• mary (9/5): - The host was brilliant checking in with us everyday to make sure we were ok The apartment was very clean and it was great being right on the canel to be able to watch the gondelars and boats go by. Great outside space also. It is very central to restaurants and shops literally at the end of the alleyway and a short 5 minute walk to the nearest vaporetto stop. The bus station and trainstation are also only 10 -15 minute walk. Could have done with a oven.

• Nicola (10/5): What a fantastic stay! We would love to return! - Our stay here was perfect, the apartment was very spacious for our family and it was magical watching the gondolas pass the window. The location was excellent with a vaperetto stop, supermarkets and restaurants just around the corner. We stayed for 3 nights and it was a perfect time to get a taste of what Venice has to offer. We would love to return some day.

• Kate (10/5): - Lovely layout and large living spaces. Nice to open up onto a canal and see boats and gondolas go by while still being quiet. Fast wifi. Due to all the water in Venice mosquitoes are around. When we inquired host Roberto told us stays and plugs in's could be found under tv cabinet but clearer information during check in on where to find these things would have saved us a few bites.

• karen (9/5): Great apartment, perfect location and great host Roberto - Having the outside area was great as was view of the canal with gondoliers passing by from the living room. Washing machine came in handy with plenty of room outside to hang & dry. The location was perfect right next to main street with shops & restaurants and close to Fondamenta della  Misericordia for lovely wine bars by the canal
• Michelle (10/5): A real gem - so glad to have found La Levantina - La Levantina was a perfect home base for our stay in Venice. Traveling with my 2 teens and my parents in their 80’s we needed to be near the vaporetto…we could easily walk to the vaporetto stop just a couple minutes away on foot, two very convenient grocery stores very nearby, and the beautiful Cannaregio neighborhood with shops and restaurants. Roberto was helpful leading up to our stay, with detailed directions from the train station to La Levantina, and checked in via text through our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. I couldn’t ask for a better host. The apartment itself is charming, clean, and had everything needed to make our stay comfortable. We appreciated the washing machine and laundry soap, the kitchen with all necessary cooking supplies, and comfortable beds, including the sofa bed. The private courtyard is so nice for sitting outside for a meal and to watch the gondolas float by! What a treat. I hope we can visit again one day!

• Kimberley (10/5): Such a lovely home from home, would definitely stay again in if ever in Venice! - The place had everything you could need, I think Roberto thought of everything from a guest perspective. I normally stay in a hotel for ease of just having staff and breakfast etc but really, it was such a great experience I would do self catering again and it was so close to supermarkets and restaurants. My kids really enjoyed waving to the locals every morning and saying “ciao” it was a unique and special experience for us, I do not think it can be beaten for location! Nothing really

• Diane (10/5): Beautiful apartment, in excellent location, with a kind and caring host. - This apartment is beautiful. It has an excellent location and a wonderful host. We had everything we could need. It is located on a canal. I had not expected the gondolas to be in the area. Within minutes of arrival, and with the window just opened, one floated past. My daughter called out and asked about singing. I told her that was an extra charge. On queue, the next one came and he was singing. We really knew we were in Venice. My fourth visit and finally made it to Burano. Loved it and everything about our stay in this beautiful apartment. Only one thing we did not like......having to leave to continue our travels.

• Margaret (10/5): Fantastic place to see Venezia from. - Great apartment, space, air conditioning washing machine, outside line , outdoor seating, quiet, fabulous location to waterbus and main Canareggio 'street'. Roberto was a great host - very helpful via WhatsApp. Pietro who met us and let us in was excellent too. If you catch waterbus to Marcuola, it is only one small bridge to take suitcases over. Be aware of mosquitoes in the evening - right on a canal, so don't open windows or door in the evening if you don't want them to visit.
• Vanessa (10/5): PIECE OF PARADISE - The apartment was amazing! We loved how you entered from street level through a secure gate and had a whole private courtyard where we enjoyed meals together. The apartment was very tastefully decorated and had everything you could want. It was so special to back onto a canal with gondolas going past the loungeroom windows. Roberto was so quick and easy to communicate with and gave the kids a lovely book about Venice, which we will all treasure. I wouldn't hesitate recommending this accommodation. That we couldn't stay longer!
• Tuuli (10/5): Rare accommodation - The apartment is very well and thoughtfully equipped and clean. The owner is super helpful. The location of the apartment is ideal - grocery store, water bus stop and restaurants practically around the corner. The window of the apartment offers a rare view of the canal - it is interesting to watch the rise and fall of the water level. While sipping your morning coffee, it's nice to watch the passing boats with the locals hurrying to work. If we ever travel to Venice again, we would definitely like to stay at this accommodation.

Was warm and comfortable with all you could possibly need.Arrangements for leaving luggage which was very handy very near restaurants bars and supermarkets but also private and quiet. The owner met us to hand over the keys and show us how everything worked. In advance he sent us the ferry time from the airport which was useful. He sent WhatsApp messages each day just to make sure we were ok. Nothing at all

Roberto was amazing - met us at the vaporetto stop, walked us to the apartment and let us check in way earlier than planned. The place is fantastic - the living room faces a small canal with gondolas passing and there is even a private garden - two steps from the street to Rialto, but very quiet and cozy and has everything you might need. Roberto gave us great recommendations on osterias nearby and was available and helpful throughout our stay. He even thought of a clever way to keep your bags secure and on the property after check out, so you can fully enjoy the last hours in Venice. We will definitely come back! Mille grazie, caro Roberto! You need strenght in your heart to leave the keys and close the door behind you after your stay - everything was perfect.

• Natascha (10/5): One of the best places we have stayed. - Absolute perfection. I can't think of a better spot to enjoy Venice. Watching the gondalas and boats go past the window whilst sipping an Aperol on the sofa was what you dream of for your Italian holiday. Our host met us at the closest boat and walked us to the flat. Having the private courtyard is an absolute priviledge. We found everything to be spotlessly clean and found all we needed in the kitchen and bathroom. There are two shops for food about 200meters down the street. If I have family and friends staying in Venice I will tell them to stay here at La Levantina. I hope to be back myself one day...
• Leo (10/5): Venice canal charmer! - Outstanding property. Eleonora met us at the train station and escorted us to the property. Zero stress and it was so appreciated. The property is canal level and you can chat with the gondoliers as they paddle by! Kitchen is fully stocked with all that is needed to make a meal. The AC was strong in the heat of the summer. The highlight of the property was the private courtyard. We began and ended our day out there enjoying great conversation. The bedrooms did not have AC units so the doors had to be left open to take advantage of the the main living area AC units. It was not a bother for us but for some it might be. The AC was sufficient to cool the bedroom to sleeping comfort. It was hot in Venice at the time and this really did not bother us...but the bedroom doors had to remain open.
• David (10/5): Outstanding! Roberto went above and beyond expectations to make our stay pleasant and memorable. - Roberto, the owner, met us at the Marcuola dock on the Grand Canal. He was outstanding helping us with our luggage, walking with us to the property and helping us move in. Everything was perfect. He and the property exceeded our expectations. When we needed help with sheets for the sofa bed, he responded quickly. When we needed a replacement coffee pot, he brought one to us promptly. When one of our party turned up sick, Roberto went above and beyond in helping us connect with a video doctor and getting to the hospital. He even left his family on the beach to meet us when the ambulance arrived and helped us with translation. Throughout the remainder of our stay, he checked in on our well being multiple times. Roberto is the best host we have ever had. The property exceeded our expectations. We can't say enough to explain how satisfied we are with Roberto and La Levantina. N/A

• Kristine (10/5): Great stay in a quiet area on a canal! - It’s in a nice little area, closer to the train station than St Mark’s square but we appreciated being able to walk everywhere. Roberto is probably the best host we have ever had and really made the trip extra special. He met us on our walk to help find the house, provided tons of great recommendations and was just generally very helpful! The house has a small but very efficient kitchen that had all we needed as well as a clean bathroom. Roberto had a stash of booties and umbrellas on hand when it started raining, and a handy storage place to hold our bags after check out. We didn’t get to use the outside dining table due to the rain, but I would have been out there every day in better weather!

We arrived late in the evening, the owner Roberto met us at the boat stop and took us to the place, gave the keys and told everything about the rules of stay and the apartment, it was very pleasant, especially after a long journey. The apartments are wonderful, everything is there, kitchen, dishes, refrigerator, washing machine. Wonderful Italian patio where you can relax after long walks in magnificent Venice. Roberto was always in touch, prompted the fastest routes to get to the sights we were interested in. The location is super, the boat stops are very close in different directions, the fish market, as well as the Spar market within a 3-minute walk. We had a great time, got a lot of impressions, many thanks to Roberto for the hospitality!!!! Nothing
