Carmen (9/5): Dream Venetian House - It's a dream house in Venice, perfect location, super local neighborhood, fantastic apartment, nicely decorated, big, with high ceilings, and clean. Very stylish: a "true venetian experience". The kitchen is gorgeous and with the basics to cook. The feeling is not staying in a tourist apartment but in a venetian home. I highly recommend it. The pillows are very thick and uncomfortable! the owner just need to buy two additional pillows for those like us who like to sleep with thin pillows.... the rest just perfect.
Michael (10/5): Memorable property in a great location with locals. - A special location on a quiet canal far from the tourist hub. Authentic. Large and lovely space. No complaints. Bonus points if A/C could be added to second bedroom.
Paul (9/5): A great location to enjoy the sights of Venice, whilst not being overwhelmed by other tourists. - The apartment is in a quiet part of a lively neighbourhood with a canal right outside. The 'street' it faces onto is attractively Venetian and leads to two piazzas with bars, restaurants, gelaterias and bakeries. There is a small supermarket 3 minutes walk away and a larger one less than 10. There is even a canalboat that sells fruit and veg less than 200 meters from the front door! The area feels very safe and has a good mix of locals and tourists. The host, Virginia, provided us with details of excellent eateries and bars nearby and useful info to get to and enter the property. It is less than 10 minutes walk from the vaporetto to the apartment. It was clean, tidy and full of character and art. Highly recommend. Nothing!
Anthony (10/5): We had a wonderful stay …. The location gives you a taste of the Venice where locals still enjoy an evening sitting outs - In a wonderful quiet location overlooking a canal. Big rooms with high ceilings and great eclectic decor. Nothing at all… it was perfect
