• Mrcl66 (7/5): Tsja.. prima locatie, bedden slechtste sinds tijden - De locatie is helemaal goed, de inrichting van het appartement bijzonder. Supermarkt om de joeh Bedden waren harder dan karton. Zelfs ik kreeg er pijn in mijn heupen van. En als je zegt dat er shampoo ea is, zorg dan dat er genoeg is. Douche was te laag. Degene die ons naar het huis bracht, verweet mij dat ik laat reageerde. Na bellen zou hij er binnen een kwartiertje zijn. Om 20 uur wist hij dat we er om 20.45 zouden zijn. Hij dus ook zei hij om vervolgens 25 minuten later aan te komen. Heel slecht.

• NOHEMI (10/5): Very cozy and comfortable place. - Very nice place. The upstairs was a little warm and lacked privacy, as it was an open room at the top of the stairs (no door). The patio off the upstairs room was very nice. The apartment was very cozy. The kitchen had everything we needed. There was a market up the street. The location was great. We really enjoyed our stay here.

• Shelagh (9/5): Lovely short stay in fabulous Venice in a very Venetian apartment - Location is good near San Angelo water bus stop. A few minutes walk to San Marco. A supermarket nearby. The apartment itself was comfortable and we loved the eclectic furnishings. The owner was easily contactable and responded quickly. He also suggested some good local and inexpensive restaurants off the tourist track. Altogether a very lovely few days for my husband and I with two of our adult children and one partner. The coffee machine is new and we could not buy coffee pods in the local supermarket for the model.

• Arden (8/5): It was a good choice for our group. Just wished the beds were better. - The location was fantastic for us. It was clean and well appointed. The beds were all uncomfortable and hard. The mattress had little to no cushioning.

• Carina (10/5): - Alvise was an exceptional host. He organised a private water taxi for us to get to and from the train station. He was in close contact with us for the last leg of our journey to make sure we knew where to go, plus met us at the dock and walked us to the accommodation. The apartment was spotlessly clean. Alvise explained everything to us and oriented us to the apartment. He spent time with us, showing us on the map where to go and what to see. I cannot fault his service or the apartment. We had 6 of us, and we had plenty of space. The location was exceptional. Within easy walking distance of the Rialto bridge and lots of other sites. The apartment itself is stunning. The photos don't do it justice. The only thing we didn't enjoy was the hardness of the mattresses. Also there's no lift so you have to lug your suitcases up 2 flights of stairs.

The location was great - very walkable to most places. The grocery was just around the corner. It was nice to have a balcony with some outside space. The kitchen was very updated and nice. The beds were not comfortable at all - like sleeping on a board with scratchy sheets.

• Sue (8/5): Pleasant stay in central Venice - Good location and spacious Whilst we broadly liked the property, it is worth noting that the top floor bedroom is a mezzanine floor. There is no hot tub as per the description. The stairs to the top floor are open and would not be safe for children. The property would benefit from some minor maintenance work.
• Hristiana (7/5): Good - The location, the interior of the apartment. The word “luxury” doesn’t really describe the looks of the apartment. It wasn’t very clean as I expected. It wasn’t very clean, there were a lot of things that weren’t washed after the previous group that was there.

• Don (6/5): Not pleasure experience staying! - I like the space of the apartment. The beds are smell. Bathrooms should be equipped with shower jell, conditioner, and shampoo bottle instead off few shower packs. There are no hangers in bathroom. The bathroom up -stair has the rack right on the top of toilet and the hangers so short will not hold the cloths or towels. Lack of kitchenware likes bowls. Kitchen trash can is small, and no cap. Electricity is a big issue. It seems the current are so weak it takes forever to charge a phone. Lack of lighting for the whole apartment. I really disappointed that the owner collected extra $e50 for checking in after 7PM, we did try to get to the appointment place of Fortuny Museum after calling the owner around 6.20PM, but the owner still charged the fee after we struggled got there. To sum up, the apartment looks nice but lack of practical things for a comfortable staying.

• 조 (9/5): A great place to stay in Venice to enjoy San Marco and the Accademia. - Classic decoration and beautiful murals, good internet environment, very quiet, overall very clean facilities including kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, and living room, sufficient towels provided, the manager gave 2 2-liter bottles of water and capsule coffee for free, and it is easy to smoke outside on the balcony next to the attic, etc. Other than that, it is a very satisfactory place, and it is a very good accommodation for families (5 or more people) to rest. It was also good that they took immediate action when the boiler broke down. The accommodation was on the third floor and the stairs were narrow, making it difficult to come up with heavy luggage. The boiler was broken when we arrived at the accommodation. My wife feels cold easily, so we tried to turn on the heater in addition to the radiator, but there were no batteries in the remote control. When we asked if there were any batteries, the manager told us to call him or said that it was warm enough because the boiler was working well, which was disappointing.

• Barbara (10/5): Amazing visit in Venice and I would highly recommend this apartment. - The location of the apartment was incredible. Shops and restaurants are all nearby. Walking to the Rialto Bridge and St. Mark's square was very easy. Transportation via the water taxi (available via a walk-way from the airport) was prearranged and took us right to the location and we walked a very short distance to the apartment. We came from the bus ride from a Norwegian cruise ending in Trieste. After the luggage was unloaded from the bus, we walked across the walkway into the airport and to the water taxi. The apartment manager met us with the keys at the dock and provided a walk-through of the apartment. The beautiful apartment was clean and based on an unexpected early arrival, they accommodated our every need and allowed an early check-in. A market (groceries) was very close by as well. My husband could not lift his leg into the bathtub/shower of the main floor due to hip surgery limitations. He freshened up with a washcloth and for a two night stay, he managed (the bathtub contained the shower head). For me, it was fine and the water pressure was good. There are also a lot of stairs but this would not deter me from staying there again, because of the positive location and cleanliness and tasteful Venetian decorations.
• Pippa (3/5): All fur coat and no knickers - The apartment is like a theatre set, all art deco baroque. Gold paint and glass everywhere. The kitchen was well equipped, the water hot and plentiful, and there was a great selection of jazz cd's if that is your thing. But... It wasn't particularly clean, there wasn't enough comfortable seating, and the stairs were steep and with no safe handrail. The beds were terrible: ancient mattresses were hard as rocks and sagged in the middle, the jaccuzzi wasn't working and the tv didn't work properly. The owner didn't respond to our call, and we were expected to remove all our rubbish so the cleaners didn't have to! Not 'luxury' at all.

• Kirsty (8/5): Fantastic 3 night stay with family. - The location is great. The apartment was spacious and had everything we needed, the terrace was an added bonus. The host was fantastic he gave us recommendations for places to eat which were fabulous. We had two birthdays during our stay and he left us prosecco and snacks upon arrival. The apartment decor is very Venetian and in a quiet area. The beds were rather hard and uncomfortable. The bedroom on the upper floor was very hot even with the fan as the air con isn't directly in the room. The bathrooms could do with being updated.
• Kimberly (10/5): City break, beautiful central location - Perfect location, right in the heart of Venice. The apartment is right next to a spar supermarket which is very handy! We travelled as a family of 6, (2 kids 6 and 8…and grandparents). The apartment set up was perfect. Parents on the top floor with their own bathroom and balcony. We had two bedrooms, bathroom with kictchen, dining and living area. Our host was fantastic, arranged a water taxi from the airport to the accommodation and met us off the boat to take us to the accommodation. He also kindly arranged a water taxi to the tronchetto from where we were getting a coach to Ravenna. The beds were a little uncomfortable, and kind of sloped in the middle. There were a few flights of stairs to the property, not a problem for us but a consideration if less mobile or with young children.

Great central location To all parts of the island. Top floor room needs a block out curtain for the morning and better location for the air conditioner as it was very hot up there. Also lots of stairs to get suitcases up so be prepared for that.

We had to deal with our own rubbish. Were told that it'd be better if we didn't use the kitchen, which it was the idea of renting a flat.

Very quiet side street with supermarket round the corner and lots of lovely restaurants and cafes close by. The owner met us off the water taxi and so helpful with directions and recommendations. Definitely recommend Casa Fortuny. Thank you for extending your hospitality due to our late check out. Absolutely nothing
• Jane (8/5): Perfect location, lovely apartment. - The apartment was in a perfect location and suited our needs. Lots of space for 5 adults and the kitchen was fully equipped if you decided to cook there. The air con was a real bonus and there were washing facilities if you needed them. We were impressed with rhe welcome coffee pods and water, plenty of towels and toilet roll. There was only 1 sofa for 3 people and the 2 other chairs in the living area weren't very comfortable, you couldn't relax in them. The dining room chairs were very wobbly, and the cushions needed re-stapling as the staples jutted out. The kitchen table and chairs were perfect for eating at. One thing to be aware of is that there are 2 flights of stairs to walk up, so beware if you have large suitcases - this isn't a criticism.
• Cassandra (9/5): Huge, comfortable and right in the centre of Venice - The location is fantastic: close to all attractions, quick and easy to get to restaurants and shops, a supermarket nearby and a short walk to/from the pier. The apartment was clean, well-furnished, big and roomy for 5 guests. The host (Alvise) was great at communicating and helpful from the moment he met us at the pier, to help fix the boiler via WhatsApp video chat. Mattresses could do with replacement. Rubbish system was a bit confusing (you're responsible for removal) with what goes out and where to drop off.

• Adriana (10/5): Nice apartment with execellent location in Venice! - Luca , our host was very nice and helpful. He gave us the right directions to find the place. The apartment is elegantly furnished and clean. The kitchen is well stocked. AC and WiFi worked perfectly. There was enough room for us to spread out. There is a grocery store around the corner. Just for future guests information, there are 2 sets of 20 steps each to get to the apartment and no elevator. It was not an issue for us but could be a problem for somebody with mobility issues. The shower in the main floor bathroom , it is very tight and the peace of glass is very small, so if you are not careful you could create a mess when taking a shower.

• Linda (8/5): Beautiful property - Location was excellent and easy to walk to all the main attractions. Our host (Alvise) arranged a private water taxi for us both ways. There were 6 of us so not too much more expensive than taking the public water bus. It was particularly a great way to arrive in Venice and had we not, think we would have struggled to find the accommodation and hard crossing the bridges with luggage. Alvise met us at the pier and escorted us to the property, which was close by. He showed us round, gave us tips and explained things to us. The property was stunning, very Venetian and suited us perfectly. It was exactly as described. There are lots of stairs so bear this in mind if anyone has mobility issues. Highly recommend. The beds were a bit too hard. Being from the UK, we're used to softer but it in no way spoilt our holiday You are responsible for your own rubbish removal and we found this confusing at first.
• Dawn (10/5): perfectly positioned appartment - There was no breakfast offered although they recommended a local bakery and supermarket where we could buy fresh produce and all that we needed. Host was very good at communication. the balcony was a bonus if you have sun as it gets the sun all day. Super close to lots of famous sights and the grand canal is at the end of the lane/road. the beds are firm! Overcome by using the blankets supplied to give extra comfort.

The beds were not comfortable. Also furniture in the upstairs bedroom had holes in it. Could also use a little safety tape on the edges of steps.

The beds weren’t the comfiest, I think the mattresses in all rooms need replacing, they both dipped in to the middle. Check out time at 10.00 is early- I think most places are 11.00 (the last two apartments we have stayed in through Booking.com were 11.00)

Could walk out the door and be in the hustle and bustle of Venice but quiet place at night which was perfect. Very clean apartment with everything you could need. Easy to get to and the host met us there and showed us how everything worked and also pointed out areas and restaurants to go to. He was lovely and friendly and very helpful. Lovely area to be in and highly recommend!!! Apartment was everything we needed and more and perfect. Walking distance to all the major attractions and we found some fantastic restaurants and bars too. Beds were quite hard!!

A quiet neighborhood, many great cafes and shops, a supermarket around the corner. The kids loved having breakfast with local goods & products. Managers helped with maps and suggestions for everything, even arranged a water taxi for 4 am airport run! Even though we had been in Venice multiple times, we learned some great tips. Very kind and helpful. The furnishings are absolutely amazing!!! Fun & upbeat vibe! Many steps, but that's to be expected. Could not find the right coffee pods in the grocery store - went back 3 times. There is a washing machine, but no dryer. They do have a helpful rack. Nothing major, everyone loved the apartment!

I stayed here with my family 5 years ago, so I knew it was a great place. This time I came with friends and they agreed. They appreciated how clean it was. Well equipped. Quiet courtyard balcony Glass stairs to top floor may limit who would go upstairs ( I dont mind them, some might as coming downstairs could be unnerving. ) .Decor identical to 5 years ago,a little worn in places. All else is good. Upstairs, it can be a little noisy as boiler there and water pump ( you can unplug it) and open plan.

• Gillian (7/5): Lovely stay at the apartment but it could have been much more comfortable with a little updating. - The apartment was roomy and beautifully decorated. It was in a handy location for vaporetto, walking and local Spar..the location felt very safe and quiet. For us, there wasn't enough relaxing chairs in the living room. The upstairs bedroom was too hot in summer even with the air conditioning on. We feel that crockery needed updating as if we all wanted to eat at once there was a shortage of pots/glasses and certainly not matching. The apartment is described as having a hot tub, we in the UK would describe this as a bath with waterjets, unfortunately this leaked and flooded the bathroom the first day. Despite the best efforts of the staff and plumber this wasn't able to be fixed until after our weeks stay.

And most important Tiziano welcomed u - We like so much that all part of the apartment is air conditioned. So close to lots of tourist spot. We just only noticed that if you used the bathtub the water leaks on the floor. And every time we used the oven or the dishwasher the electricity off..

• Beqiri (10/5): Impresive - The house was comfortable and impressive. Everything was as described in the booking. The owner was very responsive and communicative, he also helped us orient ourselves with the city. A big like from us. Nothing bothered us.
• Provost (9/5): Fantastic stay near the heart of San Marco. - We lived the historic building and Venetian vibe.
• Paul (10/5): Wonderful, returning to our apartment added to our lovely stay - Location was excellent. Apartment was better in reality than the photos online. Plenty of living room and an excellent kitchen Leak from the bath, I think from the spa jets. Only a minor issue

• Michael (10/5): We all absolutely loved Venice and would definitely stay in this property again. - A fabulous property in a superb location. very clean and comfortable. Luca showed us the apartment and he was absolutely amazing. He recommended some fantastic places to eat and was incredibly helpful. The only issue is that the property is quite dark and the lighting isn’t brilliant.

• Eadaoin (10/5): Perfect for a group stay in Venice - Communication with the host was fantastic, very responsive and helpful. Booked a taxi for us from the airport and gave us plenty of recommendations. The accommodation was perfect for our group of 6. There was lots of space and the location was within walking distance to everything. We couldn't get one of the showers hot water to work
