• suzanne (7/5): Fine and acceptable - Quiet location, responsiveness of host, roomy apartment represents fair value for money. Short walk to everything Shower pressure was weak, dead plants on terrace, poor quality and quantity of towels, would have been nice to have had a few coffee pods on arrival as picture indicated that there were some. On website, the apartment looks sparkling clean and bright but reality is that it’s darker, more rustic and not as welcoming as expected.

• William (5/5): Not what we were expecting........... - No Breakfast ( not expected ) The appartment was advertised by Booking.com as CA'PESARO, ROOFTOP FLAT. This implies an apartment, if not on the roof ( quite common in Venetian large buildings ) surely nearby. This palazzo is on the Gand Canal so views of Venice & canal were therefore expected. In reality the flat is NOT even very near the palazzo. Tucked away many buildings further in. The flat was offered as a 2 bedroom. One of the bedrooms was obviously a sitting room originally. Therefore the small hallway was called the sitting room. Not ideal. The 'terrace' was extremely small and uninviting. However the owner, Barbara, was extremely hospitable and welcoming.

• s (9/5): - Big comfortable bedrooms, large bath, kitchen with everything needed plus more, and wonderful to have the deck to enjoy morning coffee or apertivos. The host was an amazing help and went out of her way to get us where we needed. Close to vaporetto and easy walk to lots of restaurants and attractions. Mosquitoes were an issue so couldn't have windows open at night, even in october. Screens would have been great.

• Sherry (10/5): Great location and a great host. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. Thank you to our host!😊😊 - The flat was very spacious and clean. The kitchen had lots of supplies to do any cooking and it was a great location. Our host was VERY quick to respond to my texts and very helpful with instructions to get to the flat as well as good recommendations on good restaurants and nearby grocery stores.
• Lidija (7/5): Spacious and clean apartment, not very practical - Spacious and clean apartment, beautifully decorated, nicely positioned in a quiet area, a few minutes walk from Rialto bridge and San Stae water station. There's a small convenience store and nice coffee shops and restaurants, a few minutes away. The apartment is spacious and comfortable, the kitchen is equipped with essentials, and the terrace is a great asset. Bedrooms are big, and the beds are comfortable. One ac did not work and we could not use that bedroom, as it was very cold in the evening. Every morning at 9 am, a dustman was ringing our interphone to open the main building door. We were awake before that time, but considering the fact it is a touristic place and you may want to sleep longer, it can be annoying. There is no living room in the apartment, a small size tv is in one of the bedrooms, not very practical.

Bedrooms are really large, kitchen is well equipped with everything you need for cutlery, plates, glasses, pantry items. It was well heated too, so we were very comfortable during winter. Very small details - water pressure in the shower was quite low

• Larissa (10/5): Wonderful base from which to explore Venice. - Excellent location with easy access to San Stae vaporetto. In a quieter area of Venice yet still close to wonderful bars, restaurants, shopping and local supermarket. The apartment is styled in traditional Venetian decor and very well appointed especially for a longer stay. The terrazza with views over the rooftops is a highlight. The host, Barbara, is exceptional in her attention to detail and kindness. The mosquitoes were a bit annoying but that’s the time of year.
• Steeve (9/5): Superb - Located in a calm section of Venice but near of the action as well. The location is really perfect to visit the city by walk or by using the vaporetto. The stops for boats is at less than 2 minutes of the apartment. Well furnished and comfortable. Air conditioner, washing machine and dishwasher has been are real plus.
• Nicolai (9/5): We had a great time in Venice, the location was perfect for getting around, and we had no problems with the apartment. - The AC worked great, the kitchen had everything we needed and the beds were comfortable. The balkony was our personal highlight for dinner and morning coffee. The location was great, close to the ferry and lots of food options close by.

• Teresa (10/5): Authentic apartment in good location with a great host - Everything about the apartment is excellent. It is very spacious, with comfortable beds, an eat-in kitchen with laundry machine and lovely bathroom with a bathtub. The decor is typically Venetian, with chandeliers and early modern furniture. The kitchen is quite well supplied, so we could have prepared dinner had we wanted to. We were aware there was no lift, which should be expected as it is a residential building. It’s also quiet for good night’s sleep. Barbara was an excellent host. We were not able to take her up on one of her restaurant tips, but did enjoy the others. The location is convenient—not too far from the vaporetto for getting your luggage over, and very easy to ride up and down the main line. We would definitely recommend the rental. Nothing

The location was great, most of the area is in walking distance. The very clean and spacious apartment was very comfortable. If the roof balcony was re decorated, it would be a more welcoming feeling.. No lift in the apartment, recommended a small suitcase.

Great location, away from crowded tourist areas, but close to local cafes, wine bars and shops. Three minutes walk to San Stae vaporetto stop so very easy to reach. An excellent and attentive host.

Apartment: authentic traditional Venetian decor, spotless, great air conditioning and comfortable beds. Representation accurate. Owner: easy checkin, responsive to request, offered to make restaurant reservations-overall wonderful communication experience’ Nothing…..but understand how 3 flights of stairs to negotiate may be difficult for mobility challenged!
