• Alejandro (10/5): - La ubicación, las vistas y el contenido del apartamento. Realmente nada, solo tener en cuenta el check in, se cobra aparte si se entra más tarde de las 20:00 (lo pone antes de reservar) y que la cama son dos individuales unidas.

• Fabiana Piro (7/5): Good location - Location and the apartment is big. Need cleaning. Floors were dirty. Bathroom needs upgrade has mold on the walls. Is very cold at night and heating didn't work well.

• Amy (9/5): Can’t beat the location, super nice host. - Great location, really. Roomy. Marco could not have been nicer! Our flight was delayed, and he was kind enough to wait on the doc for our private taxi to deliver us to him. We did have to pay extra for our late arrival, but that’s fair. By the way, it isn’t immediately obvious how to get to your destinations in Venice when you arrive at the airport. Though crazy expensive I really appreciated Marco suggesting a private water taxi. ZOOM! It was a highlight of our trip on a beautiful wooden fast speed boat, late at night. Advertised as two (three?) bedroom, only one bedroom. We only needed one bedroom, but were hoping to pinch pillows from spare room. Honestly at the end of the day, regardless of location and all the trimmings, all I really want is a warm bed, reasonable sheets and pillows that aren’t like pita bread. We asked for two more pillows and a blanket and he delivered, promptly! But I see I’m not the first guest to request this…why not just leave extra pillows and a blanket?
• Dorota (7/5): Lovely, central and spacious apartment. - Location was lovely and the host was super helpful and friendly. The apartment was a bit cool in the morning but it is a large property with tall ceilings. Internet works great and the apartment has all the basics needed. Would benefit a better tv option though after a long day of exploring, it would be nice to rest with some good tv. As above

• Barbara (8/5): Ich miete die Wohnung wieder, auf jeden Fall - Die Lage, wenn man es mal gefunden hat. Die Adresse von Booking war überhaupt nicht good. Damit findet man das Sentiero aber mit der ungewöhnlichen Nummerierung braucht es einige Zeit bis man das Haus findet. Mit Koffern Treppe hoch, Treppe runter nicht ideal. Wenn ihr: Calle de l‘Agnella eingebt bei Google Maps dann werdet ihr direkt zu 2274 resp. daneben 2275 geführt. Dann habt ihr einen wunderbaren zentralen Platz für Venedig.

No coffee machine, Markings on the controls for oven worn away so couldn't use oven. Dropped a hairclip in the bedroom and I had to look under the bed for it. Months of dirt and dust under there. Shower very slippery and hose is leaking.

• Bauer (9/5): It was a magical first visit to Venice I would come again, and perfect location, easy access to all. - The Owners really accommodated our schedule, met us at the Water Taxi and showed us where the property was, thank you so much for your professionalism and friendliness, and made it so easy for us all. There was nothing I could say that we didn't like. The apartment oozed Venice appeal and was a fabulous representation of the area, high ceilings, all appliances you could ask for there. Speedy Wifi. Great views.

• Gregory (8/5): Venice canal apartment - A perfect location for exploring Venice. The apartment was large.and the washing machine is a.wonfeful extra. Espresso pot and coffee was available to brew. Marco was very helpful answering our questions about things of interest nearby and helping us traverse the water taxi system to the correct stop to find the apartment. The main bedroom was large and comfortable, but the second bedroom bedroom was very small and the bed was no more than a cot. Would have been suitable for a small child. Extremely uncomfortable for a full grown adult. Extra pillows were provided, but they were stained and had no extra pillow cases to cover them.

• Francesca (8/5): 10/10 location and lovely balcony for watching the world go by. - Location was perfect - lots of bars, restaurants and shops in the immediate neighbourhood. It was away from the main tourist areas of Venice so felt relaxed and pleasant yet only 10 minutes walk from them. Loved the little balcony to watch the comings and goings on the canal. Lovely big apartment - great for kids to each have their own space to sleep.
• Julie (10/5): Wonderful place for a family to stay on vacation in Venice. - It was a very nice apartment, very clean, nice bathroom and beds. Location was out of the crowds which was nice and very picturesque on a small canal. Could have used a more modern coffee maker. We did figure out the Moka pot though!
• Amber (10/5): Better than expected, pictures do not do this rental justice. - The pictures do not do this room justice! It was more spacious than we’d believed it to be. Our kids loved having their own space and enjoyed the nooks above their beds. The room is located within walking distance of everything and the canal out the little balcony is beautiful and very picturesque. The AC hadn’t been turned on yet and we couldn’t find the remote. A quick message to the owner and we had the remote and got it running. It was cool enough in the evening not to need it but a bit warm without it during the day. The rental was spacious and welcoming. The beds were comfortable. Owners are very good with communication and information. We ran out of toilet paper our last day and there was no coffee in the room. We had our own coffee mix we’d purchased earlier in our travels so this wasn’t a huge deal but it would have been nice to use the moka.

• Kellyh (9/5): Superb - The apartment was spacious, especially for an apartment on a canal, though no toiletries were available (no shampoo, no body wash, only one roll of toilet paper. Not nearly enough for daughter who had started menstruating!) Location was great! Marco and Nicoleltti were very responsive, before, during, and after our visit. I would definitely stay here again! The floors could have been cleaner. It looked like they were rarely mopped, but the hosts were very kind and friendly. It's a great place to stay!

• Girish (6/5): Sweet and simple. - Property was nice, with a 5-15min walk to almost all attractions. The host was quiet communicating with instant replies on all questions. The stairs to go up, with Bags that was too Much. The check out time is too early at 10.00am.

• Thomas (8/5): Great location but… - The location and view from our room was amazing! Also,, there is a washing machine….that was perfect! Two things… 1. He had to meet us and charged us $40 more because we were late arriving in Venice. Traffic to the airport where we dropped our car off was HORRENDOUS, then we had to take a water taxi, so we were late. I felt that he was annoyed. 2. It’s an apartment he rents out I know, but he rents to people traveling. There were zero tissues, paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, even a dish drying towel. You are expected to go to the market and purchase everything except TP.

Would love to stay again. - location, cleanliness, responsiveness of the host Not a big issue but the mattress for the double bed are actually two mattresses joined together. The mattress can be changed to a single queen size mattress which corresponds to the size of the bed to make it more comfortable.
• Peter (10/5): Perfect location to explore Venice. Close to the main areas but away from the noise. - I liked the spaciousness of the apartment. It is perfect for a family of four. There was a washer and a full side fridge and kitchen that were nice to have. They walk up the stairs was dark and we couldn’t find the light switch.
• Katherine (8/5): It was a great place for our family to stay. Location was perfect and "easy" to find. - The location of this property was fantastic. It was so cool to see the canal so close and watch the boats go by. the host met us to give us the keys and explained everything to us. The bedding is a little bit tired, and there weren't sheets- just a comforter.
• Andrzej (10/5): Picturesque view - Location was great, the balcony overlooking the canal and two bridges where tourists kept taking pictures. Coffee and tea, all kitchen amenities. No another set of sheets for another bed, also no hangers in the bathroom.
• Leon (8/5): Large comfortable apartment. Great for a family who wants to do home cooking. - The apartment is spacious and the kitchen well equiped for cooking for groups. The main bedroom is lovely and the heating worked really well as we had some very chilly days. Lots of action goes by the balcony and the view is classic Venice. The small room was very crowded with unnecessary furniture and the pillow very thin. The whole place could use just a little bit more comfort and style. No complaints as it was a very pleasant stay but it could easily be made more inviting. The stairwell can be a bit difficult in the dark.

• Loucas (9/5): Superb - We have been there just for 2 nights and wanted to close in the centre as to have everything near us The appartment was big and located in the centre of Venice 5-10 minutes walking distance from the major attractions. Although it is an old building it is partly renovated and kept in good condition. It is suitable for families but it was just me and my wife and felt enormous. Venice is a city that you feel you are transferred in a different age. Going into the appartment balcony you see the canal just below with the bridges and it feels that you are living into a painting. Venice is just beautiful, I loved he city. The owner contact me and sent me the train schedule and everything before arrival, so I appreciated it. The check out is at 10:00 a.m. but it gives you the chance to walk for a last time around the area that never dissappoints

• Alexandra (8/5): Very good - The view is stunning and quaint. Photos really don't do it justice. The apartment was also quite spacious for 3 people. The AC worked like a charm It's a fact of life Venice is full of mosquitoes and no accomodation is going to have screens on their beautiful windows so don't forget to bring bug spray!! We had the balcony open a lot so unsurprisingly I was eaten alive when I went to sleep.

Powerful air conditioners - which are a necessity in July. charming apartment. I highly recommend staying at Balcone sul Canale. Centrally located for any area of Venezia.
