• Jerome OSullivan (6/5): Good basic room, make sure to understand check-in - The room was clean and provided most of what I really needed. I took the orange line to the Rialto Bridge. The location was convenient to my next stay but the title says "next to Rialto Bridge." It's a 10 minute walk for someone familiar with the area. Even when asking for directions, it's confusing because of all the turns and bridges. Without data, it took me a very long and tiring time with my bag to find the hotel. When I got to the rooms, they were locked without instructions. I found it difficult to find WiFi. FYI Muro San Stae restaurant has an unlocked WiFi. After getting in communication, Nicola was most helpful and told me that the door was now open for me with the keys inside. Nobody's fault here. Just saying I had problems and maybe there is a better way. I'm sure she thought I would have already had WiFi but I did not yet visit TIM or Vodafone. Having data would have helped for sure. Also the AC was not in operation. I like to have background noise. Especially since the alleyway has light traffic with people talking. I managed to use an alternating fan they have. I did not see a dishwasher. Overall, a solid but poorly communicated stay—good once settled, frustrating to get there and get in.

El aparato de los mosquitos que te prestan. Lo siento pero no estoy de acuerdo en la puntuación que tiene este alojamiento y preferiría haber gastado un poco mas y haber tenido mejor experiencia. No tuve señal de WiFi ni un solo día, no llega a la habitación. Le pregunté al propietario y no me resolvió, su comentario fue que si había probado en el pasillo pero no puedo trabajar en el pasillo. Si, tienes para dejar consigna pero me preocupó mucho la seguridad. La cerradura de la habitación era complicada, costaba encajar la llave. Se escuchaba absolutamente todo de la habitación de al lado. No había mando del aire, si calefacción que es más difícil de controlar.
• József (4/5): Overall, the stay involved stress and inconvenience. We cannot recommend this accommodation at all. - Our overall experience at this Apartment was unfortunately disappointing. The only positive aspects were the price and the location. Since it was the off-season, the hotel was relatively affordable, and it is very conveniently located right next to a vaporetto stop. The city center is also easily reachable within a short walking distance. A major issue was the Wi-Fi, which did not work at all during our entire six-day stay. The owner promised to provide a repeater to fix the problem, but this was not done, even in the last days of our stay. Based on other reviews, it seems that this issue has been known for some time and remains unresolved. In addition, the refrigerator in our room was too weak to properly store food, forcing us to use the shared kitchen fridge for our dairy products. We had received permission from the owner to use the kitchen, with the condition that we keep it clean. However, after just one day, all of our items were removed from the fridge without any warning, and the fridge itself was even turned off. According to other reviews, the poor condition of the in-room refrigerator is also a recurring issue that has not been addressed. The key arrangement was also very problematic. We were two people but initially received only one key for our room and no private key for the main entrance door. Instead, we were instructed to leave the entrance key in a shared, unsecured location outside the apartment. This meant we had to hide and reuse the same key, which was stressful and inconvenient. Additionally, at one point the shared key was removed, and we were unable to access the apartment and were locked out. Fortunately, the owner happened to be there at the time and was able to let us in. Only on the fourth day of our stay did the owner notice this situation and finally provide us with a proper key for the entrance door.

Le contact avec le propriétaire était parfait car très réactif et clair dans ses explications. Logement très propre. L'endroit était assez calme mais sombre, dommage que le frigo fasse autant de bruit.. J'aurais dû retirer la prise mais en été cela n'aurait pas été possible

• Nataliia (3/5): - Conveniently located near the canal, within walking distance to the center. We arrived at the appointed check-in time. The landlord didn't send us instructions on how to enter the apartment. It took us half an hour to get inside, but the room we were assigned wasn't cleaned. The landlord gave us another room in the neighboring building, but the negotiations and the change took over an hour. There was trash from the previous tenants under the bed. Checkout was at 10:00 a.m., but 20 minutes before checkout, the staff kept knocking on the door and reminding us it was time to leave. It was very unpleasant and irritating. We were left with a bad feeling after our stay there.

Coop, bake shop and 1,5 EUR cafe just around the corner. Very helpful that we could leave bags in the “storage” room as long as we could. Nicola provided all info in timely manner. Own fridge in the room is convenient. Bakeshop brioche 1,40 Eur. SHOWER! Room no.1 seems to have the issue! And we got it!!!! There is only fixed shower head and it is impossible to shower without your hair being wet! Nowhere to place soap inside the shower unit, it is so tiny. And the water preasure is so low…OK water might be precious in Venice but to wash very long hair was disaster. Not talking about waiting for 5 minutes for hot water. Dust was on top the decorations in the room. Kettle could do the water stone cleaning. You could not run water from the wash basing in the room into kettle, but you could walk into shared kitchen to do so.

Presiunea apei era atât de scăzută, la orice oră, încât din dușul vertical se prelingea practic un firicel de apă, niciodată caldă, de nefolosit (am stat în camera nr. 1). Citisem deja despre un astfel de inconvenient, dar am sperat că problema a fost remediată. Păcat de ansamblul proprietății...
• Nuria (8/5): - Muy céntrico. Las instalaciones del alojamiento estaban muy bien y muy limpias. El alojamiento muy ordenado y la cama muy cómoda. No estaría mal poner una cortina en la ventana puesto que durante la noche entra mucha luz de la calle.

• Silke (9/5): - Nicola ist ein super netter Gastgeber, der immer zuverlässig antwortet und versucht, Fragen und Probleme so schnell wie möglich zu lösen, selbst spät am Abend. Das war wirklich toll! Die Lage des Appartements ist sehr günstig, man kann alle Sehenswürdigkeiten auch zu Fuß sehr gut erreichen. Es gibt einen Supermarkt, Bäckerei und mehrere Bars und Restaurants direkt im die Ecke. Es ist sauber. Wer keinen großen Luxus braucht, sondern nach eine einfachen soliden zentral gelegenen Unterkunft sucht, ist hier sehr gut aufgehoben. Ich war im November da und es war sehr kalt. Es dauerte ein paar Tage, bis das Appartement warm wurde. Für ein altes Gebäude in Venedig ist das aber wahrscheinlich auch normal. Die Gemeinschaftsküche ließ sich nicht heizen. Aber Nicola brachte sofort wärmere Decken für das Bett. Und in der wärmeren Jahreszeit bleibt es wahrscheinlich länger kühl im Gebäude, was dann auf jeden Fall ein Vorteil ist.

• Susan (9/5): Great location and the best budget friendly stay! - Amazing location! The place is perfect for getting everywhere easily. The room is spacious and comfortable. It is nice to have a kitchen but I never used it so I can not say anything about it. All was clean and the stay was lovely. Ps. The coffee place down the street (Bresso?) was fantastic for a good coffee and snack at a good price. It would be nice to get WiFi in the room but it was also nice to be offline for a few days. I could alway go into the hall for WiFi if needed.

• Marianna (7/5): - Ottima posizione, in una zona tranquilla e vicina alle principali attrazioni La stanza non era quella che pensavo di aver prenotato (non corrispondeva alle foto) e purtroppo l'abbiamo trovata non particolarmente pulita: c'era molta polvere e un asciugamano non abbiamo potuto usarlo perché erano presenti dei capelli.

No hand held shower, only a shower head. The owner lives in a different city, nobody is there to provide any recommendations about the city. You stay alone. Owner refused to give me an legit invoice. Il n'y a pas de volets ou rideaux a la fenêtre donc manque d'intimité. Et le plus gros problème est qu'on entend énormément les voisins (on peut entendre ce qu'ils disent ou chantent)

Il ne s’agit pas d’une vraie cuisine, mais plutôt d'un coin repas reste pratique et tout est proche : commerces, restaurants, transports. Pas de télé, mais cela ne nous a pas manqué. Accueil et contact avec l’hôte au top, très sympa et disponible. La salle de bain un peu humide, sans que cela gêne le séjour.

• Charlotte (8/5): Convenient location - The room was big and there’s also a shared kitchen living room which we didn’t use but it’s great if you need to cook or clean. The location was central, within a 10 minute walk of the main areas of Venice. It wasn’t noisy at night either due to being down a small side street. The cleaner was leaving our room as we arrived early and he seemed very friendly! The shower in our room didn’t work well and neither did the bathroom tap. Both only let out a very small amount of water. The wifi was also quite poor.

• Andy (9/5): zeer aangenaam verblijf met alles erop en eraan - Super goede locatie, alle comfort was aanwezig (o.a. airco met het warme weer), goede bedden en de accomodatie was proper. Zéér positief was mogelijkheid om uw bagage achter te laten maar daar hebben we geen gebruik moeten van maken. De wifi was ook snel. Er was geen douchegel en de handzeer was op maar verder geen opmerkingen.

The fact that the water stopped while I was in the shower. The difficulty in using the key for unlocking the room. It needs some sort of special effort that you can master after a few times.

It had a private bathroom with a small shower, though the water pressure was a bit unreliable (but ultimately all worked well). The bed was large and comfortable, the AC worked great. The shared kitchen looked clean but I didn't use it. Good value for the price by Venice standards. No real complaints. Everything was great for a few nights' stay.

The location is amazing, a 7 minute walk from Rialto and a 4 minute walk from a decent sized supermarket in a residential area. The rooms are clean and well appointed and the kitching / dining / living room is perfectly appointed and has everything you could possibly need. Brilliant place to stay. The internet connection could have been a bit better, but I'm used to fiber optic.
• Simone (8/5): Very good - Access from the airport is fairly straightforward. Get the Alilaguna orange line, a few boat stops, and within 500m straight line from the stop you're arrived. Easy access. Check-in and communication with staff were super easy over WhatsApp or phone as needed. At check-out you can leave your luggage in and pick It up later when ready to go. Kitchen is fully furnished, including coffee powder and Moka machine if you like that style. Cookies, chocolate and panettone with sparkling wine waiting for the guests as an extra touch during Xmas season. Very convenient location. Except for the first couple of nights and due to the massive temperature difference with Australia, the room was warm and cosy. There was a minor misunderstanding with some guests that made their way through in the bedroom I booked with my stuff still in there -miscommunication with owner AFAIK-, and changed the bed sheets, but that was handled promptly by manager and owner. Profusely apologised, with an extra bottle of wine

The kitchen and living space that’s accessible to everyone was cosy and inviting. Our host was very accommodating and friendly. We could leave our bags downstairs after we checked out. Loved our stay here. The moka pot wasn’t working very well and the French press was broken so our morning coffee experience wasn’t too great.

The room was also quite big, nicely decorated and well-equipped. All in all, a very pleasant Venice experience. The mattresses were a bit too soft for me, but I am sure many others will like it. And a mosquito net on the window would be nice (there was a chemical mosquito repellent available (the ones you plug in), but it was almost empty.

• Desmond (10/5): Really enjoyed the stay here, will definitely return - Facilities were great, solid location close to Rialto Bridge & Alilaguna stop. Lots of great restaurants in the area. Room was clean. People living above were a tiny bit loud, but it didn’t impact my sleep at all

• Peggy (6/5): Okay for a brief stay. - Very convenient location right by a transportation site; comfortable neighborhood in walking distance. Dark and drab interior. Poor lighting inside; hard to even read a map. Listing was inaccurate; should have stated that the kitchen and sofa were not in the apartment but rather shared in common by other people. I Could hardly cook because only one burner on the 4 burner stove produced gas to be lit by a cigarette lighter. Ok for one night but definitely not the 7 nights we stayed there.
• Dainis (7/5): A calm stay in Venice center outside crowded area within walking distance to all the main spots - The location of a property was good - close to restaurants and walking distance from main tourist spots and public transportation, same time quiet and not crowded area. The host was easy to communicate and all the instructions for getting keys was clear and easy to understand. The restaurant suggestions by host (given in apartament) was good, we tried them and enjoyed. Room was clean, bed was comfortable. The shower not easy to use - no any space to place shampoo, shower gel etc. while showering. Shower head is fastened to wall and no option to use it without full showering. Towels were worn out.
