid we couldn't have had a better base.

• Paul (10/5): A gem hidden away from the endless throngs that besiege Venice. - Elisa’s directions (and photos) made easy work for finding the property, not always an easy proposition within the rabbits’ warren that are Venice’s calles. The place has a mostly modern decor but with traditional venetian flourishes The bathroom is well appointed albeit compact. We felt comfortable from the moment we walked in. I have nothing negative to report.
