• AndrewCop (10/5): You have found the Perfect place - Stop scrolling, this is the perfect place, book it straightaway. To wake up less than 50 yards to the grand canal with the stunning Rialto bridge is incredible. I will never forget this feeling. The apartment is perfect, comfortable bed, excellent space for 2. The bathroom and shower works great. Good kitchen facilities too if you need it but there are so many fantastic restaurants and places to eat that you will want to be out and about. Venice was amazing for us and our 4 night stay at Casa Tella was perfect. Our host, Francesco, could not have been kinder or more efficient. He provides all the answers immediately and offers great suggestions to enjoy Venice better too. No criticisms at all, we are a couple in our 60's that will book here again for certain.
• Christina (9/5): - Logement propre et bien situé. Très confortable. Idéal pour un couple ou entre amis mais sans enfants en bas âge car beaucoup de marches pour accéder à l'appartement. Au dernier étage donc on profite du calme. Et pour finir l'hôte est top car il donne un maximum d'informations et d'explications qui rassurent et qui permettent de se sentir au mieux pour passer un bon séjour.

• stanislava kolarova (8/5): A good base for exploring Venice - The accommodation matched the photos and description. We arrived in the evening and the street felt dark and a bit run-down (mostly looking like shop storage areas), but it was fine. I wouldn't recommend it only for people with mobility issues, as the staircase is quite narrow and steep. It didn't bother us, though (you just think twice about going up and down for a third time, and after a day of sightseeing, you’d rather just stay in :-) ). The kitchenette is tiny. Sufficient for preparing breakfast (coffee was provided). The sloped ceilings might be an issue for taller people, We noticed some occasional noise from the neighbors, but nothing terrible, and it was mostly quiet at night. The owner responded to messages immediately, and there was a detailed information book about the city available.

• Betti (10/5): Szuper szállás, a legjobb helyen - A szállásadóval nagyon könnyen felvehető volt a kapcsolat azonnal válaszolt minden üzenetemre. A szállás elhelyezkedése lenyűgöző, a kaputól 20 méterre éttermek, kávézók, boltok sokasága így tényleg nem kellett messze menni vacsorázni. A bejárati ajtóval szemben még egy "luggage store/ locker" is van, így mikor kicsekkoltunk reggel, oda csak betettük a cuccunk és egész nap tudtunk bőrönd nélkül szabadon mozogni. A lakás felszerelése, amúgy mindent kielégített, a hajszárítótól az esernyői a kávéfőzőn át minden volt :) A 72 db lépcsőfokon azért meglepődtem :) szóval ne felejts a szálláson semmit, különben vissza kell menned érte :):):)

• Matskefski (10/5): A lovely place in the heart of Venice (if you can afford it) - Everything was perfect. The house is equipped with everything you might like or want. Francesco has done a great job with it and as we are in the matter of the host, he is extremely kind, responsive and reliable. The aesthetic he gave the house is very warming and makes everyone feel welcomed. We could find anything we needed that the house didn't already provide, but by my experience, I would expect if it's within reason he would accommodate. The location is in the same category of strong points. In the heart of Venice and has access to every direction you might want to explore. Nothing detrimental to note. Just a warning. The house has a steep flight of stairs. Noteworthy only if you have someone suffering from respiratory issues or inflammation of the joints (weak heart, arthritis ect) and so on. But my gf who is troubled by poor health managed just fine.

So friendly and made check in and check out so so easy!! - information book inside that gave us great insight into Venice and the apartment - not an issue but just a warning there are a fair number of stairs required to reach the apartment

Il est même venu nous aider pour descendre nos valises la toilette de fonctionne pas bien, on a mis nos papiers dans la poubelle comme en Amérique latine car ils ne ''flushaient'' pas toujours. Les escaliers, beaucoup d'escaliers! Donc moins pratique quand on a une grosse valise pesante. On l'avait lu dans les commentaires et on a décidé d'y aller pareil :)

En revanche ne convient pas aux seniors car l'accès comporte de nombreux escaliers (50 environ dont 30 très raides) Les nuisances des voisins (jeunes touristes anglais) très bruyants durant 2 nuits mais cela n'est pas lié à l'appartement

• Nataly (8/5): Great location and good value for money but lots of stairs!! - Great location right near the Rialto bridge, and only a 20 min walk from the main train station. The apartment had a good amount of space, but was on the top floor of the building, so ceilings were sloped and pretty low in places (my 6'2" husband had to stoop in some parts of the bedroom). Bed was comfortable and AC worked great. Host was very responsive and left a comprehensive guide on all the features of the apartment as well as local tips. The apartment is located at the top of the building with about three flights of stairs in a fairly narrow staircase - be aware of this if you or your companion(s) are not very mobile. Being in the attic also means sloped ceilings which are pretty low at points. Keep in mind that the kitchenette is very small with only a beer-sized fridge.

• Natalie90 (9/5): Lovely apartment in great location - Wonderful apartment. Very clean. We stayed for 5 nights and it had all you needed to feel comfortable and at home. The little kitchen was useful to prepare meals and lunches if needed. Bed was comfortable. Most of all the location was great and we enjoyed being so close to Rialto bridge. A clear manual of Instructions was left by the host which was very useful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Small things to note are the low ceilings in the apartment, and the stairs to the apartment, which may be hard for some guests to get up and down.
• Özge (10/5): Cosy House, Exceptional Hospitality - We recently had the pleasure of staying at this remarkable house, and it truly felt like a home away from home. The cosy atmosphere made our stay very comfortable. What stood out even more was the owner's outstanding communication skills. From the moment we booked until our departure, the owner went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met.

Bathroom is pretty small and the hot water ran out pretty quick. There really are a lot of steps (about 4 stories), just a warning.

• Laura (10/5): Perfect - The apartment was beautiful, very cosy and give me Italian vibes. The location was perfect and close to everything. The communication with the owner of the apartment was excellent and he couldn't have been anymore helpful. The amount of steps to reach the apartment but this can't be helped.
• Luis (10/5): Exceptional - I can highlight the communication with the host who gave all the information about the possible ways to reach the place. He left a file prepared with a series of useful information for the stay, including good restaurants nearby, information on transport ... etc. He was flexible with the check-in/out time to suit the flight schedule. The house is comfortable, quiet, clean with AC and has everything you need for a stay, ok you have to climb a few steps to get to the apartment but nothing that is not bearable. With a fantastic location, close to the bridge and the Rialto market, it is a good starting point for any tour of Venice. If I have the opportunity to return to Venice, I will not hesitate to look for Casa Tella. Thank you Francesco for helping to make our stay in Venice a fantastic experience.
• Kevin (6/5): Pleasant - Great location next to the Rialto and numerous restaurants The 70 steps up and down to/from apartment. The apartment being built into the roof as there was very little headroom and made it uncomfortable moving around for a 6 foot person. Only mentions stairs on the booking.com website, but not how many, nor does it mention how little headroom there was in far end of bedroom and bathroom.
• Katja (9/5): We had a wonderful stay in the apartment and in Venice. - The location of the apartment is perfect. Just around the corner of the Rialto bridge and the vegetable and fish market, but in a quiet alley. So no problem with sleeping and when you go out you're already in the heart of Venice. Supermarkets are also close. The apartment is charming. We liked to open the window and listen to the bel tower in the morning. We missed a waterboiler to make tea. We cooked water in a little pan but it took a lot of time before it boiled. And we missed proper lids for the pans. But maybe we didn't look close enough.
• Tina (9/5): Wonderful Apartment in Venice - Great communication from Francesco from point of booking to being met and shown the apartment Apartment is fantastic,clean and comfortable and in the best location for exploring all of the delights of Venice. Apartment on the top floor meaning a few steps to climb but we were helped to carry luggage by Francesco..worth the climb up as we slept well despite being in the heart of a busy centre

We had a very early flight and the host offered us early check-in and in the end, also late checkout, without extra cost..very much appreciated! Great value for money! The stairs, luckily we had no big luggages - Since it's an attic, watch your head in some corners of the apartment

A great host who took time to make sure we found the property, not always an easy task in Venice! It really felt like a home for the weekend and not just a soulless place to sleep. I can't think of anything!

• Julie (9/5): Great Location in Central Venice - the location is amazing, just minutes from Rialto Bridge. The bed was very comfy, and the apartment clean. The stairs - not for anyone who is unfit or with mobility issues. They are very steep and there are a lot of them. Other than that, everything good.
• Deborah (9/5): cute apartment with plenty of amenities, up many stairs - great location, many amenities, excellent AC. Description is true to experience (many stairs up, no elevator- ceiling quite low in some places in the apt, watch your head) unfortunately WiFi was not working (it was down when we arrived, and although Francesco got it working in a couple hours, it stopped again after a couple more hours and was out for the rest of our stay- a few days). For us (reliant on WiFi to text/coordinate activities) this was a big deal, but other than this the stay was perfect
• Norbert (10/5): Perfect stay with kitchen, although lots of steps to get into apartment - - perfect location - cosy - air con and hot water all the time - you can cook on induction and equipment is there - fridge I personally don’t mind but there’s a lot of steps - it is top floor so if you have reduced mobility you will not like it as there’s no lift, it might be easy to reach the ceiling if you’re tall, otherwise no problem!
