• Janis (9/5): Great stay in Castello if you ar visiting Venice Art Biennale! - Location is wonderful, but we have always loved Castello. It was easy to check in, and with some rainy, cold days, we enjoyed the central heating. The host had an assistant, and she was lovely, giving some great advice. The apartment is equipped with clean bed linen and towels, toilet paper is provided. The approach is a little surprising when soap, shampoo, or shower gel is literally a little left. It seems strange. We usually travel with our own, and as an experienced host, I noticed this right away. It is better not to leave at all than to leave a little

• Maria (10/5): Cudowne autentyczne mieszkanie w centrum Wenecji - Wspaniała lokalizacja w historycznym centrum! Bardzo miłe i ciepłe powitanie, bezproblemowe przekazanie kluczy. Elisa bardzo miła i pomocna, przecudowna. Było dużo miejsca, wszystko było wygodne i czyste. Ładne i wygodne mieszkanie w stylu vintage. Zdecydowanie polecam apartament DoMarie na pobyt w Wenecji. Nie ma do czego się przyczepić. Było super!

• Olga (9/5): Необыкновенная атмосфера в старинном здании посреди вечной красоты! - Потрясающее место в историческом центре! Двухэтажная квартира со всем необходимым в старинном здании. Комфортные большие кровати, тишина и чудесные черепичные крыши старинных домов и церквей из окна. Для нас двоих это было очень просторное жилье с возможностью приготовить себе пищу (есть и плита и холодильник). Удобно и то, что в доме есть кондиционер, но не такой, который дует горячим/холодным воздухом, от чего многие болеют, а аккуратный подогрев при помощи радиаторов - чудесно и экологично! Быстрый интернет, вся кухонная утварь, красивая посуда, безукоризненное постельное белье. Работница, что нас встретила, убралась плохо и потом пришла без предупреждения. В конце нашего пребывания она отчитывала нас за то, что не вынесли мусор в 9 утра - не отнесли на соседнюю улицу к мусорной лодке (хотя о том, что мы должны его вынести, она написала в сообщении в 8.30, когда мы еще были в постели, а чек аут был запланирован на 11.00 (и мусор все равно бы накопился , например, упаковки от еды для завтрака, ненужные чеки и прочая мелочевка). Хозяйка квартиры сказала, что примет меры и другие гости не будут испытывать этих неудобств.

• Sven (10/5): - Ich hatte die Unterkunft bereits zweimal gebucht. Auch diesmal fand ich alles wie gewünscht vor. Elisa war überaus zuvorkommend.

• Christine (10/5): Tyisch venezianisches wohnen, gemütlich und schön! - Die Lage der Unterkunft war für uns perfekt: nebenan ist eine sehr leckere Osteria, die Gasse hinunter einen Café, wo man morgens Cappuccino und Cornetti bekommt, um die Ecke gleich ein Gemüseladen, eine Bäckerei, eine Metzgerei- und alles sehr malerisch, untouristisch und günstig! Die kleinen Gassen und alten Häuser haben einfach einen unheimlich romantisch-gemütlichen Charme. In der Unterkunft selbst ist es ruhig und angenehm. Es ist alles da, was man braucht! Wir haben per WhatsApp einen Zugangscode und eine Einweisung bekommen, das hat problemlos geklappt. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt! Das Wasser war sehr stark gechlort, sodass es selbst für Kaffe oder Tee sehr unangenehm geschmeckt hat-aber dafür kann die Unterkunft nichts.

• Kseniia (9/5): Absolutely amazing experience! - The apartment is located in a beautiful and quiet area, you won’t find here crowds of tourists. But you can get to the city centre quite quickly. Despite of the fact that the apartment is in «vintage» style, there is no mold or dampness. And we loved our staying in such an authentic place, it was adorable. The bed linen and blankets were quite old.

Wir kommen gern wieder. - Gute Kommunikation über Booking (vor der Anreise) bzw. über WahtsApp/SMS (vor Ort), unkomplizierte Schlüsselübergabe, sehr nette Gastgeberin und Nachbarn, gute Lage, älteres Wohnhaus aber mit Liebe im guten Zustand erhalten. Die Moskitonetze an Fenstern könnten dichter sein. Es ist aber wirklich der einzige negative Punkt, was uns auffällt.

• Dziyana (10/5): Exceptional - We had a wonderful stay at this atmospheric apartment in Venice. The place had so much charm and character, which made our experience truly special. The kitchen was very well equipped, with all the necessary dishes and utensils for cooking, which we really appreciated. There was plenty of space, and everything was comfortable and clean. Elisa welcomed us warmly and was extremely helpful throughout our stay, always ready to answer any questions we had. We are also very grateful for the flexibility and the opportunity to check in earlier. The location of the apartment was perfect — close to major tourist spots, yet tucked away in a quiet area, allowing us to enjoy the authentic atmosphere of Venice without the crowds. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable — we would definitely love to come back!
• Ellen (9/5): A pleasant stay in a traditional Venetian apartment. - Stepping into the flat, we were transported into what felt like a traditional Venetian home with all of the accommodations included. I was so grateful to find an Italian espresso maker, espresso, and sugar on our first morning! The host was very communicative, and their assistant was helpful in guiding us through the labyrinth of Venice to the apartment. A little out of the bustle of Venice's main attractions and in a calm neighborhood, we enjoyed weaving our way through the streets. I didn't realize that Italy had different outlets than Spain and Portugal, and it was so helpful to find adapters sitting out for us. We would have loved to make use of the loft space; however, it desperately needs to be cleaned. After all of our walking around, we slept alright; however, I would recommend upgrading the beds and pillows, and securing the screens to keep the mosquitoes out.

• Anastasija (9/5): Lovely and reasonably priced apartment in Venice - Location was super convenient. Lovely residential area of Venice. Local shops, cafes, bars and restaurants. Very short walk to the vaparetto stop. Easy to get to with the luggage. Apartment well equipped and super clean. Communication with the host was spot on. We very much enjoyed our visit to Venice. I would definitely recommend DoMarie apartment for your stay in Venice. AC wa a bit loud to sleep with it being on. Mosquitoes nets were damaged, therefore got bitten a lot. But there is nothing you can do, these insects are very common in the city. Be aware that there are steps to get into the property. Hand luggage is easy to carry, but might be difficult with larger suitcases. Other than that place was lovely and authentic.
• Kate (10/5): Loved it - would come back! - Great location, lovely building in the heart of old Venice - plenty of charm and old features. Well stocks, toasty warm in the cold weather of a March visit and the host was full of great ideas for our visit.
• Agnieszka (10/5): Very nice stay in Venice - Very comfortable place in authentic old building. Close to all attractions and water taxis stops, but in the quiet area, with local bars and shops. In the apartment you have everything you need and host is very friendly and easy to reach.
• Mathew (9/5): Superb - The beds were fantastically comfortable and the space itself was perfect for families. Was in a great location and very walkable. It was in a quiet area, but only a 15 minute walk from everything. Nothing wrong with the property and not their fault at all, but just a tip for anyone looking to stay there. When you look at the location, use the map provided on booking.com and do not copy the address and put into google maps. Using google maps will pin the address at a different location.

• Abdullah (9/5): lovely cosy apartment for a great value price - absolutely loved this place and would definitely come back again if I get this lucky and find the apartment available and not fully booked for months. location is a bit far from the san marco square but the whole of venice is walkable so its 10-15 mins max. apartment is very nice and comfortable. the wifi never worked, and the pillows smelled strong detergent for those who might be allergic.
• Erin (9/5): A wonderful apartment to stay in Venice. - This is a great area of Venice to stay in. Sylvia was very helpful with places to eat, things to do & when we hadquestions while there. The apartment was clean, comfortable and enough space for two adults. Just know there are steep stairs going up into the apartment. Not a problem for us but could be for other people.

• Orhan (10/5): super location. perfect host. super house. - Everything is available at home. Just bring your luggage and come. The host is a super person. helped with everything. She came to pick us up from the boat. gave us information about the city. I would definitely recommend. There is a nice area for families with children on the rooftop. Everything was perfect. We did not experience anything negative.
• Werner (9/5): Perfect stay. - We were picked up by Silvia who warmly welcomed us, led us from the Vaporetto station to the apartment, showed us the apartment and gave us all information we needed about the infrastructure around. We really thank her for that. The apartment itself was clean and equipped with all we needed and best of all, it was deadly quiet at night. Who travells with children it would be fun for them to sleep on somekind of a platform directly under the roof. We also liked the the area around which was living area of the locals with some food shops, little restaurants and bars. So it was really a relief to walk back from the overcrowded touristic area through little streets and crossing little canals. Walking to downtown takes just about 20 minutes and the vaporetto station (Celestia) is not more than 5 minutes away. All perfect for us. The following I would not rate negative for it has not at all been a problem for us. But we feel it should be known when choosing this apartment. It is second floor so you need to carry your luggage up and down. As the roof is not insulated it might get hot during summer. The bathroom is small, for big people it might be a problem. And last but not least you can hear people in the house next door if they do loudly speak. But always have in mind it is a house build 500 years ago and we all come to Venezia to see and experience the past. So be a bit tolerant.

• Sri (9/5): COnvenient location, nice host and great value for money - The location was in a quiet residential neighborhood in a cozy street close to some bars and restaurants. 5 min by walk to San Zaccaria. Very soacious place, furnished in Venetian style. The kitchen was well equipped and the facilities were quite good.
• Ana (10/5): Very good choice for a stay in Venice - Very nice and cosy appartment in a super area, quiet and at the same time close to the center of the city. Shops are nearby to get all the necessary items and good products.
• Elisabetta (8/5): Great mini - apartment in a quiet side lane in an authentic corner of Venice - The peace and quiet at night. The cooking facilities and equipment. The fact that, in the overall Venetian panorama, the lodgings are located in one of the less touristy areas, and thereby far more authentic than just about everything that is comprised between Santa Lucia Station and St. Mark's Square. Everything was fine, no minus points as such. The bedlinen and mattresses are of the old Italian kind.... this means there are bedsheets and blankets/covers (no duvets), and that the mattresses are made out of compacted wool or other fabric matter and as such give your back no support. But we slept quite well on them nevertheless.
