- Dawn (10/5): Perfect apartment in a quiet location with lovely hosts - Love, love, love! Such a pretty apartment with beautiful antiques in every room, lovely décor, and the most wonderful garden to sit and relax in. The bedrooms are large and comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. There was even a bottle of champagne waiting for us in the fridge. So cute. The hosts were most accommodating. Our flights were delayed, delayed, delayed, till we ultimately arrived a full day late. Flavia rolled with it and continued to simply say “just let us know, we’ll be there for you”. So sweet. They even gave us a partial refund for the missed night. Considering that we had paid a non-refundable rate, this was completely unexpected and greatly appreciated.
The location of the unit is in a quiet, residential area, away from the touristy stuff. We enjoyed this as it was nice to have a quiet respite from the noise. All the places you’ll want to visit are easily accessible by the nearby water taxi, so no problem. There are a couple of restaurants 2 minutes walk so that was especially nice the first night to not have to go anywhere in search of dinner after a harrowing travel experience Nothing. It’s lovely
- RAQUEL (10/5): Perfecta!
- Nerea (10/5): Lovely stay, everything was exceptionally clean, and the hosts were warm and very accommodating. -

- Jane (10/5): Brilliant choice on the Sant Elena area of the city. An oasis of calm after a day in the centre. - Location perfect. Minutes from the Waterbus stop. Genuine Venetian building & wonderful welcome from the host. Nothing
Rien
- Maria (10/5): Gem of a place - we would like to return. - * Great location in quiet residential district, within easy reach of tourist attractions, shops, restaurants and gardens/playground.
* Lovely appartment in old building, with large rooms and high ceilings.
* Good quality lightweight bedding and towels, suitable for hot weather.
* Exceptionally clean and well maintained.
* Hosts Flavia and Marco were very kind and friendly, proactively letting us know about restaurant and supermarket options for our first evening.
* Garden.
* Children’s toys. Nothing.
- Alfred (10/5): Fantastic find! - Such a nice flat in such a lovely area. A really great stay
- Joel (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent property that made our stay in Venice unforgettable. Flavia welcomed us and we appreciate her kind explanations about the return to the airport in the early morning and how to get around the neighborhood.
The apartment is beautiful and comfortable, although it is a bit far from the center, it is very easy to get around with the 2 vaporetto stations nearby, Santa Elena and Giardini. Only one water bus stop away if you consider visiting the beautiful island of Lido.
Having an Italian coffee in the afternoon in the garden was a beautiful touch to our stay, as was walking through the beautiful gardens of the Biennale.
A place where you feel like at home.
Thank you Flavia!!!
- Linda (10/5): Second time stay - wonderful again and Flavia and Marco are wonderfully kind and generous. - Excellent location for the Venice Biennale All excellent
- Amy (10/5): Exceptional - Our hosts Flavia and Marco were incredibly warm and kind and we absolutely loved our stay. The location was convenient to the vaporetto stops, and nice and quiet, away from the bustle of the tourist center. It was totally our fault, for not knowing Celsius conversion- we didn’t realize how cold the AC was set our first night, so I was super cold. I’m not complaining though- having an AC in the summer heat was amazing and a pleasant feature.
- Milda (10/5): Exceptional - The apartment is located in a quiet area, has a beautiful garden, great interior and all the amenities you could imagine. All of us immediately felt at home. The hosts were super helpful as well, offering plenty of tips for the city and even helping to arrange additional activities.
- Sakai (10/5): Biennale - Wonderful host, full of attention to her guest.
- Gabor (10/5): Exceptional - the only toilet is in the bathroom
- Dant (10/5): WE had a wonderful holiday at Casa Pusterla! - The beds were really comfortable and Flavia was an amazing host. She met us super late when our arrival was delayed and got us into the apartment. She was also extremely helpful in providing information regarding the strike and how we could get back to the airport at the conclusion of our stay. The apartment is well equipped and had everything we needed for a great holiday in Venice. We knew the apartment was a bit further from everything we wanted to do and see but it was in a super quiet location so that made up for the distance.
- Dominik (9/5): Nice and calm. - Nice and calm location. Host was helpful. And very nice small private garden Only mosquitos were bothering us (which is kind of paradox, because it was caused by nice garden) and it would be better if there were Netliflix, Youtube etc. on tv.
- Linda (10/5): Great. - Brilliant place ! But hopefully it doesn't become TOO popular and difficult to book - ha ! Niente
- Andrea (10/5): Excellent :) - All was great - really nice & friendly vibe from the owners, helping with everything we needed, the location of the accommodation (walkable distance from the old town, but feeling also like part of the local community) and all facilities inside & around.
But the main spot was the garden - in these hot days, it was perfect to hide a bit from the sun in the afternoon.
Thank you for making our visit so nice :)
- Monica (8/5): Very good - Very friendly host, easy to get in contact with, sharing all necessary information.
Let us keep the room longer (late check out) which was very nice as we had late departure
- Rajat (10/5): I am happy I choose this, totally worth for your money. - House was big and rooms were spacious. It also comes with a garden so everything was great. We were 5 people and still this was good for us.
- Megna (10/5): One of the best stays we’ve ever had. Absolute perfection. - Beautiful property, serene location, extremely hospitable host Everything was perfect
- Gary (10/5): Exceptional - The hosts are very responsive and helpful. As we arrive late at 11pm, they met us at the jetty to show us the apartment and the key. Flavian even prepared us some food for us. Excellent hospitality. Love the quiet neighbourhood and the place is clean and well kept with a lovely garden. Will definitely recommend this place.
- Martin (10/5): It was perfect for us. - The apartment was very clean. The location is great and well communicated. Garden was quite and beautiful. The host very helpful.

- Lena (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing place in the beautiful city. Very calm, perfect for anyone who is looking for rest. The host is very hospitable, she prepared for us map with all places of interest. We are family with 3 kids and this apartment was very comfortable for us. The terrace is the best place for family dinner.
- Vincent (10/5): Exceptional - We could not have dreamt of a better place to stay in Venise. Casa Pusterla is a very much like a ground floor Venitian palazzo with antique furniture and paintings and yet it is modern, very well-equipped and so spacious. It
Flavia and Marco are wonderful and very caring hosts. Flavia was always very reactive during the booking process and always answered very quickly the numerous questions I had. We spent New year's eve there and she gave us all the information we needed to organise a splendid night, including attending a drama performance at teatro Goldoni where they have English & French subtitles. They waited for us at the appartment when we arrived, but they also offered to meet us at the vaporetto (=water bus) at San Elena stop, which is only 5 mins walk from Casa Pusterla (and the paved path makes it very very easy to roll the suitcases).
if you are looking for a place in one of the most genuine part of Venise, this is the place to stay. You will enjoy the liveliness of Via Garibaldi (10-15 mins walk) with its numerous winebars where you can be served cichetti (=italien tapas) and restaurants, as well as the strolls along the Castello quays, where you will enjoy a magnificent view of Piazza San Marco and the rest of the Island.
I know where I'll be staying when I go back to Venezia!
- Michal (10/5): Casa Pusterla was like coming home after the long walks - Casa Pusterla was the best choice of our visit in Venice. the apartment is spacious and fully equipped with everything one may need. it is located a few steps from the Bianalle in the loveliest quiet neighbourhood. The hosts Flavia and Marco waited for us at the vaporeto station and provided all the necessary information. better than any 5 stars hotel (as far as we are concerned) nothing - it was perfect for us
- Roeland (10/5): Exceptional - A very comfortable and cosy appartment in a quiet neighbourhood next to the Giardini.
Very nice and informative host.
Very clean, nice garden. The bedrooms and kitchen-area are very clean, original and cosy appartment in a neighbourhood of Venice that is still a place where Venicians live.
