• Ian (9/5): - The location was great for getting around. The accommodation was comfortable, well appointed and the information was great. We had to deal with refuse removal ourselves which was tricky. It is said the municipal refuse removals would be available in our area until 9h30 each morning. This was not the case, with the refuse boat having left by 08h30 both times I went down, which led to unnecessary stress and time wasting on a holiday trip. There are clearly nuances that the locals understand but are tricky for visitors.

Necessita di una pulizia meno superficiale. Odore un pochino fastidioso dagli scarichi del bagno. Sarebbe gradita accoglienza con qualche capsula (anche solo un paio per il promo giorno) per la macchinetta da caffè

• Cherry (10/5): Lovely place near the heart of Venice. - It is a very lovely place, right near the famous places in Venice, but it is not noisy. The rooms are spacious and have all you need. The staff who greeted us at the door even at 23:00 were very friendly and explained everything thoroughly. I will definitely look out for your place again in the future. The check-in process is very office like. I have not been able to check my emails previously before our coming because of busy schedules and it is such a hassle to email you when we arrive, set us a google meeting etc..i find it very outdated in this day and age. We also cannot be accommodated for our heating . It is set to 19C. And we are not allowed to put it up or to turn it off, so we were a bit cold.
• Jane (8/5): Charming well located apartment. - A perfect location close to main tourist areas but not actually in them. Supermarkets close by. A very comfortable apartment with lovely decoration and very comfortable beds. Well equipped kitchen. Very clean. The people who meet you to hand over keys were very helpful. There were 4 of us and 1 day there wasn't enough hot water for us all to shower. Water pressure not great. Details about how to collect keys were not given until 24h prior and I would have liked to have sooner. The apartment says it can sleep up to 7 but I would not recommend this. There were 2 day beds in a sitting room so not really a proper bedroom. Only 1 bathroom for 7 would be too much.

Thermostat in the middle of the apartment is controlled by the host remotely and it shows only 19 c, in the bedrooms feels more like 16, I got sick with a cold because of that. For the price we paid 350 euros per night it's ridiculous.

• Magdalena (1/5): - Świetna lokalizacja. Pierwszy raz spotkałam się aby apartament był tak dobrze wyposażony jeśli chodzi o zabawki i akcesoria dziecięce. To stara kamienica i mieszkanie niejedno widziało, ale nam się bardzo podobał ten klimat.

• Javier (9/5): Excelente lugar! - Era muy comodo, tal cual lo que se veía en las fotos, estaba muy bien equipado, con juegos para los niños, Cocina completa, que creo que no haber usado, salvo la cafetera. Tener Aire Acondicionado, si bien cuenta con ventiladores en cada habitación Tenia AA solo en el living y en una de las habitaciones mas chicas. De todos modos la estadía fue muy buena.

• Chitra (9/5): - Sehr gute Lage. Großes Appartment mit sehr guter Ausstattung. Sehr sauber. Leider nur ein Badezimmer mit Toilette. Kann bei 5 Personen gleich mal stressig werden. Etwas zu heiss, da Klimaanlage nur im essbereich und 1 zusätzl Zimmer war.

Por decir algo, las escaleras para acceder al piso. No fue problema para nosotros pero si vas con una silla de niños o maletas grandes puede ser un inconveniente.

• Cara (8/5): Wonderful Venetian apartment in fantastic quiet location. - Great location - easy to walk to everywhere, although also not too busy with tourist crowds, so perfect if you prefer a quieter spot! An authentic Venice apartment overlooking the canal with modern comforts. The apartment had everything we needed and was secure. Host greeted us at apartment and went through everything. Loved the history of home which used to be part of the attached church. Not a complaint but we did have to pay a security deposit (which was unusual as we haven’t paid a security deposit at any other bookings.com places we’ve stayed in our travels) so worth nothing for other travelers to be prepared for this. It is mentioned in booking information so shouldn’t be a shock. Also have not received it back yet and it’s still pending on my card.

• Susan (10/5): Lovely apartment in Venice - Very good location, easy to find and a 5 minute walk to all the main attractions, situated on a Canal which you can see from the bedroom windows. The only thing which would be good is a mirror in each of the bedrooms as it only had 1 bathroom, and there were 6 of us trying to get ready, but that is a minor thing.

• John (9/5): Loved our stay overall. - Location was great, unit was clean. Beds were very comfortable. One bathroom for 6 people but we expected that, a bit warm in the bedrooms, a bit challenging meeting the man for the keys but he was very nice and helpful. Could use more wastebaskets.

My mum loved the comfortable day-beds. They are so nice after a long day exploring. The location means there are some many options for food and drinks. Hosts are so friendly, helpful and welcoming.
• Thatblokeintheshorts (10/5): Another excellent stay - my favourite apartment that I have stayed in. - Third time we have used this apartment as family group, lovely apartment with plenty of space. Adults can sleep in peace and teenager can game on line with excellent wifi. Has almost everything conceivable you might need except a really big caffeine addict sized Moka. Location is good - not too far but also not too close to the teeming hoards of day tripper must sees. Not a problem for me as my knees still work, but not suitable for anyone who has trouble with stairs. Nothing I don't like !
• Cassandra (8/5): Very good - The location was great and it was quiet for sleeping. There is only one shower and it is rather small (but that is somewhat typical for Italy). The trash/recycling was very complicated due to it being an Island.

• Jennifer (10/5): Great Central location in Venice - This is our second stay at Casa Dell'Artista and wouldn't hesitate to come back again. The location is fantastic and it has all the amenities you could possibly need. Beds were very comfortable and the apartment was very clean Nothing. We loved it!

• Christine (10/5): Wonderful stay. It feels like home. - Beautifully decorated apartment located a few minutes easy walk to the main attractions. Long walk from the train station difficult pulling suitcases over bridges with stairs. A great idea is to catch the A1 ferry from right out front of the train station to the Railton stop then it’s only a few minutes walk to the apartment.

Charges in the amount of $285.00 were added to the cost of the room - over and above what I had already paid. Host said I would receive a refund on the extra cleaning deposit and security deposite I had to make. Nothing received!!

• Jeanne (9/5): Highly recommend for small families (6-8). - A bit tricky to find but a lovely piazza. No elevator. A water taxi directly to the train terminal was excellent. Lovely fresh market on the piazza during the day was great for healthy snacks. Gondola ride close by. Lovely accommodations with a washer!
• Mary (10/5): Gorgeous apartment with a special, grand dining room - close to everything! - This location could not be beat. We were a 10 minute (maybe less) walk from one of the main docks where you could get the water taxis / arrive from the water taxi - the stop was S. Zaccaria. Within a 1 minute walk from the apartment we were in the heart of the action. You can walk to everything. This apartment is on a lovely street in a walkup building with a main building door, then 2 other doors to get into the apartment--it felt incredibly safe. This was our first stop in Italy and we were sharing this with extended family. There was plenty of room and the beds were comfortable, privacy for all of us, and the best thing was the dining room. It's gorgeous and grand, and was our hub for our whole visit...eating breakfasts, getting ready for the day, recapping the day, etc. I wanted more time here. I wanted to buy this apartment, we loved it so much. I would absolutely recommend staying here and I will be back ... and in this apartment. This isn't something that can be changed but since there is only one bathroom, there was a lot of coordination between our group to ensure we all had time to shower.

• Péter (8/5): A great apartment in a nice part of Venice. - The apartment was huge and clean. It is located in a quiet part of Venice with nice restaurants nearby. The host was very friendly. It got a bit cold overnight and we were not able to control the temperature in the apartment.
• Uma (4/5): overall an ok experience - more for the location of the apt. the management company was just so so - the location and apt was lovely the managing staff didn’t make all costs known upfront which would have been helpful before booking - felt like they were nickel and diming every step which took away from the experience. the instructions on what to do when exiting the apt were also not very clear.

• Maniwmg (9/5): Nicely decorated, comfortable and well located Apartment! Very good for families with 3 to 4 kids! - Located closer to St. Marks Square, clean apartment and comfortable stay. Well decorated rooms with free wifi, as the entire apartment was rented by us, the kids had separate beds and rooms to sleep with lot of board games offered for them to play. They enjoyed a lot ! Too many bridges to reach this place and carrying heavy luggages and stroller was a pain ! The price is higher considering the facilities offered by this apartment. No bottled water offered for the guests. and the kitchen did not have a microwave ! At the end of the 2 days stay, we were short of toilet tissues, they could add little more on to the stock.
• Delia (10/5): Great location, totally worth for the money. - The apartment is very big and clean and perfectly located within 2 min walks from Piazza San Marco. After we left the apartment, we got an email from the host telling us that we left the apartment in a disaster. indeed, we did not separate the garbage as per the house rule and a fine was applied but to receive a message telling us that the apartament was in a bad conditions when we know that this is completeley false, left us with a bad tase. My rate is for the apartment that is really really nice and worth for the money. But i feel disapointed about the guest’s behaviour and it make me think that it is a rasist thing.
